HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH AXIS BANK's HOME LOAN...
Dear Sirs,
This is Jaganmohan Krishnamoorthy from Pune . I restricted myself for a long time from writing this mail to you. But, when I didn't see any proper response and accountability from Axis Bank, I could no longer wait.
I booked an residential plot situated at MANGADU VILLAGE ,sriperumbudur Talk, Thiruvallurvar City II (CMDA Approved Plot - PPD/LO.NO.6/2005 measuring 775 sq.ft.).
In the month of January 2011 I requested for housing loan with AXIS BANK , Virugambakkam Branch, Chennai. I submitted my housing documents January 6,2011 and submit all ( salary , bank, pan, form16 etc ) the document when were they have asked for it. Initially all my documents were collected by Mr.Venkatesh , Divya and later contact person changed to Mr.Hari. They promised me that it will take 10 days and the loan will be approved as the documents are proper. But they have taken more than a month. Finally on[protected] they said that the loan cannot be processed as the plot size is smaller than the required.
Branch Manager Mr.Dharimani Doddabasappa communicated with me dated 09.02.2011 conveyed me that the loan got denied due , I request him a proper denial letter.
I also requested him to give me the reference number / file number you processed in your system and on which date ? a proper reason why it got delayed.
I got a letter at my office address stating that AXIS Bank can’t provide the loan to me.Mentioned that "property is outside the geo limits"
I paid 25000 to the housing brokerage fee of after taking a verbal acknowledgement from Axis executives.
I paid other charges for EC , Document verification and legal consultation charges
Due to delay in axis response, the plot owner denied to wait further and I lost the valuable plot to buy.
This is an horrible experience for me. Property eligibility is the first thing that a bank should take care before accepting document. I have no idea why they took 1 month to check a simple criteria.
I would hence request you to please look into this matter urgently and help safeguard the customers’ rights. You help will definitely ensure that AXIS Bank doesn't repeat such cases down the line with any other customer.
