Dear Sir,
Please note that we had purchased a Bajaj Fan (Guarentee Card Attached) on 20 April 2014 and we started facing problem in about 3 months time.
We booked a complaint with the helpline number[protected] on 30 July 2014 complaint number[protected], after which people from your service center Aqua Tech Services came and took the unit for repair. They then brought the unit back and fixed it back after 4 days. The same started giving the same noise the same evening. We again called the service engineer and asked him to rectify the same which was not done.
We then again called your toll free number again on 16 August 2014 complaint number[protected], after which again the fan was taken to your service center after speaking to Mr. Prakash Mobile Number [protected]. The same was again brought and fixed saying that it was repaired. But again the fan is making the same noise. When spoke to Mr. Prakash, he asked us to speak to Mr. Subramanya Bhat- Mob. no [protected] for replacement.
I then spoke to Mr. Bhat on Friday 22 August 2014 Morning about 10:20 AM and he said that he would look into the matter and get back to me by the same evening. I then waited till Saturday evening and when I recieved no call from Mr. Bhat, I tried calling him about 4 times but he did not answer the call. Again I called up on Monday at about 10:05 AM and again he did not respond to the calls.
I then got a call from Mr. Divakar Mob no. [protected] from Aqua Tech Services that he would again be sending a technician to take the fan for repair. I then told him that as they have been trying to repair it from 30 July 2014, I would not want to waste further time on repairs and I wanted replacement as the product was defective beyond repair (As your people have tried repairing it again and again). Mr. Divakar asked me to convey the same to Mr. Bhat. This time when I called Mr. Bhat, I was lucky that he picked up my call but he said that there is no way that he can replace it and it can only be repaired and if the problem still persisted, he will again send a technician and again try to get it repaired.
I need to understand
1) If there is a defect in manufacturing, then why should the customer suffer?
2) If the problem can be solved, then why was it not solved in 2 times the unit was taken to your service center.
3) Is your service center so inefficient that even after booking the first complaint on 30 July 2014 and today being 25 August 2014, your people could not solve one small fan problem in about 25 days, more than 2 visits and more that 5 days of having the unit in your service center?
4) Please send in a detailed reply as I want no further repair on this unit and I want it replaced.
