Helios and Matheson
Court hearings are still going on and the matter is with Liquidator Office, Chennai. The matter pertains to M/s Helios and Matheson is still reserved for orders in view of the affidavit submitted by M/s Helios and Matheson on 21/11/16. The bank accounts has been freezed and the matter was likely to come up in the month of July'2017 as the Court will be closed in June'2017.
The company has proposed time of 24 months for the FD repayment maximum by 2018, which could be as per date of maturity. We shall inform you on the progress accordingly.
Jaiprakash Associates Ltd
There was an important Newspaper Article (Times of India dtd 18th April 2017 – Page No: 19) regarding the Fixed Deposit payments of the company, in which the company is assuring FD payments shortly.
As per the company, the cement deal, which was delayed due to regulatory approvals, is likely to be finalised by May’17 and Rs 16, 600 crore will come to the books of JAL.
JAL executive chairman Manoj Gaur said the company has kept aside around Rs 4, 000 crore from the sale to meet urgent liabilities towards fixed deposit holders and various government authorities.
We also wish to inform you that the Company has approached Hon’ble NCLT for extension of time for repayment of outstanding deposits.
The interim order for the extension of time for making the payment of deposits to be continued till 30th May 2017.
Plethico Pharmaceuticals Limited
The company is fighting case of liquidation in Indore High Court. Kindly note that the Winding Up petition was listed on 17/04/2017 & 17/05/2017.
The matter now stands adjourned to 10/07/2017 as the adjournment was sought by Plethico. Some legal proceedings are still going on.
Also, the order dated 02-01-17 passed by the Hon'ble NCLT, Ahmedabad has also dismissed the Petition preferred by the Plethico for seeking extension of time in repayment to the FD holders.
