I am a resident of K G colony, G M Palya, Bangalore 560075
I here by would like to request you to set up a bus stop between BEML MAIN GATE and G M PALYA bus stop. In the stretch between the above mentioned bus stops there are a lot of residents who find it difficult to get into the buses due to the longer distance between the two bus stops. So a bus stop in between the about two mentioned bus stops will be convenient to many residents . This is a humble request

    Today i was travelling by bmtc bus from veerasandra to chandapura.
    When i produced my aadhaar card for getting my concession eligible for senior citizens the conductor denied it. Moreover he behaved in a rude manner. The details of my bus ticket is furnished below

    Tknno 10147. Kindly give necessary directions to the concerned to give directions to bmtc bus conductors to accept aadhaar card for senior citizen concession. More over this particular conductor may be warned for his rude behaviour.

    The regional transport office had curbed the illegal operation of busses but due to local Honda and bribery they have allowed the private buses to operate and in return they will receive the bribe once in a month from all illegal bus operation

      Yesterday (18/11/2016 time: around 8.30 pm) i was travelling from bommanahalli to silk board in bmtc and because of more rush i could not take the ticket and in next stop rupena agrahara i caught by ticket checker and i have paid rs.200/- as fine.

      Now the thing is they started shouting at me in vulgar language which i can't mention those words here. Even though i was ready to pay the fine still why they shouted in such a vulgar language, who gave the rights to them to do that. They have collected my wallet and id card of my company till i pay the fine. And one more thing in fine receipt they have mentioned that i have got into bus in hebbagodi which is completely wrong. And the ticket checker given me the carbon copy and not the original copy.

On Marathalli signal while taking left (with proper traffic light signal and turn indicator on), Bus Number KA01F4733 overtook me from left side and started changing lane towards right. There was another vehicle to my right because of which I could not move my car towards my right and got a big scratch on my new car.           I was travelling from mahadeva pura to new horizon college. I had given rs 100/- to the conductor and the ticket was worth rs 48/-, and the conductor as usual did not return the change immediately. But i had not seen that he wrote only rs 2/- on the ticket back. When i was about to get down, when i asked for change, he returned only rs 2/- and he argued that i had given only rs 50/- and he did not give back the change at all.

            Yesterday around 2pm or so, after availing treatment at Manipal hospital old airport road i boarded Volvo route 335 at Manipal Hospital Signal. The Conductor was seated in his designated place and I stated that i wanted to get off at Domlur bus stand, took a seat, searched for Rs.10/- in my wallet and held it in my hand to buy the ticket. Perhaps Conductor wanted to issue tickets when more passengers got in at Kodihalli. At Kodihalli 2 Ticket Checkers got in and i was not allowed to either buy my ticket or get off at my destination stop.

            The lady ticket checker demanded a Fine for ticketless travel. I refused saying that i had the money in my hand and i was waiting for the Conductor to come to me. Else i would have purchased the ticket after disembarking. I told her i have never travelled ticketless. The male ticket checker intervened and said that i should have stood in front of the Conductor taken my ticket and then sat down. How am I supposed to search for money in my bag with a bandaged hand and balance myself in a moving Volvo or any bus for that matter.

            When i refused to pay they have threatened to take me to the town hall police stn. I did not back down as it was in no way my fault.

            A Co passenger seated next to me tried to explain to the TCs that the Conductor had yet to come up to me and that i had the money for the ticket in my hand. They have quarreled with her and threatened to take her to the police station. Whilst telling her that she should be able to read Kannada as this was Karnataka.

            Another Co passenger tried to explain to them that i was yet to buy the ticket and the conductor had yet to come to me to complete the transaction. The male TC has quarreled with him and taken him for no apparent reason to the town hall police station. I was allowed to buy a ticket just before the TCs disembarked at town hall police station just a few minutes before 2.25 pm.

            Tell me sir, passengers are allowed to sit in available seats or stand whilst holding on to support away from the Driver's bay or bus doors before searching for the money and buying tickets right. The conductor's duty is to come up to the passenger and ensure that the ticket is purchased.

            I was not evading buying a ticket so how can the TC demand fine? And quarrel with me and other passengers?

            their conduct and behaviour with me had become a prestige issue as I didnot pay the fine and 2 passengers came to my rescue.

            BMTC is doing a great deal to continuously improve its services. Therefore you cannot allow TCs to bully passengers and misbehave with them. This will tarnish the Corporation's image.

            More customer oriented training should be given to the staff.

This is to inform u that there is no 335 volvo route in bmtc so pl provide the vehicle no to take action .Whenever cheking staff boarded the bus passenger should have valid ticket or pass otherwise they impose penalty on the ticket less/pass less passengers.and it is the duty of the conductor to issue the ticket further passengers are requested to demand the ticket from the conductor immediately on boarding the bus.

            I boarded a bus from domlur to sony signal around 5.15pm on 29th sept 17 and as soon as i got sit i took out 15rs to pay the fare and buy my ticket. But the conductor didn't see me and went back to provide tickets. Despite of calling him again and again he didn't respond.Meanwhile 2 police boarded the bus from egl for checking and asked me for tickets.I told them the situation but then the conductor suddenly started accussing me that i told him that i am carrying pass. My question is if someone tells you that they have pass how can you believe them without checking it. Just because of him i was harrassed in the public by both the police officer and conductor and was asked to pay 200. People sitting beside me they knew the truth but still they chose to keep quiet. What the hell has happened to us. If someone is harassed in public atleast take a stand. I never travel ticketless but this was the worst experience in my life. Why we have to suffer because of this stupid conductors.

                Hi this is veena.
                I travel everyday from hennur depot to channasandra to my office.
                Today I got into the bus, I have attached a copy of my ticket here, and gave him ₹14/- to get the ticket, but he took only 10 RS and went to issue the ticket in the back, and he he did give a ticket for me. So I waited after he came handover him the change and asked for the ticket but he refused to take that amount and said that I have not given him any amount. I explained and even CO passengers Also informed that I have given and then he started arguing lke mad and scolding us all. He was using bad words on all. Is this the way a conductor behaves. If so how can a women passengers can commute. Is this kind of people that they r recruit. If bmtc doesn't take any action, all women passengers will be in trouble.

                    After I got into the Volvo bus at 7:30 pm, I got a seat at marathahalli after a lady got off the bus. This was the first row Single seat. A while later the conductor started threatening that I should not sit there it is his seat and I must get off... Speaking I'll of my behavior education... I told him this is the first time I'm being told that passenger should not sit on the first seat.. He was Grumbling all through... Staring etc.. Once another seat got vacant I moved to the other seat on Humanitarian grounds.
                    I think the staff need to be trained properly additionally they cannot threaten a woman in the bus.

                    The conductor had not worn an identification batch too.

                      Hi,

                      I commute from Nagwara to Ecospace every day in BMTC Volvo buses.
                      I boarded this same bus 3 times and the behavior of this conductor was rude. Every day they hold the change and will not give us back until we ask for it or there will be 5 Rs pending all the time (Airport Volvo, Vajra are too good as they ask back whoever wants the change back). Really sad to inform you that the guys in private bus are better than the Volvo conductors. When BMTC started Volvo service how good it was and the way they behave to customers. Now everything changed and they target especially people from IT organizations thinking they earn more. I gave 100 Rs and he wrote 25 back side of the ticket. I informed that I got change and can render, still he said he will give while getting down. I saw one passenger near to me giving him change or 20 Rs in 1 rupee coin. Still while getting down he said he do not have 25 rs to give back and he abused me giving 10 Rs asking back the change.

                        On 25 oct 2016, i boarded bus no. ka -01-f4908 from kalyan nagar, around 10.30 to manyata. i gave conductor (100 + 2rs coins) for tickect of 12 rupees. conductor returned me 2 rupees coin. i asked for ticket, he said its fine as it shorter distance. when i asked again for ticket, conductor asked me to get down from bus. i got down and walked to the nearest stop and catched another bus.

                        The behavior of conductor was rude, i request bmtc to take appropriate action against such ppl.

                            I have a very bad experience day by day travelling with Bangalore BMTC Volvo bus. Most of the BMTC conductor in Bangalore are manner less and cheater . They talk very rude apart from cheating. This morning a lady conductor did not return the change though she have it and best part is she took the ticket and tore it . My stop is in Vydehi and I asked the change in IGATE stop. She also said she will give when Vydehi stop reach. While getting down I asked, she said I have given to one lady you take it from her, which lady ? i don't know. I asked the change, With a surprise this Lady conductor told I dont have your money and you go complain if you want to waste your time. May be she is right, this is not the first time I am complaining about BMTC bus, and no action has been taken, its really bitter to know you live in a country that promote corruption, its because of the BMTC Bangalore that this culprit are encouraging day by day to cheat people.

                              Bus no: ka 01 fa 2148 bus start in shivaji nagar at 6.25pm on 25 oct 2016, in two seats we sit three members we all are friends we adjust and sit but conductor misbehaviour and he stop the bus and asked me to get down the bus. if bus heavy rush we adjust and sit we travel in bus last 1 year in bangalore no body told like this but today conductor behave like this so please do needful and also small clarification.
                              In 2 seater 3 members we all are friends can adjust and sit or not? please intimate me

                                Dear sir,

                                I am daily traveler for hebbal to jp morgan. Sir in this route am traveling since 10 months i am feeling very irritation to travel in mainly 500 d series dept 28 buses. Sir manyatha,, nagawara, kalyan nagar, ramurthy nagar bridge, tin factory and again in kr puram railway station they will stop 5 to 8 minutes. 75% all volvo buses of dept 28 and few of the buses of dept 25 buses will be doing this. Especially in the kr puram railway station untill train comes they will wait. One day one bus came to kr puram railway station at 8:32 am and train came at 8:46 am after that by 8: 51 am they left from railway station stop. If we ask driver and conductor some of them they will scold us using some bad words. Especially from dept 28 one driver will come he is late he will not take bus before 5 min in each stops. One day we are around 8 people asked him he said you can get down from the bus he is telling. We are not feeling like it is "public transportation", they will behave like there own way. If some traffic inspectors asked them to move also they scold the traffic inspectors itself. If any bus came and over take them means again 5 min they will wait sir. Sir regarding this we complaint so many times to dept manager 28 he taking serious. We complaint so many time we collected and gave the bus numbers also even though there is know use.

                                Actually hebbal route they will be a more traffic also because of that we are starting early also due to this kind of behavior of driver and conductor we are facing lot of problem sir.

                                Before that i used to travel from 500 ca, 335, from the buses of dept 13, dept 25, dept mejestic (7) and kadugodi dept never faced this kind of problems 2 years i traveled in this buses never felt like this before. Here last from 10 months itself we feeling some kind of irritation.

                                  I am Divakar. Today (24th October, 2016) I had on boarded into a BMTC bus at Tin factory and took a ticket for silk board. I gave Rs.30 since I did not have Rs.23 (actual charge) and the conductor wrote Rs. 7 in the backside of the ticket.

                                  When HSR Layout stop was crossed, I had approached him to get Rs.7 but he told me that he can give only at the last stop even though he was having change.

                                  After reaching silk board, approached him to get the balance money. He gave only Rs. 5. When I asked remaining Rs.2, he pushed me back. I did not except this rude behavior from a Government staff.

                                  Though he had Rs.2 change, denied to give and openly told he cannot give it. I had told him that I would raise a complaint and he dared to raise it.

                                  I told him that I am recording the video and dared him to tell that he cannot give the change, but he remained silent.

                                  I have faced lot of issues to get the balance in the past while commuting between tin factory and Silk board and today has gone to the extreme.


                                  I have attached the Bus ticket, Conductor Photo and video recording. I am requesting the concerned departments to initiate an enquiry and take corrective actions to stop such atrocities.

                                  Note: After reaching Silk board, Driver got down and conductor went to Driver seat.

                                    Today (21st oct) i took bmtc bus from laksandra bus stop to christ college as i was not having rs 5 change so i gave him rs 10, the conductor took the amount and he did not gave me the ticket (His intention was to keep the amount with him only), again i asked for the ticket then then he told something in kannada and he gave me the ticket from 7th cross wilson garden to muneshwara devasthana (Pfa) and was asking for more rs 2. When i told him that for one stop the charge should be only rs 5 only the he started shouting on me in kannada. It was a very bad experience with bmtc. The conductor behavior was very rude and he use to cheat the passenger and bmtc also. Its not about my extra rs 7 but this is just to bring this to ur notice that how the passenger are facing problem just because o[censored]r corrupt conductor who are willing to keep the fare with them without giving the tickets which will directly go to his pocket. Hope some action will will be taken against him.

                                      Respected sir,
                                      I am Srilakshmi and I want to lodge complaint against conductor of bmtc bus number KA01 FA-1122 who rudely behaved with me.
                                      This incident happened on 24th of September 2016. I was travelling from tinfactory to silkboard. I got into bus at tinfactory. Conductor passed by me when I called him to issue ticket. He didn't listen to me as he was taking to the driver while he walked through. He came to me when I called him again. Then he started scolding me and takes to me in a rude manner. I said him that I called him but he didn't listen. He got angry and started talking without any respect.
                                      I request to tell the conductors to give respect to women. To respect their passengers. When we are giving respect to them, we expect at least little respect from them. Atleast they should not talk to us in singular tense.
                                      My humble request to all conductors to talk in a mannered way with women. Remember you also have women at your home. How might you feel when someone talks arrogantly with them.

                                        I would like to bring to your notice the circulation of fake notes via BMTC bus conductors.

                                        Today is not the first time. But I would like to mention this incident as now it is too much to take.

                                        I boarded a 356CW bus from Roopen Agrahara to Electronic city via flyover to SBI stop today(21-Sep-2016, 11.30AM) Ticket no: KT 18 786874.
                                        I gave 30 rupees for a ticket of 25 rupees. The conductor gave me a fake 5 rupee note, when I asked for a different one, he said “That passenger gave me, I am giving you”.
                                        And he went away. Initially I thought he didn’t have any change with him. Later noticed a lot of passengers gave him 5 rupees change. But he didn’t bother to give me.

                                        Before getting down I requested him to give a different note as no one would accept it if I gave. To which he started speaking loudly and again said “I didn’t get it on my own, the passenger gave I gave to another passenger.” And though he had change he forced me to keep the fake note. I gave it back to him as it is of no use to me and got down the bus. So I paid 30 rupees where I should have paid 25.

                                        If a passenger hands a fake note, the conductor could ask for a different one. There is no need to circulate fake notes. Even previously a conductor gave a note with a completely crooked print on it. Even a kid could say it is fake. He said take it or leave it.

                                        Does this mean each time we don’t have change we have to pay more?
                                        I hope you look into this and take required action.

                                        Conductors in BMTC are not accepting ID cards like PAN CARD, AADHAR CARD etc which bears proof of age for claiming senior citizen concession. Please update list of documents to all operating staff and publish the same in all bus stops.
