Hello,
I took home loan of Rs 41.00 Lacs from Bajaj
through Andromeda (DSA) because Andromeda
confirmed me that they will refund my processing fee (Rs. 6150.00) over email
and phone. However it’s going to be 2 months now and Andromeda has not refunded
my processing fee yet. I have been following up with them for so many days but
they haven’t refunded my processing fee yet. I even tried to escalate this
matter to the CEO (Mr. V. Swaminathan) and Senior V.P (Raoul Kapoor) of
Andromeda but I have not got any response from them as well. I think this
matter is of no concern for Andromeda. I feel cheated as Andromeda has not refunded
my processing fee even after confirming it over email.

Thu,
Dec 18, 2014 - I received confirmation email from Vijay Majumdar | Vice
President | Andromeda Sales & Distribution Pvt. Ltd. | that my processing fee
amount of Rs. 6150.00 would be refunded after my transaction is executed.
Saturday,
Dec 20, 2014 - Property registration was done.
Sun,
Dec 21, 2014 – I confirmed over email to Andromeda Vijay Majumdar | Vice
President | Andromeda Sales & Distribution Pvt. Ltd and Lokesh Juneja that
I have done Property Registration and requested to refund my processing fee.
Thu,
Dec 25, 2014 – After following up with Andromeda over phone, I sent the
required documents for them to refund my processing fee (PAN, Cheque, Address
proof).
Wed,
Jan 14, 2015 – I resent the above documents as requested by Andromeda on my
follow up. After several calls and follow up, they didn’t refund my processing
fee.
Tue,
Feb 3, 2015 – I escalated this matter to the CEO and Senior VP of
Andromeda.
Tue,
Feb 3, 2015 – Vijay Majumdar Vice President | Andromeda Sales &
Distribution Pvt. Ltd first time replied to mail email that my cheque amount of
Rs 5535 is released and handed over to relationship sales manager Lokesh
Juneja. But Lokesh refused to give me the cheque as he claimed that I have to
pay Rs. 2000 first for the legal documentation, etc. I was never told about any
such amount at the time of processing and now after almost 2 months they have
started to claim it. Lokesh in a very unprofessional way said that he will give
me the processing fee cheque only if I will pay him Rs. 2000.
Tue,
Feb 3, 2015 – I replied the same over the email. I also asked about why the
cheque is of the amount Rs. 5535 (Rs. 1375 less than the actual amount I paid).

Feb 4, 2015 - – Vijay Majumdar Vice
President | Andromeda Sales & Distribution Pvt. Ltd replied over email that
after TDS deduction the amount is Rs. 5535. Also he said Andromeda has already
given the cheque to Lokesh and I need to follow up with him.
Wed,
Feb 4, 2015 – I replied saying that I have not received this cheque then
what is the benefit of releasing this cheque. It was only after Mr. Vijay Majumdar
Vice President’s email confirmation on behalf of Andromeda when I went ahead
and took the Home Loan via Andromeda. As far as TDS is concerned, I asked
Andromeda to send me the TDS certificate as well.
Mon,
Feb 9, 2015 – I waited for 4-5 days and did follow up again. I also told Andromeda,
Lokesh has returned the cheque to the company and requested them to send to my
residential address. But no one has replied to that email yet.
Wed,
Feb 11, 2015 – I waited for 2 more days and asked them to revert over email
and let me know the status of my processing fee. I have still not received any
update and still waiting for my processing fee to be refunded.
