I beg to state that I, Raihana Khatun, have availed a flexi loan from Bajaj Finserv Ltd(Old Name Bajaj Finance Ltd) on 27.11.2019.Since then I have paid 18 EMI till last month without any fail irrespective of all the adverse situations faced by me during COVID PANDEMIC period.However the 19th EMI of this month got bounced as the EMI amount got hiked from Rs 8500 to Rs 24909.I was unaware of the hiked amount although it was mentioned in the loan repayment agreement.Since it is a flexi loan the EMI amount is dynamic in nature and hike is justifiable.However based on my present financial condition and incapable of paying Rs 24909 as an EMI which has been explained to them clearly on mail and I have requested them to restructure my EMI amount as per RBI 2.0 resolution guidelines.I have never requested them for loan waiver in any of my conversation. I am a 57 year old physically handicapped lady working as an senior Accounts Assistant in Northeast Frontier Railway Headquarter, Maligaon, Guwahati.I being a law abiding, sincere and respectful citizen of my country have paid all my taxes on time and have settled all other loans taken on time or way before time untill this month.Being the worst sufferer of pandemic and unable to pay an amount of Rs 24909 I have requested Bajaj Finserv for an EMI restructure so that I can pay that amount without bounce.Every request and the response given is in mail loop.The problem is on one side they are engaged in healthy and professional mail conversation to work on restructure process as per RBI 2.0 guidelines and on other hand they engage their loan recovery agents forcing me to pay Rs 24909 by any means.The loan recovery agents used their cheap trick of character assasination by passing derogatory remarks and false accusation to break my mental stability and outraging the modesty.They are indirectly ordering to their agents to visit my premises and recover the loan by any means And The Situation they are harrassing me by coming to my presises.I have given a signed blank cheque as security and also from their end they have activated a credit protection plus insurance plan so that if I die they get the amount from the insurance company.This insurance plan of Rs 25000 was activated with my Flexi Loan amount without taking my approval and I am paying interest for that too.I am extremely in fear and depressed wondering the course of action they might take when they visit my premises for loan recovery based on their verbal conversation and keeping in mind the insurance policy.The Loan recovery agents have started pressurising so much that till today evening they are forcing me to submit the EMI of Rs 24909 without giving any respect to the mail conversations engaged with Bajaj. Since they have not received any revert mail of my request from their high officials so I need to pay the amount managing in whatever means I can .Their harrassing and hooliganism can be very well understood by the listening to one of the audio.Their insulting behaviour makes any customer breakdown mentally and in some cases to commit suicide.For this very reason the Reserve Bank Of India has penalized Bajaj Finserv (Bajaj Finance) on many occasions and to mention a few RBI penalized them on January 03 2019, again on January 06 2021.Copy of the same is attached with the mail.They are also violating the BCSBI codes of conduct I have just requested them to reconsider and restructure my EMI for atleast a period of two years and have assured them to settle the loan once I regain my financial stability as I have in my past settled 7 years car loan in 4 years 3 months.Ma'am what mistake have I done by requesting for a EMI restructure based on RBI 2.0 Resolution plan when they have so much of security of loan repayment including my signed blank check and credit protection insurance plan.The behaviour meted out by them is extremely unbearable.I being a physically handicapped lady and very small in all the aspect in comparison to a huge company like Bajaj Finserv doesn't have any other option except seeking your help and intervention in this matter.
So It's my earnest request to you to enquire into the matter and help the distressed and pandemic struck customer like us from such harrassing situation by taking necessary action.
