I have my salary account in axis bank. I have been using this account for 5+years. Last year (2018) they froze my account mentioning that its in negative balance and i had to run through various branches here in hyderabad to get that sorted, i didnt have access to my hard earned money for 15 days.
This year, to my surprise, they did it again. My account was frozen by the loans department. I went to the axis bank madhapur branch. They said that as my mother branch is anna nagar chennai, they can only forward my request. So i have filled in the forms and they forwarded my request.
Next day (3rd feb 2019) my account was unfreezed. However imagine my surprise when they froze the account back again on 5th feb 2019. I went to the branch again to find out what happened, they wrote an email to the operations head at anna nagar branch,
The response i got was
Dear sir
Your account is frozen due to npa freeze, kindly take this up with the loans department.

There is no contact information, no additional details. I followed up on the mail trail twice, but there was no response.
No one from axis bank has ever contacted me prior to freezing my account on both occasions. I need this to be fixed as this is my salary account.
Axis Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
