From silk board to itpl
Bus reached at silk board stop at 8.30 am ist, waited for 5 minutes.

Then, bus took service road from hsr apartments to bda without even predicting the service road is blocked and again took a reverse/wrong route & wasted out 30 minutes over there. Inpsite the main road is without any traffice. Total time taken was 30 mns from silk board to hsr bda stop.

Then the bus stops at every bus stop atleast for 2 minutes. The bus reached to itpl at 10.45 am only. More than 2 huors from silk board, which is a long time.

The volvo bus pass is raised to 2, 350 rs but there is no proper a/c working in the bus or the cruisse does not even switch on /control the temperature

Respected sir, I would like to bring to your notice that the 60 and 77 series buses are to crowded as the frequency of these buses is lesser than the number of people traveling in them. There are many people traveling in these buses mostly students. The male bus conductor keeps moving from one end to other end issuing tickets and his movement from here and there again and again makes all the female very uncomfortable. So, on behalf of all the females, I request you to either employee both male and female conductors in the buses that are crowded or make a rule that the tickets must issued to the females before entering the bus. I request you to look into this matter and do the needful for us.

Hi Team I am daily BMTC traveller to my office. Every day the bus conductor expects full change to be given. Its highly not possible for me to give the change every day unless i have a printing machine at home... And having money printing machine is definitely an offense. And using passes also not useful for me as I do not utilize is fully. Well I truly understand so many commuters use BMTC service every day. And it is difficult for them also to return the change to all the passengers. I suggest BMTC to come up with a concept of smartcard which can be used just like a debit card. These option are well used in Train travels and the same should be adapted for BMTC services as well.

I travel by BMTC's KIAS 6 to commute to and from work on a daily basis, and have never had any problems - until today. The bus I took today (25/2/2015) was KIAS 6, leaving the Airport at 8.30 am. I alighted the bus at 9.30 am at Mekhri Circle, and requested the conductor for a ticket to Varthur Kodi. He informed me that since the bus was faulty (really?), they would take a detour at Kundalahalli Gate. As a result, I would have to get off there, and find my way to Varthur Kodi either via another bus or take an autorikshaw. He proceeded to issue me a ticket to Kundalahalli Gate, which cost Rs. 85, the same price as a ticket to Varthur Kodi.

On nearing Kundalahalli Gate, I am informed that the reason for this detour is that the driver and conductor don't want to 'sit in traffic' from Hope Farm to Kadugodi, which they can avoid if they travel via Kundalahalli Gate. When I insisted that they follow the correct route, and drop me off at Varthur Kodi as I had originally requested, the conductor demanded Rs. 20 - which was to be my fare from Kundalahalli Gate to Varthur Kodi! When asked for their names and IDs, they refused to give it to me.

This behaviour - creating detours at their convenience and charging extra fares - is not acceptable. I request you to look into this matter, and follow-up with me on what actions you have taken at the earliest.

          Thank you
          Hello,
I take the KIAS 6 bus routinely to commute to and from work. I have never had any issues until Wednesday, 26/2/2015. The bus I took was the KIAS 6 bus that left the airport at 8.30 am - I alighted the bus at 9.30 am at Mekhri Circle. As always, I asked my conductor for a ticket to Varthur Kodi (Rs. 85). He informed me that since the bus was faulty, they would only go as far as Kundalahalli Gate, from where the bus would take a left towards ITPL. He told me that I would have to get off there, and either take an auto/alternate bus. He gave me a ticke to Kundalahalli Gate, which costs the same as a ticket to Varthur Kodi.

As we near Marathahalli, I am learn from the driver and conductor that the real reason they are not going along the scheduled route is that they don't want to 'sit in traffic' from Hope Farm to Kadugodi. When I insisted that the bus follow the correct route, and drop me at my desired destination, the conductor asked me for extra money. He said that I had only paid for a ride until Kundalahalli Gate - and needed to pay extra for a ride from Kundalahalli Gate to Varthur Kodi!

This is blatant harassment of passengers, and is uacceptable. Please follow up with me on what actions you have taken.

          Thanks,

          Meghna

Hello Sir, Sub : This is in reference to driver of Volvo Bus, route number 500-A with registration number KA 01 FA 1927. Time of Incident and Route - 4th Aug 2014 Monday morning (7:30AM) 500-A bus moving from Hebbal to Banashankari. The driver and the conductor were using intolerable truly vulgar languages over the people who were passing by in traffic. There were so many ladies sitting in the bus and quite a few senior citizens, the driver didn't even had the basic decency. He was also too slow in reaching the destination (Banashankari Bus Stop) and we commuters (completely helpless) could not tell me him anything due to his vulgar behaviour/language. As I mentioned it was a Monday morning and all were in a hurry to reach the office, but the driver had no concern over this even though the traffic was minimal. He took 2 hours to reach Silk Board Junction. I was planning to take a audio piece as well a video clipping of his driving and bad words usage, but denied of his erratic behaviour. I kindly request the concerned Dept to take serious action on this driver and, the conductor who was supporting him. Regards, Shiva Ram Holla

The Bus number 266R which stopped near sambhram engineering college by 1:30PM on[protected]where my parents departed) travelled to swasthik. They asked for proper destination but due to lack of dumbness of the that conductor, he listened some other destination. When my parents arrived the destination they asked for change. But this conductor abused them very badly. What the hell of situation is going on in this world. My dad is 68 years old and my mom is 63 years old. How the hell he can do it like that ? As i am staying out the country i cannot give a formal compliant about this issue. But i believe that if something is left in this country please take a necessary action against all these "Mother [censored]ing ". I am harsh and i know the pain of missing the parents for a long time. Hope website helps me.

Complaint against BMTC Bus conductor- Reg. From: anoop kr <[protected]@gmail.com> View Contact To: [protected]@gmail.com Sir, I want to lodge a complaint against a bus conductor of BMTC bus route number 201 (Bus Details: KA57 F727) running between sonysignal & BTM uddupigardan. This incident occured on 28th july 2014 around 4p.m. at sonysignal bus stand. I boarded this bus at this point and asked for the ticket to BTM uddupi gardan from bus conductor. But the conductor charged 520 Rupees instead of charging only 14 rupees. This happened because, the conductor wants me to travel for Without ticket and give him 10 rupees. When I asked for a ticket, he got angry and took nine rupees, which was not the actual charge. So, I would like to lodge a complaint against the conductor for his misbehavior towards the public & also for getting back my money. I seriously believe in KSRTC Officer(Mr.Venkatesh- Senior Traffic Officer)., which will be the sole responsible for taking against the bus conductor. I'm sure about the ticket charges, because i have been travelling between those junctions for Rs.7 for months. I would request the concerned officer to give the maximum punishment to the conductor., So that it make sure the same wouldn't happen to any Bangaloreans again. Also I would like to know the status of this issue via telephone call. Regards, jp [protected].

Today I was commuting from Murugeshpalya to Shivajinagar in bus number 330 at 8.45Am to 9AM. There was a lady conductor who issued 19 rupees ticket and after insisting she wrote return change at the backside of the ticket. When I reached Shivajinagar I asked her to return change. She told she don't have change. She is doing this daily as I faced same issue yesterday. It is not only with me but also with lot of passengers who commute in that route. She did this for more than 20 to 30 people. When behaved very rude.

G3 Buses from electronic city to brigade road, often do not follow their standard route of going via Infosys gate 6 to gate 1 and then left from the toll. Instead, to save time, they take a shortcut and take a left from Crowne plaza. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to the people commuting to the electronic city phase 1 and also to the people who wait at these stops for this G3. If they get stuck in traffic or whatever, that is not the problem of the residents of the city. The bus is supposed to follow a standard route. Few G3s go straight on the right route, few take left from the crowne plaza, leaving the commuters confused, and many have to get down there and walk another mile. BMTC should take immediate serious action against such drivers and conductors, who even after repeated requests from passengers do not follow the route.

Hi, I boarded the 411route bus at hero Honda bus stop today at 6.25 pm and paid rs 6 for ticket to kodihalli. The bus conductor pocketed the money I handed over. When I insisted on getting a ticket, he handed over 12rupees ticket and told me to pay 6rupees more. I have been regularly boarding this route bus from office every evening and am also aware that ticket charge for upto 2stops is only rs6. Another passenger boarded the bus at the next stop (domlur)and requested for a ticket to HAL and he charged her rs12. When I confronted him, saying how he can charge same amount for passenger commuting 2stops and for a passenger commuting 6stops, he got furious and forced me to pay the balance. I think the vehicle no is KA 53 F 024 ... Request you to act fittingly against such unruly anti social elements.

Conductors very frequently take a lower amount and do not issue the ticket or they take back the ticket at the end of the journey. Today when I took MF 6 at Domlur Bridge to get to Channasandra the conductor gave me 2 tickets (15 & 6). The actual ticket is Rs 19/-. When I ask him to give me the correct ticket he gives me the explanation that he will return 3 Rs and take back the tickets at the end of the journey and that the ticket for Rs 19/- is 'over', whatever hell that means!!! Being a girl and not very fluent in Kannada, I dont think arguing with the conductor and creating a scene is a very feasible solution!!! Its very frustrating for people who want to abide by the law and give money to the government to enable them to provide better services to the general public to know that this money is probably just going into the pocket of the conductor. There should be a proper solution and a system in place to avoid the leakage of money like this!!!

My Destination is Athebele to Bommasandra. Vehicle No: KA -01 F- 4679.Route: From "Athebele to Banshankari" Timing :9:10 AM To complaint on the behaviour of the Conductor, refusing to provide the change, even though she have more than enough money in hand, and asking me to get down of the bus( which is still in running). When i mentioned that i really don't have the change and you can provide me, since you more than sufficient change, she started shouting and told just get out of the bus, i have to give for other commuters... i replied back, even i'm your passenger madam, so please provide me the change and i really don't have the change. still she become so rude and started shouting and using some rubbish words. so i just called to the BMTC customer care number and conveyed he information, they also asked to speak the conductor to her. so i gave to her, she is just lying saying she don't have change and i refusing to get out of the bus and also i'm shouting at her. When i continued the conversation with the officer, i told, if want i can ask other passengers to convey the actual status, they told to give her again the mobile to her. again she spoke and promises that she really don't have change and also she told, "ya will take to the nearby police station". even i told ok.(these happened from yadavanahalli - hale chandapura) After that she came to front and keep on scolding in kanada and making some comments which is really hurt. she also told that even if i get FC, no issues will take her to police station. When bommasandra stop came, i myself asked the conductor which police station madam? she replied "I don't know mush english"(in english). then i asked driver, he told it is in hebaggodi, i told fine will go. once the stop comes, she told come we will go. when i started walking with her, i have asked my neighbour seat person to come with me as a witness, so i can be supportive, but she refused saying she is already late. so i left with the conductor to the hebbagodi police station. There she told "she wants to make a complaint, saying that i didn't get the ticket". and i refuse to get out of the bus. The police officer asked me to explain what have happened: i have briefed him. then he sked the conductor, she started lying, that i really didn't have change and she spoke to the officer immediately, and my officer told to take her to policestation. and she told, "sir, let she be here, i want to carry on my duty. i'm leaving". police officer told wait, let me speak. (Really she have told 70% of the flaw statement.) and the police man asked now what you want to do to her(conductor)? she told, ya "i want to file a complaint that she travelled with out ticket from Athebele to Hebbagodi". I was shocked with her statement. Immediately, i interrupted and told, sir "I have to log a complaint on her for being irresponsible and behaving so rude with the commuter" I also told, sir i want to make a complaint on her, for not doing her duty properly and being irresponsible and shouting at me. After this statement, she was bit polite and saying see sir, how she speaks being educated... I replied, ya since i'm educated, i'm fighting for my rights and doesn't get scared and got out of bus. Then the police officer interrupted and told, see you both have to be polite and agree the mistakes. but she told, no sir let people from my department come, till then let she be here and i have to go and continue my duty" After this statement, police officer said, no, wait. and started to speak me saying " see ma, she is govt public staff, getting into such issues will impact her carrier and more over providing the change is a big issue ..." I told, ya sir, i agree her painful job and respect the. at the same time, why should she do these and not ready to accept the Truth and speak the truth to the Officers? "with both the BMTC customer care and you?" Then, he compromised and sent me and her, "saying, both the sides fault is there and there is a lesson that u should carry proper change etc...". I really want to bring this to the public notification and the authority notification. Such type of incidents really hurt and create a hurdle in many aspects. Kindly make the action on such conductors. There are conductors who really, do their duty in honest manner. i salute them at the same time.

It is noticed that on many roads the both BMTC and KSRTC buses stops for pick up of passengers immediately after the signals, thus causing traffic jams and inconvenience to the public. Even the traffic police are not bother about this and it is every minute/signal problem. Because of this even private buses stops at these juctions. Though police are present at these junction they don't bother to ease the jams, who are busy in their own activity of stopping other vehicles for their routine jobs. One can see this type of stoppage of buses on Dr. Rajkumar Road, next to Navrang theatre signal, on Goregntepalya signal to name. Will the concerned authority including traffic police look into this and instruct all the drivers not to stop buses near the signals.

I wish this complaint is taken up seriously and the needful is done. This is a complaint of Volvo bus no: KA 01 - F 9098 which runs as 500 DG in the morning from Nagavara to Kadugodi which has not stopped for me at Nagavara. The driver is highly unprofessional and have done this the 3rd time and hence found it necessary to bring it to your notice. Volvo buses are highly charged, and is this the service that we can expect from them?
Because of one or two of these kind of irresponsible drivers it sure gives the whole community a black mark, can I request this to be taken up with the concerned please? Thank you
