I hold a life insurance policy through standard chartered bank. Membership number is [protected]. I decided to surrender the policy as i completed the locking period and contacted the customer care for the same. They asked me to send the documents to a chennai. Documents were delivered to the chennai office and i contacted customer care to get an eta on the processing. They had told me that i shouldn't have send it to chennai and apologized for the error on their part.
I tried to contact the chennai office and they said they shipped the documents to pune head quarters and provided me the courier details

This courier was delivered on 23rd january. Since then i have been following up with customer care to understand when this will be processed. They gave me a srn number#76832999
I am an nri and i live in the united states. Almost every night us time i call the customer care and every person who attends the call assures me that this will be taken care in 24 to 48 hours. However nothing happens.
