Chamber Block on 35th Main BTM L/O Dollar Colony is affecting sanitary line at no.23 & reverse flow of sewage water has broken through sanitary lines & causing inconvenience + HEALTH hazard.
I have personally complained at BWSSB office, Water Tank BTM 2nd Stage. A chamber cleaning Truck did come over. They said unless the main line on 3rd cross is cleared they cannot open our 35th Main chamber. They tried to clear the line on 3rd cross for over an hour. But the sewage would not budge.Last 4 days they have shifted their operations to near HSR L/O stating unless sewage moves from there the line on 3rd cross BTM 1st Stage Dollar Colony will not clear & only then 35th Main Dollar Colony can be attended to. We started precautionary civil works from Monday 23.4.18 to avoid last year's catastrophic mess & discovered that the chamber line was blocked with hardened sludge & Reverse flow of sewage water had already breached the sanitary line in our home & creating its line of least resistance & flowing. KINDLY CONSIDER AS PRIORITY & ACT before any serious damage is done. We have Dialysis, Diabetes & Stroke patients around 80yrs staying at no.23, 35th Main Dollar Colony. Please lend a helping hand .

Btm dollars colony 35th main. Manhole is full and overflowing with repeated complaints there is no proper response or action. The drain waters have started flowing under the buildings..
Bwssb have assessed the situation and have said that unless the main drains are cleared there is very little support they can provide. As a result they refuse to open the manhole and resolve the complaints and concerns from the neighbourhood. We have spent days following up and now our residential homes are under threat of being inundated by the drain...
The rains will make all this worse

Since last 3 weeks the road work is started, and even the drainage and gutter construction was done by bmc after that the kauveri water supply to our tap is not happening. No idea where the pipeline got opened or defective. Checked with neighbors they are getting the kauveri water supply where as to our tap its always running dry. Here are details.

Rr - w-342749, bill says s c for bore well. I do not have the bore in my home even i gone through bwssb portal and understood the meaning as s. C for bore-well. This a sanitary charge for the water consumed from the bore-well and let into the sewage lines. I am not consuming any bore water. Request you to fix the issue and correct so that from next month we will not get the same issue continues. Thanks for your understanding / co-operation....

In continuation of my previous complaint, the present meter reading says that 89, 000l of water used in one month (March 2018). My immediate neighbour has a water consumption of 27, 000l per month. Faulty meter reading showing monthly consumption of 90, 000 l of water in the last 5 months. My repeated complaints to the concerned authorities and aee has fallen on deaf ears, providing me with no satisfactory solutions. I am asked to pay the bill of 13, 000/- which has accrued over three months, before rectifying the meter or sending for testing. Please rectify the issue and waive off the excessive faulty billing.

For the kind attention of the chairman - bwssb.

I am having a suggestion for improving the revenue of bwssb. As per report there are about 55 lakhs vehicles in bengaluru. Even considering 30% vehicle owners are not using bwssb water for washing their vehicles (May be using bore well water) & 30% are commercial users having commercial meters of bwssb, the balance 40 % are using domestic use water for washing / cleaning their vehicles. Washing vehicles is not for domestic purpose. Here thousands of commercial vehicles like autos, taxis, vans, busses are using filtered water under domestic use to wash their vehicles. Drinking water, cleaning the house, taking bath, washing clothes, can be classified as domestic use. Using precious filtered water for cleaning vehicles should be taxed with a vehicle cess. If 20 lakhs vehicles consume 350 litres of filtered water per month / per vehicle, then the total consumption would be 70 crores litres of domestic water. If 3 lakhs domestic users are taxed with a small amount of rs.30 per month, then bwssb could generate a revenue of rs. 90 lakhs to 1 crore per month.

The above additional revenue can be utilised for replacing 50 year old sewage eartheren pipes with bigger dia pipes in bengaluru.

I hope the above suggestion could be given a thought and if implemented in true spirit, many improvements can be done for citizens welfare.

There is a drainage overflow in my area where the full drainage connection recently re constructed. Only for yesterday's 2 hours rain, if all the drainage in my area overflow and even drainage water enters my from the kichen pipe, then think about the rainy season. What is the use of re constructing the drainage pipes recently??
I need this to be auctioned as soon as possible.

We are not receiving water supply since one month. We tried changing new water motor and water meter but nothing worked. We are residing in austin town. All other houses situated here gets water supply except us. Please solve the issue as soon as possible and do the needful.

Dear sir, the water was coming sufficiently to our house after paying parrots charges of 2lakh of our house after new meter was installed by your bwssb. But from from past 3 months there is no water supply when i contact your office near yeshwanthpur they gave the wall man number [protected], i met him directly and asked what's the problem he told because of opening walls. Then when i gave him some bribe that day he opened the wall and water supply was good. Then after 1 month know there is no water supply to our house at all. Pps checkvmy previous bills fir your verifications. Know the wall man is not opening the wall. But next to our house both house there is a regular supply to them. But for my house from past one month there is no water supply at all. Pls check the bill for your proof.

From two months water bills are not generated on the metre readings. It is mentioned in the bill as gate closed but it's not so. Please generate a proper bill on metre basis. You are billing double as per your wish. Monthly we are getting maximum 800 rs bill. But from 2 months you are billing around rs. 1500. Please go through it. Thank you. I wish you will attend it shortly.

I'm sorry to say even with repeated complaints about sewage water flowing into the storm water drain, no action has been taken. The smell is unbearable and so is the mosquito menace resulting in sickness. Request you to pls look into the matter instead of turning the other way. Contacted person manjudiah on several occasions but no work done.

The bwssb water supply in ishaq saheb street jc nagar bangalore 6 (Ph: [protected]) is contaminated heavily with sewage water since more than 2 weeks. It's been more thn months i've been noticing water leakage near hoodi below flyover which is visible from a distance as road gets filled with fresh water.
I've noticed that few people from near by places fill there buckets with that water..
But it's a serious issue that why it is always flowing coz it's a waste of lots n lots of fresh drinking water everyday..
As we're already facing water scarcity in bangalore and wastage of lakhs of litre of water everyday makes me sad n worried about our future...
So please check n fix that issue asap and do the needful..

Few of my neighbours in sathya colony, b narayanpura, mahadevpura are wasting lot of water. Some are not turning off motors for hours of overflow of overhead tank, few wash their ground floor and vehicles almost everyday.
Please visit these places in between and identify and warn them. Bangalore is running out of water and you people knows is better than me.

There is water leakage in the road in front of our home from past one week and it is increasing each whenever there is water supply days. This is creating a reduction in water supply inside home. Kindly consider this complaint and help us out with the solution

Near Kadirenahalli circle, every two to three days once there is a leakage coming to road. Pedesteains cannot walk in this area. Vehicles riders driving in normal speed also, the sewerage water sprays on pedestrains. BWSSB people coming and rectifing the problem but it is repeating. Kindly resolve the issue properly. If is raining, will not know which water is flowing the road. Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

From last two months we are facing foul smell and filty water leakage problem because of blockage and leak in sewage line, it is right on circle and there are around 20 shops nearby lossing business cuz of smell and in rain hours it become like a pond of filth water which cuz massive trafic jam and problem to civilians
So on behalf of all us shopkeepers i request you to please look in the issue and help us open the blockage and rebuild the centre chamber
