This is regard to a salary account which got converted to savings account which I was never informed about, they have the policy that if salary is not deposited for 3 months straight they change it to savings account. Even that was ok for me. But my account in Axis Bank was almost inactive for 1.5 years, it was last month when I deposited 10k and few of my friends deposited some amount too there for starting a NGO working in Blindness prevention.
Suddenly one day they debited Rs 6720 saying it is consolidate charges, when I enquired the same in their's phone banking services, I was assured that it would be reversed but it has been more than a month.
1st point I was not aware of the charges or conversion of my a/c into savings. They dont send message for that.
2nd point if I was aware why would I deposit 10k amount there instead of some other active bank accounts?

Complaint marked as Resolved I just received a email from Nodal officer who I myself have emailed about the problem. Not resolved till now!!!
Axis Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Bank has never informed that they have changed my zero balance(salary account) account to saving account. They have deducted around 5k from my account in the name of consolidated charges.
This I came to know recently, when I have updated my passbook.
I am requesting to bank to please refund this amount as soon as possible otherwise have to other action.
Please help on this .
