Dear BWSSB Customer Service,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to follow up on a complaint that was lodged on April 18, 2023, regarding the persistent water shortage issue in our area, Swanthra Nagar, Ayyappa Nagar, Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore. Despite our best efforts, we have not received a satisfactory response or seen any improvement in the situation. The lack of water supply continues to disrupt our daily lives, and the gravity of the situation demands urgent attention.

As residents of Swanthra Nagar, Ayyappa Nagar, Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore, we rely on the BWSSB for a consistent and reliable water supply to meet our basic needs. The water shortage has caused significant hardships, impacting our ability to cook, clean, maintain personal hygiene, and carry out essential household tasks. We have previously reached out to the water line man in our vicinity, but the response we received was unhelpful and dismissive, directing us to the head office without providing any constructive assistance.

We understand that the BWSSB may face challenges in managing water supply, but the lack of proper communication and effective resolution measures is disheartening. We are concerned not only for our immediate well-being but also for the long-term impact on the health and livelihoods of the residents.

In light of the urgency of the situation, we once again request your immediate intervention to address and rectify this ongoing issue. We kindly ask you to take the following actions:

Review the complaint filed on April 18, 2023, and the lack of response or action taken.
Conduct a thorough investigation into the root causes of the water shortage in our area.
Implement immediate and effective measures to restore a consistent water supply to our community.
Establish a proper communication channel to address residents' concerns in a timely and responsible manner.
We strongly urge you to prioritize this matter and take swift action to alleviate the hardships we are facing due to the water shortage. Our community deserves access to clean and reliable water, and we implore you to fulfill your responsibility to the residents.

We had requested to cancel the BWSSB water connection at HBR sub division office and surrendered the water meter in Dec 2020, however BWSSB has not processed the cancellation request on their billing system until Oct 2022,

For which they have been billing for the service which they didn't provide and without issuing a physical bill.

Now post 3 years now they are issuing a bulk bill over Rs 10000 stating arears and AEE does not want listen to our complaint because he was not official in charge when initial cancellation request was made in DEC 2020. He has been harrasing us and states I have no other option and have pay bill

The meter reader for taking reading and generating water bill never visits our premises on the stipulated date. Our RR No. is W 2201278/smv. The due date is 9th of every month. Today it is 12th of August. He is yet to visit our premises. My address is No.478 Yamuna Road, Sir M V Layout 8th block Bengaluru 650091. Action needs to be taken to generate bill on due date

No pipe connective between two manhole so manhole is full

Since 3 years we at no. L3 and L4 sector 11, 10th main, jeevan Bimanagar main Road, Jeevan Bimanagar, Bangalore 560075 are getting drinking water contaminated with sewage. As such all along we are depending on tanker water., Which is very expensive. Inspite of repeated complaints the problem is not attended by the concerned engineer at Jeevan Bimanagar subdivision. Will please any body concerned look into the matter and help us.

The water supply in Murugeshpalya is so less that we are buying tanker water.
The water comes alternate days only for 2 hrs and the pressure is less too.

Sewage water is entering home because of drainage block ... 2 days back ... Not cleared the drainage blockage...

Bwssb line is damaged in road
Water is getting wasted in road, when informed to officials they say its your line and you need to get it repaired
Is this fair, Should residents go and get pipes repaired anywhere in road also?
Many people like bescom come and dig roads due to laying of pipes

The Banaswadi / Kasturi nagar pump house that is to release water to this area Chikkabanaswadi Munniveeramma layout is not regular, we have not received water in 4 days every single week this happens and when they release water also it comes for 30-40 mins with no flow ar all so we barely get half a tank of water. If you call to raise a complaint none of the numbers work and there is no help

i given the complete to check manhole is blocked,
he came and check and he was asked me to pay rs 3000 to clear the chamber, (my house chamber)

It's oberved for last 2 weeks that the Cauvery water supplied to apartments in Pai Layout, Benniganahalli, P.O. Doorvaninagar has stinking smell. Can you please arrange for a check if the source side or the distribution pipeline has some issue?

We have been facing water supply issue from past 4 months without any resolution. In the last 14 days we approached assistant engineers and we haven't got any resolution nor are they taking action. There are 2 lanes in AECS Layout D block kundanahalli which are affected and none even bother to answer in bwssb office. Please do the needful and help us get water supply. This has been an issue from past 4 months

As i am the tenent in D/No. 1150, 18th Cross 1StStage, 3rdBlock, HBR Layout, RR No. E-149492/, Sub Division - E21,
On a 20*30 site, with a family of 4members, since from 2years, all thise while the billing was not morethan 1800/-, Now the current bill around 9, 000/-whic is way beyond our capacity and the usage, and i have complained the same to BWSSB office, they told me to put ball valve for overflow, which is not happened, requesting you to kindly look in to thise matter and sort out the issue as soon as possible.. My neighbor is using motor pump to pull kaveri water. Due to which we don't get kaveri water to our house. When we confessed to them, they were like we have tenants, water is not sufficient to us, so we are using motor pump, i[censored] want you can also use.

Even I am citizen, even I pay tax. Can anyone look into issue. Below is the address of our neighbor

A empty plot has been supplying water from its borewell to water tankers for commercial distribution. I believe this commercial utilization of a residential borewell is against the law. The land has conspicuously placed pipes for easy tanker filling. The owner of the land has been providing water to as many as 30-40 tankers every day also traffic jams because of water tankers. This is causing no water in nearby houses

Hello Sir,
We stay in Manorayanapalya, Sultanpalya 6th B cross. Both Kaveri and CMC water man do not release water to tho cross. Kaveri water comes once or twice in a month whereas CMC waterman releases 30 minutes of water every alternate day where as other crosses in the area are getting sufficient water supply. Request you to look into this ASAP

This is with regards to Water meter ( RR No 333428 ) that has stopped working per engineer who issues bill at premises.

On[protected], raised an online complaint number# 273413, which was unattended.

Later on[protected], i visited BWSSB office at "A narayanapura" and submitted written complaint.
After a week, an engineer by name Basava ( Ph[protected] phoned us and visited home to investigate.
He then demanded 5000 Rs to release new meter and said "he had to order and buy from vender, which costs five thousand rupees", Upon asking for proper justification, he left for the day.
None of engineer re-visited later.

Request your intervention for the same at earliest.

I am residing at No.160, 1st Floor, 4th Cross, GKW Layout, Vijayanagar, Bangalore 560 040 and would like to inform you that due to blockage in underground sewerage near my house, the drain waste lashes back to my house causing severe problems.

Manhole near our houses got full need to be cleaned on urgent basis, lotof smell coming.

We complained to AE Ms. Suhana regarding water wastage n some one came n dig that place n found pipe broken n water is leaking. But that guy close that ditch and went away within 2 hrs. No solution n till now water is leaking. Drinking water is wasting past 5 yrs due to bwssb negligence.
