Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that my meter reading was recorded wrongly that results in wrong amount in the bill.
Below are the recently paid bills:
11/11/2016, Amount paid : 338INR, Receipt : [protected]
12/12/2016, Amount paid : 473 INR, Receipt : [protected]
14/01/2017, Amount paid : 455 INR, Receipt : [protected]
10/02/2017, Amount paid : 750 INR, Receipt : [protected] ( I paid this amount when I wasn't even at home for the month and power consumption was very minimal at the beginning of the month)
22/03/2017, Amount paid : 997 INR, Receipt : [protected] ( I had serious doubts about this bill amount, but still I paid it )
And now, for the latest bill from 08/03/2017-08/04/2017, the amount is 1476 INR. How is it possible that the bill amount is increasing gradually each month? I live in a rented house. There's no such heavy electronic equipments here. Only regular Lights and Fan. And as per the present bill, it shows that my power consumption is 247 units. There is a serious fault either in the meter or in the billing system of BESCOM. Also I wonder, why does my bill show arrears of 78.74 INR.
Could you please look in to this matter at the earliest? Thank you.
