Updated by sensei The problem has NOT been resolved.
I am still waiting for the Senior Citizenship Card promised to me. The Bank on Anwar Shah Road, Kolkata, is playing games with me. I have lodged a complaint with the Consumers' Forum and if everything fails, I shall seek intervention from some NGOs and the Police to be fully compensated for all the mental and financial damages I have been going through since April 2015.
THE DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW:
In the recent past whenever I checked with the bank regarding the matter, I had to face the following problems :
1. First i was told by the their Deputy Manager Ms Arunima Mondol that the Application form got lost.
2. Then the following time I was told the card had come but my name was misspelt on it.
3. The next time I was told that the card had someone elses's photo and so was returned.
4. The next time I was again told that the name of the person to be contacted in case of Emergency was not provided and so it was not processed.
However, when I filled up the Application form each time, there was no mention of the same.
So this has been going on since January 2017 when I had first complained to you about the matter. It is September 2017 now. Are they waiting for me to die and forget about it? In the meantime I had to go through several Medical Tests for which I should have got a discount with the Sr. Citizen Card. I want all my bills to be reimbursed and I want my Card.
