Axis bank seems to be one of the worst banks with inability to create nri accounts or support their internet banking site: during my recent trip to india i walked into the bandra branch to create an nri account. I was promised my account details would be available shortly. I returned from my vacation to india a few days later.

It took multiple emails and phone calls for axis to finally create an nri account 1 month later.

Internet banking, well this seems to be a foreign concept for this international bank. Its 2.5 months now and they have still not been able to set me up with a password (And no: account creation on web site does not work & neither does their complaints site)

Sheesh this bank is a 'back eye' on the banking industry... One needs to stay away from this axis bank at all costs.

    Hi, Today got a call from [protected] at 12:37pm IST. THe lady was telling the bank is going to provide me a more safe ATM card where a security chip will be there. So, the current card would be deactivated. So, they need to verify the details before they dispatch the card. So, she was aksing for expirry date and CVV details.
    But I didn't provide that and she disconnect the call. COuld you please take action urgently?

    But what actions you have taken ? that lady could call other customers also and get the card details? Shoudnt u log a police complaint and prosecute these people?

      I consider myself a responsible individual and I like to stay committed to my obligations, to keep it brief in my past several years of continuous employment I’ve kept my bills paid with all the banks and other institutions on time, unfortunately I lost my job in Nov 2015 and since then it’s been an absolute struggle for me to find a similar new job, currently I’m working for pennies as a freelancer and my income isn’t enough to fulfill all my obligations, due to my current financial status I haven’t been able to make payments on time, but I’ve somehow managed to get by things…

      I’ve communicated the situation with Axis Bank employees, but nothings seems to work, as per RBI’s Collection guidelines recovery agents are only supposed to discuss things with me and in case if I’m not available they can seek information from people I know, but they have been doing exactly opposite of what they are supposed to, My mother has some serious health issues and Axis Bank’s recovery agents have never missed a change to harass her when she’s all alone at home, today it happened again and when I spoke to the representative (Pravin [protected]) personally over a call he as usual again tried his best to humiliate me and when tried I explaining it to him that his method for collection is considered inappropriate as per RBI’s guidelines he boldly said “that they (Axis Bank) don’t care about RBI’s guidelines because it’s India”…

      This mail to you is my last resort, I’m tired of requesting Axis Bank and it’s officials to not follow malpractices, but they seem to be completely adamant to take RBI’s guidelines in to consideration.

      Please help me or at least give me a suggestion to get this situation under control.

      Note: I've tried communicating issues with axis banks ombudsman department, but their phone number (Mr Alok Srivastava[protected] is always unreachable.

        Credit card debt settlement letter

        My credit card settlement letter is issued after the completion of the date .They have issued me a email for settlement letter which state payment should be done on or before 22 JUN 2016 that email is send on date 22 JUN 2016. at 1743. How You will pay the settlement amounts with wroung payment date .Moreover I suspect that knowingly they do it so that the settlement agreement is invalid.         Hello,

        Axis bank credit card department is doing fraud basically. The discount which was written on their website and also on brochure was not given.

        I recently got the neo credit card from axis bank.
        I had very bad experience previously with them with my my zone credit card which i closed almost two years back.
        The features of neo credit card says "10% off on book my show" purchase with discount amount not more than rs 50 per month. This is in written in website and also in brochure
        I didn't care about this first and i made the transaction in bookmyshow on 29th april 2016 of amount rs 668.72.
        The movie was jungle book (3d) and there were 4 tickets each costing rs 150 without tax. So after adding tax it comes rs 668.72.
        I was suppose to get rs 50 off while doing this transaction but i didn't.

        I waited and then raised my first complaint around 2nd week of may 2016.
        Request was raised and was closed without providing any solution or informing me. Great!!!
        Then when i called again around last week of may or first week of june 2016, i came to know about this. Then they again raised the request.
        Surprise, that request was also closed without solving my issue and without informing me. Again great job!!!

        Then i again called on 21 jun 2016 regarding the same issue and came to know that it was also closed.
        The call was transferred to "supervisor" who told me that the call back will be arrange on that same day (21-jun-16).
        I got the call from unknown number while riding bike so i didn't pick up.
        And they did not called again.
        When i called on 22 june 2016 asking about my issue again they told me that call was made once and was not responded. So when they call they will try just one time and that its.
        If you have an issue, you should call them all the day, weeks, months but they will call you only one.. Again great job axis credit card customer care.

        The answer given on 22 jun 2016 was "its a discount and not cash back. It would have been done at the time of transaction itself. If not got the discount, contact bookmyshow". Great!!!

        What the hell. Now i need to call bookmyshow to get the discount which was offered by axis bank itself. Why???

        I am closing my card as soon as i pay my outstanding bills irrespective of what they do with this issue.
        This has given me a lesson which i should have already learned when i had my zone credit card.
        I am not going to accept any credit card from axis bank hence forward.

          My self neeraj kumar parashar.,, i was using a saving account in 2014 and at that time i have taken a personal loan of rs 1 lack. I used to pay it till oct 2015 and then i closed it as i opened in icici bank and at that i send them a request letter to my nearest branch office in vasant kunj saying that i will not pay threw rtgs and please take my new account number and the same will be given by that account at that time they said it will be done but in next month there was no deduction from my new account and they fined me late fine and this continue till march 2016 where sometime there executive used to come and i was paying to him instead of deduction from my account suddenly he stooped to come and now i m not able to pay any amount to any one called the bank many times visited there they said ' aap paise submit kardo fir he hum kuch karenge else will not help'. Now they are saying appke bounce charges are 7000 why the hell i m going to payi m not fool. Aapke bank ki galti k karan why do i need to pay... From past three month i have not paid and will not pay any amount till i get a solution. Please add my icici bank account or else send your exectuive to collect my emi but will not pay any bounce charges as i m not the faulter here.

              Hi team,

              I have credit card with your bank card number: [protected], due to financial problems i was unable to pay credit card payment.

              So, i want to do card settlement.

              I am doing job, i have health issues, so i don't know when my job will be gone.

              So this reason i want to do card settlement.

              At present the card with the following person
              Sruthi reddy (Legal manager) (Ph:[protected])
              She is not accepting to do card settlement.
              And also she is harassing from last 10 days on phone.
              Already we payed 25k amount.
              Now the pending balance is 106500 rs.
              And also she called to my manager. My manager has scolded me, it will be problem for my job. If my job will gone, my family will be on road, because of shruthi reddy harassment.

              Can you please do the card settlement and please provide emi, then only i can pay amount.

              I need to support my family as well with my salary.

                As i proceeded transaction through my credit card for railway ticket, my transaction id is [protected] and received the message in my cell phone no. [protected] that rs.293/ was spent on your credit card no. Xx2177 on 21 jun 2016 at irctc. But confirration ticket was not booked and showing that payment requested. So therefore, request you to refund the amount in my credit card account and cancel transaction as soon as possible and let me know the action taken through phone msg. On my mobile no. [protected].

                  I wanted to open an SB account in Axis. So i went to the nearest branch and enquired about all the details with one of the person present in the sales section. They said to bring me some proof details and initial amount rupees 10500. and after some days i visited the bank and gave them all the needed documents and also 11000 cash to open an account. On the same day i have signed all the legal documents and i am provided with the instant kit of axis bank which has card and checkbook. and the sales person said me that your account will be activated in 3 to four working days. But my not account is not activated. and so i visited the branch again to meet that person but that person has absconded from the office. when i enquired with the manager present there. she said she will help me in opening it within one week time and she will call me. but the account was not activated. when i again visited that manager has resigned the job. and i asked about my account activation and money with the current manager and his response was like. i dont know who was that person. you please raise police complaint. this was the response i got from him. They started to treat the customer in a poor manner. i am highly disappointed with this service. Kindly look into my issue and help me to get back the money.

                    One of the worst customer service axis bank is providing in india.

                    Whenever i called them they put me on a long hold and they won't apologise for that. Also, simply they will divert calls to other departments.

                    1) credit card issue: requested for credit card limit enhancement. They said it's not possible on my card... So requested for credited card cancellation which they have not done till now.

                    One guy will say 7 working day for the cancellation. The other guy will say 30 working days for the cancellation. Supervisor will say 10 working days for the cancellation.

                    No one has exact information, it almost 20 working days never received any confirmation from them. Also, they won't respond for my emails.

                    Worst service ever seen before.

                      Dear axis bank

                      I am neelkamal dhiman and my account no. Is [protected] (Sallery account) opened in 1st week of may by mr. Anshul from axis bank rajori garden, new delhi branch. When i receive my bank kit then its having titanium debit card in the kit, but i have not filled any form to issue me titanium debit card and for this you debited 572 rupee from my account as a titanium debit card charges and now yesterday i have received a msg. From your side of deduction of rupees 1100,
                      What the hell you are doing continoisly me not able to understand, we have opend 10 more sallery accounts from you bank on same day, but only this problem happening with my account.
                      So please solve my issue as soon as possible or i am going to file a complaint against you in consumer court.
                      I have also called to your customer care team and my complaint no. Is 23082045 but still i am in dark and does not find any solution of my problem.
                      Please look into this matter and solve my problem or close my account.
                      I have no need of this titanium debit card so pls change my debit card and issue me new ordinary debit card.

                        Even after paying credit card bill online, the same is not getting reflected in system.
                        when we log into our account, it still shows outstanding balance. I have already reported this issue in March 2016 but still persist. please take care and fix basic functionality of application.

                        I have one question, If any card user fails to pay bill in time and delayed for considerable time, will bank take payment without interest ?
                        I personally believe that if there is issue from bank side, bank should take care of paying next credit card bill of end user.

                          I am dhaval arunkumar sangani, i am holding a multi-currency card with axis bank,
                          This is regarding my multi currency card # ending with 3704

                          Due to auto transaction or may be due to technical issues, hotel homewood suites has debited multiple transactions on my card,
                          They are 3 transactions that needs to be refunded by axis bank as they have been cleared from hotel team and already approved and released the payment from their side – i have already filed a dispute with axis bank.
                          Hared with them hotel clearance screenshot, my card statement and dispute form.

                          The amount was released by hotel folks long ago see the dates.

                          6/8 = $ 732.56
                          6/12 = $ 899.64
                          6/14 = $224.91

                          These amount should be credited back to my account days ago.., it has been already over a week now and axis bank guys are asking for 5 more business days, that is ridiculous..
                          What was bank doing all these days?
                          I want these to be fix asap

                            On 15th June I transferred 15000 to the payee through axis bank mobile application. I trusted it because I always use it for payment and it works completely fine. And this is tha 1st time I used it for transferring money to overseas bank and it's not yet received by him. My account has been credited but still the transaction is pending it's status says "your account has been debited and request has been sent to the RBI " for the last 4 days. And moreover the don't have any working complaining number to deal with such issues. I am looking forward to get some help regarding it.

                              With reference of above mention subject i have a credit card no.
                              [protected]. From axis bank ltd.
                              With outstanding of rs. 31500. App and i make a payment of rs. 30500 which
                              Is much more than of minimum due. Of rs. 24500 app and i charged with rs
                              2039.00 on the outstanding of rs 1000.00 which is totally unreasonable and
                              Unjustied so request you to please reverse the charges of rs. 2039.00+st.
                              Axis bank ltd denies to revert the same, so every bank has to stop mentioning of minimum amount to pay in bill its a misrepresentation and cheating with customer.
                              Otherwise i will go to legal way.

                                My name is Ram. I had a salary account in Begumpet Branch Hyderabad.

                                My account was debited totally Rs.759.25 as Consolidated DP Charges as below
                                17 Jun '16 Consolidated DP Charges - 124.94
                                21 May '16 Consolidated Charges for A/c - 13.10
                                21 May '16 Service Tax @14.50% on Charge - 1.90
                                20 May '16 Consolidated DP Charges - 619.31

                                Why is it happened I don't know, Even I never got any trading account opened.Why this amount is charged from my account???
                                Their customer care is not worth asking.They dont give correct information.
                                Axis bank- Are you trying to make us fool or what???
                                You'll have to give reply for this. I would let every body know about this fraud of Axis bank,
                                I would request you to please take action against them. Absolute ridiculous Bank .

                                  I am using axis bank credit card for more than 10 years, about 3 months back two different transactions in the same month has been charged twice. Raised a complaint with Axis bank they have sent a confirmation that the issue has been resolved in my favour and credited the amount to my card. With in 15 days with out any communication from the bank the credit transactions has been reversed.

                                  I am not sure how to take this forward. In the name of cash less transaction too many mistakes are happening from the banks and the customer is paying the fine for no reason.

                                  Hi Ramesh,

                                  As per our telephonic conversation, for clarification regarding the transaction Rs. 375 & Rs. 355 dated Dec 22, 2015 and Jan 18, 2016 respectively. We were following up with the merchant via dispute ID:[protected] and temporary credit was credited to your account dated Feb 06 2016. Post the said transaction was resolved in your favor and the amount of Rs. 375 and Rs. 355 was reversed dated March 22, 2016 & April 21, 2016 respectively. Post the reversal of the amount the temporary credit was also debited back on March 29, 2016 & April 27, 2016 respectively.

                                    I have an a/c in axisbank which was opened as a salary a/c in vashi.

                                    I've switched jobs and now i'm in pune. I just realized my axis bank a/c savings - [protected] is frozen, and i have no idea why. I have kept the account active and kept doing transactions in it regularly.

                                    Can you please help me de-freeze my a/c

                                    I have not used my credit card while I receiving sms for amount Rs.1029.0 .How can I pay this amount while credit card not used till now.No proper customer response from the bank, indecent response.. cutting the call while inquiring, worst everywhere. only these are the salient features of Axis bank.
