Bajaj Finserv — fraud by bajaj housing finance employee

My experience with your company regarding loan processing. I was looking for a home loan and i had submitted my request online on various portals. I received a call from bajaj sales manager vicky veer from pune branch stating the benefits of taking a loan from bajaj and that they had a product which would help me transfer my existing loan with a top up which would be like an od facility. I decided to go ahead with my loan application. I submitted all the required documentation and informed my existing bank that i would be closing my loan with them and moving to bajaj. At the last moment vicky veer sprung up a surprise. He charged me close to 1.9 lacs as insurance premium without my consent despite me repeatedly explicitly telling him not to do the same. He took an insurance of 50 lacs without my consent and that too when even the loan amount wasnt that much. The tactics he used was intimidation, coercion, blackmail, mental harassment, torture, verbal abuse and physical threats. He threatened me that my loan disbursement would not happen and it was mandatory for me to take the insurance and i had no choice but to signup for it. I know for sure that there is no rbi guideline which makes it incumbent and mandatory for a loan applicant to take insurance cover for a home loan. I knew he was trying to achieve his sales targets and the resulting incentives. But selling a product by harassing, threatening, intimidating, bullying a customer how fair is that. I was stuck in no mans land. I literally begged and pleaded him. He would mock me by saying now you cant do anything. He said you can go and do whatever you want i wont reverse the insurance amount, basically he was trying to exploit the situation. Its like raping somone and then threatening that person that go and do whatever you want nothings gonna happen to me. I was shocked at his confidence which for sure would have been an outcome of the environment where he was working and now i know why. Despite complaining to the national sales manager no action has been taken against him nad it's been close to 6 months now. It seems like everyone's party in the crime. Maybe he had seen his colleagues do the same and get away with it. Maybe he knew the system inside out of which he was a part and he knew that the system would ignore it cos it brought moolah for the organisation. It was a case of the ends justifying the means. It was a nightmarish one month which i don't think i will ever be able to. Forget. I knew i had been victimised, tormented, tortured and the person who did that was hiding behind a corporate shield.in a rape a victim is physically assaulted and act of aggression against them committed without their consent. Here was this guy who without my consent looted my hard earned money without my consent and then to top it up he mocked at me knowing there was a system who would shield him, maybe even applaud him for meeting his target, and turn a blind eye towards how that target was achieved. I felt helpless and devastated. I had lost my money and was insulted and humiliated by the same person who looted me. I knew i had to fight back no matter what the outcome. I gathered the courage to report this incident at pune wakkadwadi branch. People like vicky veer can be anywhere. These people tend to exploit weaknesses of others or the situation to their personal advantage. They tend to misuse their position of power and authority that they derive. Such people gather courage from the fact that their wrong doings get ignored coz they bring money for the company, how, nobody seems to care. They know the same organisation will try to find some technical loophole to defend him, coz questioning him would mean accepting that the organisation has done something wrong. It speaks volumes about an organisations culture. As i write this vicky veer still continues to work as a home loan sales manager in bajaj pune branch. His linkedin profile is.

The national sales manager has been given me false promises that action would be taken against him this despite reminding him multiple times. All his assurances have been verbal and no action has happened on the grounds, no wonder he heads that team so the confidence of cheating the customers prevails amongst his team. His thought process has been that the complaint will get diluted over a period of time. It's said that a company like bajaj have such people at the healm of affairs. If vicky veer was the perpetrator than the nsm who supports the crime is no better than him. Have lost hope in getting justice. Hence i hve to escalate this to the highest level, so that atleast i can get justice there. People can't play with others hard earn money and intimidate them and get away with him hoping nobody will complain or even if somebody complains he has a nsm to defend him. Thats the sorry state of affairs in the company. The sad part of this entire episode is nobody has looked at it from a humanitarian angle. Can companies who overlook the human angle continue to prosper and flourish. Are people so blind in making money that they will do it by whichever means right or wrong and the top management will support them.

What good is a company if it is on top of the charts in the stock market in terms of market capitalisation but has zero concern for ethics values, corporate governance and customer grievances. I still have hope in getting justice and hence this mail.

Vicky veers manager is kunal and nsm is francis jobai. Despite highlighting it to francis he is taken no action.
