I have applied to open a current account with axis bank derawal nagar, delhi branch on 28th oct 2019 in the name of my firm. On 5th nov 2019 when the proprietor visited the bank and signed the balance documents they gave us the cheque book and told the account will be active by 08.11.2019 that is friday. So i issued cheques accordingly for 11.11.2019 and so on. For opening they took cheque of rs 1, 00, 000/-. Now i have issued 2 cheques which both got returned resulting in the loss of goodwill agaisnt our compnay and my rs.1, 00, 000 is still with the bank. Since 15th nov 2019 i am asking them to refund my money but everytime i go they say sir today account will be active. Nothing happened till 18th nov 2019. Please help me getting my money from these theifs who are sitting and have opened a bank name axis bank. No reponse is been given by manager against why it got delayed or by any other staff. I want my money plus i want my loss of goodwill charges and my reimbursement charges which i occured to travel to bank again and again.

    On[protected], few fraud transactions took place from my axis savings account for an amount of INR 10000. I instantly blocked my credit and debit cards. Upon processing the fraud request I was reimbursed my whole amount. This matter was settled right here. A rental company from the UK was supposed to reimburse an amount of INR 21, 295.09 to my credit card, however since the card was now blocked due to fraud transactions, reimbursement was not getting processed. Upon contacting the branch head, he said "I tried to activate credit card but I got confirmation from the credit card team that card has permanently blocked. Neither It can be activate again nor amount withdraw/transfer." So My amount is still blocked.
    In parallel, I applied for a new credit card. A representative visited my house, explained about a few credit cards and I chose ABC credit card. She processed my application and then told me about XYZ credit card. I instantly told her why she didn't tell me about XYZ card as i want that and not ABC. She said let ABC card come to you, you don't activate it and tell the customer care you don't need ABC card and they will permanently block it. Upon receiving ABC card, I did as asked, and called customer care. In a few days, I received a statement asking for INR11800 for credit card activation fee. I called customer care to revert the charges and block the card, they said they will get back to me within 15-20 working days. In a few days, an amount of INR 11800 (the card activation fee) got automatically debited from my savings account. I never initiated this conversation, nor my account is set for auto payments or auto debit. The payment due date was also far away when the auto debit happen.
    So now basically,
    A. Axis servers are not secure and fraud transactions took place from credit card team

    B. They have robbed me of total INR[protected] . - the reimbursement amount stuck in the old card and 11800 the new card activation fee)

        My online account on axis bank is closed though i was using it actively from last one year. The account still have thousands of rupees saved and also submitted the documents online while creating account. Still the account is closed. The android app showing balance as zero and 404.
        I have lost hope not sure what to do. How could a standard bank close your account without your consent when you have thousands of rupees into it. They could have followed me by making a simple call atleast.

        I am looking into it on options how to complaint about this and get back my money atleast. A private bank cheating a customer of one year long relationship is just pathetic and unacceptable. How could i trust axis bank in future anymore.
        Please provide any suggestion on how to get my money back or atleast sue to the bank for the forgery.

          I had axis bank salary account from my previous company. I have changed my company at mar-17 and since i am not using axis bank salary account. I have recently checked my balance and it showing -38000, it like for 2.6 years axis banked has charged me 38, 000 rs which is extremely high. I also tried to contact but not get satisfactory answers. Please help me. Already raised complaint on it but no action taken by Axis Bank.

            So i had certain dues on my credit card as i didn't had a job for 3-4 months i couldn't pay the due. I went to my nearest axis bank branch and asked for a settlement, as i had just joined a new job paying in one go wasn't possible for me. The guy in the branch said that i can pay the settlement amount in 4 emi's and i agreed on that, gave that in writing as well, i got a call day after telling me to pay the first emi and i did as they said, but the very next day axis bank put a lien on my account stating that i have not paid the dues. I went to the same guy again he said that the lien will be removed as i have paid my first emi. He told me that the lien would be removed within 2 days, it's been more than 2 days my lien is not removed and i have an urgent payment to make. Axis is making my life so miserable. Even after paying the dues they are taking away peoples hard earned money.

              fraudulent transaction (ecom pur)

              Rs. 2069, have been deducted from my account and the statement doesn't mention who were they paid to. I haven't made this transaction as i was out of town at the time. Need to understand what happened here.

              I have checked the communications from the bank and i didn't even receive a text message for this transaction, else i would have caught it then and there....

              My name is naveen m. I got loan sanctioned successfully for rs. 1, 20, 000/-. Loan id is 11304707 from axis bank but it is now total 7 days the amount is not credited to my account.

              I submitted my all documents on 6th nov 2019. Paid everything as requested by your agent. I took the printout for the loan approval copy signed on it and gave it to your agent. (This should be done by your agent but still i did the photoxerox and hand it over to the agent).

              On 13th agent told me that it will get credited on 14th, i waited then on 14th agent told me it will get credited on 15th i again waited now on 15th they said it will get credited on 16th and now its 3pm and i am still waiting for the amount in my bank account.

              What is happening here? One thing your manager and agent have to do that too they are uneligible to do. I already told the agent 100 times that i need this amount asap because this is for the marraige purpose, he kept promising me everyday that tomorrow u will get tomorrow u will get but it was just a hoax.

              This is my mistake that i opted for axis bank. Even pnb is better than axis if you guys dont have good team to even handle a loan process properly then why wasting customers time???

              On 6th nov itself i told your agent that my couple of friends are looking for loan i will refer them to you but now i will never do that because i dont want them to suffer as i am suffering.

              Its 2019 and axis bank takes more than 7 days to credit a amount wow... Even citibank gave me loan in just 10 minutes. Very bad experience i will never refer this bank to anyone.

              Bad team, totally confused management and distributing loan to people. Hilarious.

              Now i want you to take proper action here and credit my account with the money sanctioned today itself. I am waiting

                This is with reference to my credit card statement for the month of october 2019 for rs.11668.27. I have made the payment of rs.11670/- vide bank of baroda cheque bearing no.000072 dated 31st october 2019.

                The said cheque i have deposited on 31st october 2019 at axis bank, jayanagar 4th block branch, bangalore (Deposit slip enclosed for your reference). But till date they have not sent for clearing. On 11th also i have enquired there for my chque. But the answer is unclear. Simply saying that they have sent for clearing, but they are not ready to said that what happen after sending the cheque for clearing.

                I have enclosed the deposit slip for your reference. Please enquire them, what have happen the cheque, please inform me.

                  I tried calling the customer care number about this but there's no response. Rs 20498 is debited from my account without any prior notice. They just completely swept my account now it has zero balance. I don't know who to contact about this. I saw many people complaining about the same issue some of them have received a reply but it isn't resolved yet. I hope i get my money back. I'm so frustrated right now.

                      Dear sir/madam,

                      This mail is regarding online transaction issues dated on 5th october 2018.

                      As per passbook status 10000 rs. Is debited from my account however it is claimed by payee that this amount was not credited in his account.

                      I have directly contacted to near by axis bank branch but they refused saying that they can't provide help since transaction was done before 6 months from date of complaint, however this is not expected from such a big corporate bank like axis.

                      Please suggest necessary steps to be carried out and help regarding this issue.

As i saw my balance and called axis bank customer care to report fraud transaction, then they are telling it's been blocked by bank and i need to visit to any axis bank branch for the same. Why? If after completing entire loan process even amount got credited and welcome letter received, how bank can do this, need a jutication and solution on the same asap.

                          I opened a savings account (Sbezy) from axis bank in 2016 during when i was a minor. By march 2019 after completion of 18 years my account got debit frozen. After reaching customer care they insisted me to visit my branch. I visited my branch and submitted all the required documents and minor to major conversion form twice in 6 months but still no action is taken and still my account is frozen. I couldn't use my own money.

                            Respected Sir,

                            I am Robert John. My mobile number is [protected]. Also I am using a JIO number because of network issues.

                            Long back in the year 2009 I had used a credit card from the Axis bank. Also I settled and closed the account in 2010 with all the other cards (SBI, HDFC, HSBC, Axis, ICICI) I was using.

                            I suppose in the year 2013 (from my memory) I had someone call from the Axis bank regarding the non payment of the dues for which I had duly
                            furnished the closure letter with that person stating that nothing is
                            outstanding in between myself and the bank. I felt a sigh of relief after that
                            and forgot it for once and all.

                            Relieved for a couple of years someone from the Axis bank again called up
                            a couple of times in 2017 and inquired about the same. With oral verification over the phone he never called me back.

                            Now it again started. At the end of last month (October 2019) someone called up again from the Axis bank. He told me that I have applied for a loan (which i never did) and he said that my ratings are at low because of the pending of the closure of Axis card. I have again informed him that I have no payment pending regarding this.

                            But this time these guys from the Axis bank now have called up my relatives (I wonder from where they got all these numbers) and have threatened them stating that I have given their number for collecting the due or to give them my details. Also they have said that I have given their number as reference for my credit card account. Many of my relatives are perplexed and informed me about this trouble that they are going through. And some of such my relatives have become my family after May 2011 from my marriage. How could this be possible?

                            Today (13 November 2019) at around 2.59 pm someone called me from the Axis Bank. The caller called me from [protected] (screenshot attached) and never gave his name. I wanted to tell him the details of what i have done so far with the Axis bank. But he cut the call abruptly before i finished my reply. He was very rude, and i had to reply him in the same manner. He was not interested to hear me. All he wanted was myself to be present in his office. After this by 4 pm he has called one of my Auntie again and threatened her verbally demanding my details. Later my wife informed me that someone from the Axis bank has called her up multiple times from different numbers during the day while she was in her office. She should not attend any calls while in office. The following numbers are from which she had received the calls [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] (screenshot attached). All these numbers are marked as spam over hundreds of times.

                            Sir, after the year 2010 Chennai has gone through at least 3 worst floods. I
                            have presented the document details earlier as I have mentioned above. After 2014 I had gone through some job shifts. Also I have changed my
                            location accordingly to the necessity. I have gone through all such floods
                            and have got many of my documents destroyed during the floods and due to shifting of my residences. Some of my educational certificates were too lost during this time. Anyways I am living at peace with all my dues paid by 2010 for every single card I was using. No credit cards are used by me at present. I thought the head ache was over. But now and then I get such calls from this Axis bank every couple of years regarding this. These guys have updated every single details of my relatives numbers and every details. But why have they not updated that I have settled the account? These guys have never informed me the pending amount all through these years but they want me to come to their office to settle it down. And why this happens every once in a couple of years they remember to trouble me like this? Why do they want to harass my relatives like this? Will I find a solution for this? Please kindly help.

                            This is regarding the update on yesterday's complaint made by me. Very thanks to the team of consumer complaints forum for helping this far.

                            This morning (14 Nov 2019) by 10:55 am got a call from the same person from [protected] (screenshot attached). His name is Mr.Saravanan. Again he was rude and made me stressed. The same old stories were fumingly retold. He asked me whether I am trying to threaten him by asking his name. He never told me the amount and all he wanted was to present myself in his office. Just to end the irritating conversation I agreed to be available at his office. When asked about his office address he seemed to hesitate and told me in bits and pieces. Address as he had stated: 'Kodambakkam', then opposite to Meenakshi college, finally Axis bank. He wanted me there by tomorrow - 15 November 2019 as the office will remain closed for saturday. The call ended.

                            Later in the evening at 5.20 pm (screenshot attached) I got a call from [protected]. He called me twice and I attended his 3rd call as I was driving back home. He introduced himself as some Mr.Sarwanth? from Axis bank. I couldn't get his name properly as i was in traffic. He spoke to me in english and was very gentle. He said that I have paid all my dues in 2010 and my claim is true. He said that the company has no issues regarding the closure of the account. He apologized me for what I am going through. He promised that I will receive no more calls from the agents and none of my relatives will be in trouble anymore. (Thank you Sir.)

                            But then he gave me the soul shocking news. He said that the amount now they are claiming has occurred as the membership fee from the date of card issuance till its expiry date in 2017. It has come up to around twenty one thousand. Now they have slashed of the interest over the principle membership fee. So I was asked to agree to pay Rs 7538/- immediately to close the account from the Axis bank forever. Or I may get such calls again in future for non remittance of this discounted amount. If I pay everything will be over from now on.

                            I told him that I was never informed that there will be a continuance of membership fee till the expiry date of the card even if the due amounts are paid and the account closed. I was perplexed to know this now. Although he was very gentle in his words he was never intending to give me time to think or consult. All he was expecting me was to say 'yes' for the amount he mentioned (Rs 7538/-) and pay immediately. We ended up nowhere when I told him that I will call him tomorrow about this matter. Now what should I do?

                            1. Why should I pay the membership fee for an closed account? Mr.Sarwanth who called me informed me that I have no dues since 2010 and their system had been updated of the same.

                            2. Why no one has informed me at the earliest since I took the card or at least at the time of closure of the account?

                            3. If there was a membership fee that I was supposed to pay even after closing the account, why did they accepted when I updated them with their closure letter and promised that the case has been closed? They could have informed me at least by that time and the charges would have been more affordable for me.

                            4. Why no one from the beginning never informed me (from 2013 till this evening call) that the pending amount was for the membership fee, but insisted that it was the pending EMI (although I have paid every single rupee through settlement)?

                            5. Was it to accumulate the charges to higher amount and to extract the same? Cos I know how they were after me when I skipped their payment once in a while earlier when I was using their card.

                            6. Is it legal to charge membership fee on my closed account and has been not used since 2010? I have not gained anything out of such membership except for all the stress I have gone through.

                            Please kindly help me as I don't know how to end this...

He has called my Auntie from the following numbers: [protected], [protected] and have did the same. When he called me today he name called me as cheater and fraud. I told him that I will face him in the court. But he said that he has my address and will come to my home to spoil my reputation. What should i do now? Please help...

                                I have been receiving calls in name of axis bank for 2 days. I have no account in axis bank.
                                A lady representative shouts from other side that uzma is registered at my mobile no. & i am lying to her that this no does not belong to uzma.

                                She claims that uzma has done 5lacs fraud in bank & my no is registered under her account. That i will receive notice from bank.

                                She continuously shouts at top of her voice & claims to be bank manager.

                                They are stupid enough to claim someone randomly added my no to their bank account with out considering that a otp is also generated.

                                    I have axis bank easy savings account. I dont use the account but they are charging money on account of non maintenance of minimum account balance.

                                    Last month i have a negative balance of -350, this month the balance is showing -750 but no debit transactions are showing in my account debit/credit statement. I dont know how my money is getting debited.

                                    As per rbi, no banks can impose negative balance but this bank seems not to follow this directive by rbi
