I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I am facing with my Ola Electric Scooter, Bike No UP16DX1073 which I purchased in Aug 2023. The scooter functioned well until January 2025, when I encountered a serious charging problem. While charging, the battery reached 93% but suddenly dropped to zero.
I promptly reported this issue to the team at the purchase center in Noida Sector-2, where I originally bought the scooter. However, my request for repair was denied on the grounds that battery damage or charging issues are not covered under the standard warranty. The team advised me to purchase a new battery pack, initially quoting Rs. 40, 000. After negotiating with them on April 12, 2025, they agreed to offer a discount of Rs. 8, 000, bringing the cost down to Rs. 32, 000, which I accepted. They assured me that the scooter would be repaired accordingly.
Since then, I have been following up regularly, but I have yet to receive any response from them. On May 15, 2025, when asked for payment, I promptly transferred Rs. 8, 000. Unfortunately, I was not provided with any official document confirming the receipt of my scooter at the service center or acknowledging the payment.
