Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board [BWSSB] Complaints & Reviews

For previous bill was generated on 02/04/2025 for the amount of ₹2250 ( due on 17/04/2025) and was paid on 06/05/2025.
But the bill generated in the month of May (02/05/2025) is ₹4148 which includes the fine/ arrears for ₹2219 including previous months bill.
Since the bill is already paid, why is it not update in the current bill

We from Mahesh pu college. Complained about drainage chamber plate problem From 1 week but dint get any response from your side. Please do the needful

Have registered compliants regarding water not coming from April 2024 multiple times but no action taken as of date.

The compliants raised as of date is BWSSB[protected], BWSSB[protected], BWSSB[protected]. BWSSB[protected].

Also, tried calling the engineer numbers mentioned on the compliants resolutions but none have received the calls and if someone received they states only coming and no action and no visits.

Sir,
BWSSB water connection pipe damaged near our house, causing water leakage flow on Road whenever water supply line is opened. It also causing inconvenience to General public using the Road specially pedestrian and vehicle movement.

Kindly resolve at the earliest and oblige

Respected Sir, There is a sewage blockage in our area Guddadahalli main road r t nagar post. This occurs frequently, and creates health issues. Kindly I request you to send the concerned team to clear the chamber blockage at the earliest. And the few people are spoiling the environment by not cleaning the waste. Kindly take the necessary action in this area so that people can be protected from the various fevers especially dengue . Kindly take a neccessary action at the earliest.

Over flowing manhole with littered road and very disturbing routine

The underground sewage drain pipe, sewage water is leaking in rain water drain. The leaking water is causing foul smell in the area around the house.
The location of the leakage is in the junction of house no 978 & 979, 3rd Cross, 6th Block, HMT Layout, Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru, 560097, Karnataka.

Open water pipe on footpath, ITPL road, near Andhra Kafe is overflowing resulting in water wastage. Please fix.

I'm residing at #49, , 15th H cross road, BNS layout, muthyalanagara mathikere, the septic tank in this road is over flowing in the road due to sewage blockage, due this sewage water is flowing back to the houses, This causes sever problem to the residents in this road, pls send some one to clean the septic/sewage tank in this road,

BWSSB has dug up the road in front of houses two months back and not yet laid a proper road yet. Half the street is done and the other half incomplete.
Senior citizens are struggling to enter and leave the house.
I am a doctor and not able to take out my car even in an emergency.
Kindly complete the work.

This is to bring to your attention of what seems to be a unresolvable issue for the BWSSB. We have three water meters, 2 of them have ECS while for the third one..even though ECS application was sent and repeated visits to office and assurances that it will get activated has failed!! Now in such a scenario how is BWSSB going to help us. Kindly respond.

BWSSB is charging us additional amount monthly for Rainwater harvesting, which is strange ..In our colony only we are getting charged on this.. They did not provide any notice on this..After we consulting BWSSB Vijaya Bank Layout, we were told to Submit Service Certificate of BESCOM, which we have submmitted.. Not sure when they will update tthis .Account ID/RR No:S10H22138.. They have charged me Rs900 how can i recover the amount, .

Hello Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring attention to the ongoing challenges we are facing with our water supply. My RR number is E-317316. Despite continuous efforts, I find it necessary to file a complaint regarding the unresponsive behavior of AE Anand Sajjan, whom I have been in contact with for over two years. Despite regular calls, our water situation has not seen any significant improvement.

As per the schedule, our locality is supposed to receive Cauvery water on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Unfortunately, we only receive water on Tuesdays, and that too for a limited two-hour period with very low pressure. Notably, our water bill has not exceeded Rs. 100 for the past couple of years. Despite numerous complaints and follow-ups with Jayaram, the chairman of BWSSB, a solution was provided by laying a separate borewell line and connecting it to our houses. However, the recent claim by the lineman that the borewell has gone dry raises concerns, which I find hard to believe.

I am requesting BWSSB to ensure an adequate water supply, with a minimum of 600 litres per household per day. Currently, it seems we are receiving only a fraction of that amount per week. The residents of our layout are becoming increasingly frustrated with the inadequate water supply. Furthermore, it is disheartening to observe excess water being supplied to Kowdenahalli, situated on the opposite side of the main road from our layout.

I sincerely hope BWSSB takes the necessary measures to distribute water more equitably among all households in our area. Your attention to this matter is highly appreciated.

I am submitting this complaint against the House owner at
Ist main road, Prakruthi Layout - 7th Cross, HBR layout, Hennur, Bangalore -560043, Classic wash Building

Person is illegally selling water in tanker lorries (24x7) from his residential borewell . This is completely draining out the entire Prakrithi Lay out - 7th cross area. None of the houses are getting ground water . Request you to kindly stay this water selling . Every day and night water is drained out from the area . Please stop this asap,

This request is regarding drainage block in our cross frequently once in 2 months at least drainage vehicle comes to clean it i asked the person who came to clean it he told drainage pipes are not placed properly so that the drainage water is not flowing correctly we need to replace it only then the issue will be solved kindly look in to this matter and help us

While linking my PID number i have specifically have taken option of rectifying the spelling mistake according to my BBMP records. Still it is not being done. Am Shamshiya Banu receiding in #37/39 7th B main road Old Gurappana Palya BTM 1st stage.We are facing Cauvery water issue from past 3 weeks like this before also we have faced the problem for 1.5 year, the Owner of this building has given the complaint in Water tank office 9th main btm layout 2nd stage and the problem had solved for past 4 months, now again back from 3 weeks same issue has started, slow supply of water in sump tank only.
Sir i kindly request you to please look into this water issue problem, and please assist me furthur what action should i take.
