Dear Team,
I would like to formally raise a concern regarding the misleading conduct and unprofessional handling of a personal loan inquiry by a sales executive from Bajaj Finserv.
Ms. Priti Singh (email: priti.[protected]@bizsupporta.com) contacted me multiple times, persistently encouraging me to avail a Flexi Personal Loan, despite my initial lack of interest. After repeated follow-ups, I eventually agreed to proceed based on the assurance that my existing loan—running at an interest rate of approximately 15%—could be transferred to a new loan with a higher limit (₹19–20 lakhs) at a reduced interest rate of 13.75%. This offer was made after reviewing my company profile and salary eligibility, for which I had shared my salary slip at the very beginning.
However, after this initial engagement, Ms. Singh stopped responding to my calls. I later received communication from her manager, Mr. Dewesh Kalantri (email: dewesh.[protected]@bajajfinserv.in), stating that my company is not listed with their finance house, and as a result, the loan application was rejected. It is important to note that this company listing issue was already evident from the salary slip shared at the outset, and both Ms. Singh and Mr. Kalantri were aware of it during our discussions.
Despite this, they proceeded with the loan evaluation, including discussions around my ongoing EMIs. Now, they are attempting to distance themselves from the issue, claiming ignorance of the listing status, which is misleading and unacceptable. This has not only wasted my time but also resulted in an unnecessary inquiry on my CIBIL report, potentially affecting my credit score.
I request that appropriate action be taken against the individuals involved for unsolicited calls and misguiding a customer through an ineligible loan process. I also urge you to ensure that such practices are not repeated with other customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Rahul Shukla Was this information helpful? |
