    Hi, I was travelling from Agara to Brookefield on Bus No. 500CA KA 57 F 1279 at around 7:45-8:00 am on 16th April 2015 . The passengers were standing in the Bus but the conductor insisted on sitting on his seat and made me get up from the seat inspite of telling him that I had a medical condition and required to sit . On telling him this he started yelling and abusing me .He kept saying go to the Depo and complain .It was frightening and not appropriate behavior with a lady . I have taken his picture as he was not wearing a badge on duty . Please let me know if there will be any action taken against the bus conductor for his bad behavior . Best Regards Judy

      I was coming from sarjapur wipro technologies stop to st. johns stop around 7'0 clock evening.I took ticket for two persons and it was 38 rupees so I gave 40 and asked for 2 rupees change.He replied like st.johns is far so i will give you there though he had changes at that particular time.Again near koramangala water tank stop i asked for my changes and he got angry and scolded. Its not about 1 or 2 rupees changes ..its my money so i should ask. behaviour matters. he was expecting that money will go to his pocket and i should not ask for that.

        Bus number KA 01 FA 1953 Today 15 April 2015 near 5pm from Ecospace Bellandur to Sarjapur Signal ORR Lady conductor issued ticket of 20/- I gave Rs.500 and she returned only 430/- 50/- still pending. Ticket no. M17 548059 I still have the ticket with me Also she made foul comments and said shut up twice when i said 50 pending.             I took a Bus from, Bus No : 250B. Veh No - KA01 F2393, Boarded from : Vishweshwaraiah layout 5th Cross Alighted : Jalahalli Cross. The Fare for the said distance is 12Rs. I did not have exact change, when I asked him to take 20 and return the change his response was just get down. I somehow managed a 5Rs Coin and gave him and he returned only 2 rs, while he should have returned 3. I had already taken the ticket and when I asked for the remaining change he asked me to return the ticket and get down from the bus shouting at me in his native language. When I replied to him in English : "Do not misbehave" he started shouting even further highlighting something about my talking in englsh to fellow passengers. It was almost public humiliation along with Harassment for having asked rightfully for the change and asking him to not misbehave. I hoe this case is dealt with and saves the other fellow passengers who travel on this route in future.

              We are facing lot of issues from bus conductors, they are not giving the change and if we ask they are not bothering for Ex: i traveled from B Narayanapura to Dhevarabisanalli (Intel Stop) the ticket is Rs.19 but they not giving 1 Rs back and at end of journey they asking ticket back and every day we are facing same issue. Not only this if our travel journey is within one stop, they are not at all giving ticket, they will just collect the money.but no response from there end. they are for the people but they are not following it.please kindly take proper action on this.not only me lot of people l are facing this issue.                 I board route ORCA-02 bus from Jakssandra to Whitefield (Kalyani Platina). The conductor asked me to come at Jakssandra Bus Stop for morning pickup. I agreed on it though its too far to reach there by walk and I have to take a three-wheeler (auto). Though in evenings when returning from office no other person gets down at the same place so I ask him to drop me a little further on 100 feet road at signal. He was very poor and rude in his talk and with authority told me that we won't stop. He also asked the DRIVER to do the same. He did this in a scolding and authoritative fashion. Please look into the behavior of this conductor. People like these are spoiling Software and Knowledge culture of Bangalore. Sanjeev Ranot

                  I was driving near Marathahalli junction around 11:00 AM today and suddenly the Driver of BMTC Regn. No. KA 01-F-2770 came from left side and intentionally brushed my car's left side causing damage. The side has red paint from the bus. After I came out of my car and asked him about it he started abusing me thinking a lady driver will get intimidated. when i asked him to stop at next traffic police booth, he threatened me saying he will crush the car i am driving. i tried talking to the inspector present at the traffic booth and he suggested that we go to nearest traffic chowki but the driver just fled with the bus. How can the government bus service which is there for the service of public threaten to crush other civilians and still get away with it. Not only was his behaviour uncivilized but threatening to crush the car is actually a criminal offence. i as a female feel threantened in my own city due to this rowdy like behaviour from BMTC bus driver. My question is do we even have any authorized department who actually can make the driver's accountable for their act? Or if at all any repercussion for their unruly behavior against the law abiding citizen of Bangalore? Lastly who will bear the cost of damages to my car?

                    BMTC Conductor did not give my balance amount

The bus conductor was asked me ticket amount i gave 100 rs and i told him clearly orry sir I don't have exact change for that he was stopped the bus and asked me to get down from the bus i told him sorry sir i will not do then he taken money from me(100 rs) and gave ticket(19 rs) again i asked for this distance ticket...

                    Bus No - KA -45, F636. I had catched the K-4 bus(Chandra Layout Depo) in corporation today at 88.8.30 pm. Firstly they had changed the roout nenearnear Rayancricle suddenly. I requested both driver and conductor to provide the stop in new bus stop petrol pump, located in between mysore road tolget and Satellite. But they refused and started speascolding in bad language for me. Kindly request to take necessary action on them and request you to inform every depo drives to provide stop in new bus stops on every location. Regards, Vinutha

                      This complaint is about the government bus operations (rules) and operators, in Bangalore City, Karnataka. Bus Pass system is to ensure a single person travel with one pass. However system makes it difficult and unnecessary demand to people make a identity card for monthly passes. When one have a driving license, voter id, adhaar card etc so many govt. identity cards along, there isn't any new identity card necessary for taking monthly passes. Secondly for daily passes, it been enforced commuters to sign on the passes. The sole concern should be a single person travels by a single pass. What does one ensure by asking a person so sign in a pass? Has this been not enough, there is now another stupidity going on, the conductor now forcing people to write important information as government id card number on passes. Why? My only fear is this will further push a innocent person into the risk and turmoils of criminal prosecution as one's pass being found in a crime scene would make a person suspect, whether or not he/she is in it?

                        today morning around 9am I catch the bus from k.r market as I entered in to bus it ws just looking like its a luggage bus full of only bags only you can't stand its horrible and the people where sitting on that vegetable bags. I ask about that to conductor he is started shooting on me saying who I'm to as about this Bus no. KA -01 FA-116 Specifically our bmtc conductor are very rude and rash there behaviour is just can't imagine.

                          Bus number:ka57 f 1349. Incident: 27th march 2015 @10.15am Location: Karthik nagar bus stop. Outer ring road. The Volvo bus drivers riding very rashly. When the driver knew there is bus stop ahead he should drive to the left. this volvo drivers was at right and when he saw some one calling volvo at left near bus stop he suddenly turned left. Though he saw I was at left he kept on pushing me towards foot path. and the bus slightly touched my Two wheeler also. When I shouted then he halted. Then when i started scolding him instead of admitting his mistake he came further and my leg got caught between the bus and my two wheeler. He started arguing there is bus stop why I am overtaking from left. If the bus is right even near bus stop driving at 20-30km from where should other overtake. When my leg was still caught between the vehicles, the driver comes down and says shut ur cock and go else i will ramp the vehicle and break your leg you will be hospitalized for 6 month. Should the public now ride with the fear of Volvo buses. The conductor was very good he sorted the things. I request you to please take strict action on the Driver. They are doing rowdyism on the road. The power and the flexibilty of the Volvo bus is misused by doing Rash driving. Please take strick action so that its a lesson for other and save the public. Ignoring it is your choice but this may happen to you or your family some day. Think before its too late

                            Bus Route No : 500C Bus Route : ITPL To Banshankari Dated: 19.03.2015 Boarding point: Silk Board Destination point: Mico Layout My wife boarded the 500C bus from silk baord and the bus was jam packed, she got a seat at the back side.The conductor didnt came backside for collecting ticket. After crossing udipi garden she got up from her seat and searched for the conductor, having Rs 20 exactly ticket price in her hand. At that time the two gents ticket checker was there in the bus checking tickets. When my wife was about to pay money to the conductor for the ticket then the ticket checker asked her to pay fine of Rs 500 without any mistake of her.They dont let her take the ticket and started shouting why she didnt have ticket. The gents checker was so rude, misbehaved with my wife and even pulled her bag, they didn't hear to her as well.Though the commuters watched my wife was trying to take ticket and realised it was the mistake of conductor indeed supported her but it was all in vain. Ticket checking people ignored the voice of the commuter and asked her to pay the fine. They didn't allow her to get down from the bus at Mico Layout Bus stop and didn't stop the bus.Then she called me and started crying as she was helpless and no one was listening to her.After that I have to left office and chased the bus for 2-3 kms and rescued my wife giving Rs 500 without any receipt and after having a hot discussion with the ticket checker and conductor. It was not about Rs 500 to pay, but why we have to pay when we are not commiting any mistake. Its the duty of the conductors to visit inside the bus and collect the ticket. And the checkers didn't even undrstand whats the problem, they were corrupted and in a joint venture with conductors they are harassing travellers and looting them. And how come a gents checker pulled a lady?Ther should be a lady checker.I dont have the bus no. or the conductor and checker name, otherwise i have lodged a complaint against them. So I want BMTC to Inform all the conductors and checkers to do their duty properly then no one will suffer like this. And BMTC management should monitor the checkers also. Shame of BMTC!!!                               This happened to me today morning, i had board the bus at Kudlugate Bus-stop, and wanted to go to Electronic - city, i am routine traveller to Electronic- city, since, my office is located there, I asked for ticket to Electronic- city, the conductor gave me ticket of Rs.17/-, i opened my purse to give the money and found only Rs.6/- since i had forgotten to draw money from ATM, Then i requested conductor to take back the ticket of Rs.17/- and give ticket for next stop, the conductor took the opportunity of this and started scolding me saying that since he has teared the ticket he cannot take back the ticket and I have to pay him money at any cost, As though he is a sincere and prompt person he acted in such a way, but that man what he did is he took Rs.6/- from me and did not give the ticket for one stop and also he took back that Rs.17/- ticket also, and made me to get down in next stop, Ultimate is this man Made money of total Rs. 6/- + Rs.17/- and made use of opportunity of harassing and assaulting. And, also in the evening from Electronic- City to Bommanahalli, the ticket charge is Rs.19/-, if we give them Rs.20/- the Rs.1/- change is not returned in a month more than 20 days, if this conductors mean for each rupee also then they should also give back the changes received from the people, they will tell that they will give back at the time when our destination comes, and when we are about to get down and ask for the change they go and hide themselves, but also use abusive language to give back our change.almost 99% of the conductors are of same.                                   This is to inform you that, three weeks back I have given complaint letter to Yeshwanthpur BMTC division personally met with the Head of the department and discussed issue.

                                  Our BMTC bus Depo comes under Puttenahalli-30 and the bus number is 266G, KA-01 FA-727 (Morning this bus starts from Muthugadahalli to Market). This bus starts exactly at 4.30am early morning from Muthugadahalli village (Halt bus). Only one passenger will be there from that place and later they drive very vastly till Lakshmipura cross and stops there. Next they will get passengers in MS Palya and it goes to KR Market.

                                  I stay in Muthugadahalli grama, We moved from Vidyaranyapura to Muthugadahalli to our residence two months back. I work and travel to Marathahalli daily (40kmone way). First month, when I checked with people there, I have walked till Shivakote around 4.40am to 5.15amwaiting for BMTC buses but till 5.40am, we don’t have any buses from Shivakote Circle neither buses comes from Hesaraghatta, Mathkur, Madhugiri Halli nor Shivakote Halt bus. Many will start early morning who are working but Buses are not available between 5.00am to 5.40am. Why?? Later I came to know that 266G bus starts at 4.30am and it moves out to MS Palya by 4.50am.Few times I enquired with the Driver Shiva and Conductor Umashanker directly in the evening when I got the bus. They both told Bus will start in the morning 4.30am only due to bus fare collection who goes to Market from Lakshmipura and MS Palya etc, if the bus move later 4.40am passengers will catch another bus it seems so they leave early morning.

                                  My question is, the buses have been allocated for respective village people and for safety purpose. There in Muthugadahalli grama, if we miss this bus, there isn't any street light still we reach Sivakote (2km), we need to walk till Sivakote and wait for alternate buses. Many women workers, college students walks all the time and early morning I walked for a month in dark, it is question of public Safety specially for women. The drivers and conductors speak about collection and money and least bother of safety for women in early morning and evening. They don’t give respect while speaking and very rude behavior with Public.

                                  Request you to take action immediately and I will be visiting Yeshwanthpur division this weekend:

                                  1) 266G bus: We from village request to start at 5.10am instead of4.30am since many public walk from the village for two km to Shivakote.

                                  2) Please remove or move out from the route, driver and conductor by name Shiva and Umashanker whose behavior is very rudely with public and almost all public argues with them. They don’t stop to pick public and never follow the timings and trips allocated till date.

                                  3) I have observed from past two months, the bus starts at 4.30am and Will be the catching that bus in Muthugadahalli village till Gangamma circle.

                                  4) When I checked with driver and conductor about next trip of 266G, they say at 7.15am they come to Muthugadahalli since school students and few regular ladies will be there. They come second trip around 7.15am I heard.

                                  5) Later when I checked with village people, the say they won’t see this bus coming to Muthugadahalli and no timings or them.

                                  6) Once I got this bus in MS Palya around 5.45pm evening, I was surprise to see our bus, when I was about to get into the bus the conductor and driver said that bus goes till Lakshmipura crossonly, when I checked why and it is Muthugadahalli bus?? They told it is too late to reach due to traffic jam so they wanted to return at the earliest.

                                  7) I got down and waiting for another bus which goes towards Shivakote.

                                  8) Please have an inspection immediately about the trips of 266G, hardly they come to last stop. I have checked the file in Yeshwanthpur dept. They have many trips, why they are Skipping the trips and where they go in-between or after 7.30am till evening the buses are not available. Some Public said that they go and stop some places and take rest or sleep.

                                  9) All the buses which starts with266 series which goes to Shivakote via other villages for e.g. 266E (Madhugirihalli), 272 (Mathkur), 266K (Mylappanahalli), 266H (Shivakote), 266B (No idea which oute), 253 (Hesaraghatta to Shivakote) and yes Long route bus 407 (Yelahankavia MS Palya via Shivakote via Hesaraghatta to Nelamanagala).

                                  10) No buses are following the timing still date. Public are dependent on these buses who travel to their residence and who all are working and students.

                                  11) Buses are not available between:Morning 5.00am to 5.40am, 9.00am to 10.45am, Noon 12.30pm to 2.00pm, Only 407 bus we can see sometimes but what about 266 series, from 2.00pm to 4pm, evening 5.15pm to 6.10pm and later8.00pm to 10.00pm.

                                  12) I regularly wait for the bus from5.30pm in Gangamma circle or MS Palya, I don’t see any buses available from 5.30pm till 6.15pm which is peak hours for working people and students. Till yesterday I did n’t any buses before6.15pm. Only after 6.15pm Hesarghatta bus comes which will be too crowd and the driver will be shouting at public and ladies to go back or he will ask them to get down etc. Then Madhugiri bus comes later. The rest of the buses are not seen, Has the BMTC allotted for other routes for rest of the buses or what else.

                                  13) Public require buses in the morning 5.00am to 9.00am continuously who goes regularly and evening between 5.15pm to9.00pm. Who depends on the public transport.

                                  14) Instruct drivers and conductors to behave indecent manner and who already has monthly pass, they speak rudely. If they can’t control their patience, let them resign and stay back at home. Specially with women and girls, ask them to speak properly and let them be silent. The buses will be moving, drivers and conductors want them to get down or get into the buses immediately. Let the driver stop the bus so that they won’t be any harm to anyone.

                                  15) Drivers and Conductors gives the reason, when we check with them why the buses was late, due to traffic jam, they were late or they will go back in half way to their depo.

                                  16) Check for 266H Shivakote bus, why it is not available in the most of the time.

                                  17) Request BMTC to display the trips timings to the route Shivakote bus stand, Muthugadahalli bus stop, Mathkur bus stop, Mylappanahalli bus stop, Madhugiri Halli but stop and MS Palya. Shivakote is the main circle for all these buses. Please prepare a trip chart and buses available to these areas and fix in the BUS STAND. Which helps public to check the timings and bus numbers so that bus drivers will be alert in timings instead giving reason of traffic jam and others
                                  .
                                  18) Instruct the driver to stop in between 2kms to 5kms, if they see any public walking towards the main bus stop. Buses are there for public not for animals.


                                  Hopefully BMTC department will take immediate action as requested above and where it will be helpful for public and specially for women, girls students etc. Safety is important for public and everyone wants to start early and reach home early with safe unless the government provides public transport for villages.

                                    This was to cite my worst experience today with BMTC conductor. I just got into the bus at around 8:15 pm near Binnamangala signal and had to get down two steps down near 6th Main. Conductor was asking for 12 rs which was the right fare. Then I said I will get down at KFC which is very next stop and paid 5 Rs.The conductor started using some abusive language and was shouting at me telling that I was oversmart. I just ignored his comments and insisted him for the minimum fare for the very next stop. He was forcing me out from the bus in the nearby signal and was using all bad words in front of other fellow copassengers. The whole point was the approach and behavior shown by the conductor and not about anything else. He was taking something very personally and started shouting at me. Who gave the rights to him to decide where I need to get down? As far as I understand their duty is to collect the right fare for the right stage and provide an environment which is conducive to commute...Shame on that guy who tampers the brand BMTC...

                                      The bus 500CA does not operate as per the details given by BMTC. I was waiting at the ITPL bus stop from 7PM to 8PM. Not even one 500CA came in this period. Multiple 500CA buses were going in the opposite direction. These buses are changing the route number to 500NA and coming to ITPL. This is peak hour and the frequency of this bus should be more at this time rather than at 4 PM to 5 PM. This is a very serious problem for the commuters on regular basis. Kindly address this issue immediately.
