- Bank of Baroda gives Educational loans to customer by taking collateral even for loans less than 3 lacs (they are not supposed to do that unless the loan amount is greater than 7 lacs)
- They divulge customer information to sources outside other than the customer about the loan taken (in my case they told my fathers family of my outstanding education loan) - this is a compliance issue, if they do adhere to basic norms of keeping a customers information secret and not giving details to third party
- They charges me a interest of 18%pa when i went to close the loan. According to my agreement they cannot charge me more than 2.75% above prevailing base rate (today the base rate was 10.75%) which should have amounted to 13.5% of the outstanding in prorata basis

This is an unethical behavior on their side. The interest rates are much lesser in other banks comparative to BOB. I would request new users to refrain from taking any kind of loan from BOB

MY SB A/c No in Bank of Baroda Thene (west) branch is [protected] My PAN No. is AACPC2845D The Bank has deducted Rs.4650 towards TDS from FD interest payments to me during FY 2007-08 ( relevant to Year 2008-09) and issued to me a TDS Cert in Form 16A However the said TDS amount is NOT reflecting in my Tax Credit Form 26AS. Due this reason, the IT Dept. has not refunded to me Rs 4650 till date. I have requested Bank of Baroda several times to file TDS correction statement with the IT Dept. but in vain

Bank of Baroda, Thane (west) branch deducted Rs. 4650 towards TDS from FD interest payments to me in Fin Yr[protected] and issued TDS Certificate in Form 16A which has been filed by me with the Income-tax Dept along with the IT Return. But this TDS of Rs. 4650 is NOT reflecting in my tax credit Form 26AS due to incorrect filing of TDS Return by the Bank. Consequently, Income tax dept.is not refunding Rs 4650 to me I have approached Bank of Baroda several times requesting them to file TDS Correction Statment with the IT Dept. But no action has yet been taken by the Bank

I WANT TO COMPLAINT FOR THE BANK OF BARODA, SULTAN PURI MAJRA. ON 14-10-11 FRIDAY, I GO TO MY BANK OF BARODA SULTAN PURI, DELHI-86 FOR DEPOSIT 6500/- RS IN MY WIFE ACCOUNT. I GAVE (500*13=6500) RS.CASHIER TOLD ME THAT I WAS PAY HIM 6000/- RS ONLY. I WAS SAID AGAIN & AGAIN THAT I GAVE 6500/- RS BUT ALL THE BANK STAFF & BANK MANAGER BLAME ME CHEATER. AND PUSH ME OUT FROM THE BANK.I DONT KNOW WHAT I DO.
SO PLEASE BEWARE DURING CASH DEPOSIT & WITHDRAW FROM THE BANK OF BARODA.

This is to bring into your notice that during my stay at Rourkela(Orisa), on 08.09.11 at 18:38 PM I tried to withdraw cash Rs. 6000/- from ATM of sector-19 of Bank of Baroda branch. To my surprise the cash was not delivered by the ATM and amount of Rs.6000/- was deducted from my saving account no. [protected]. I have submitted written complaint to the Sector-19, Rourkela branch. Other details are as under:

After return from Rourkela I consulted with the basic branch manager and concerned person dealing with ATM affairs of main branch Bokaro Steel City. Surprisingly they replied on my complaint that nothing can be done to you and you have to forget the amount of Rs.6000/- forever. After much a persuation they accepted to receive another written complaint regarding non receipt of Rs.6000/-from Rourkela ATM.
They have also mentioned that they have received lot of such complaints.

I there for request you to kindly process my complaint through your forum and arrange for return of Rs.6000/- to my savings account mentioned above.

I have given Cheque Book Request on 14/09/2011 through Netbanking. The Request number is CHK4478. Still it's showing status as Pending.

It is almost 15 days passed and unable to get any confirmation from Bank of baroda customer care or Bank of baroda Mulund Branch also

I am trying to start an online account for my corporate account in bank of baroda and inspite of following all the procedures of the bank its the third month now and there is no sign on help from them.

They keep on telling visit your branch for the password , as if I don't have any other work but just to visit the branch en number of times.

Whenever I go to the branch there is no Sign of any password from them. The person incharge Sachin Jaiswal is so rude and doesn't want to help at all........No other banks have such stupid complicated procedures but this bank in the name of security comes up with the stupidest procedures and doesn't even complete their work.

It is better if we customers can have their online account generated on our own and not wait for them to give us the Username and Password. Anyways once they give we have to change the password so what sense does it actually make of them giving us the password.

Unable to do third party transfer
bank is not registering mobile number since 2 & 1/2 months

I have submitted my application regarding net banking but till date no action taken by bank ,I have current account in bank of Baroda ,vaishali nagar branch .My c/a # is
[protected].as per bank told me pls. submit an application for update your mobile number then we will give you facility of net banking regularly.I submitted my application with mobile number and email address on dated 5 sept 2011, but no action taken by bank.my cell number is [protected] and email is [protected]@rediffmail.com

I am trying to at-least from 1 month to enroll in isecure but i can't able to do that i am getting error Error in Enrollment . Invalid Parameter. i have read instruction and help documents many times but still no luck till and i can't able to login in my net banking account. Why these banks issue these type of security without any preparation and without any customer support as i have already mailed the at [protected]@bankofbaroda.com 2 times but after passing 15 days i still didn't received any help or reply back from them.

In India any official does mistake even for Rs 500 are arrested but same indian public limited company having office at dubai and gets kick backs in millions to perform their duties looks strange and ridiculous.

Sir i have applied for a new a/c on 19/08/2011 and till know they didnt open my a/c
and when i asked them they didnt talk properly and there is also a shortage of staff,

As i am planing to take a serious legal action against him . if this is a behaviour of bank of baroda in this high competition then u will be no there in indian market 2-3 years down the line.i m also the businessmen of one of the best 5 whole sale shops in Auto parts and i know what are the pshychology of indians so i suggest u yo review ur policies and one thing more i,ll never even enter ur bank from now.ur employees are pathetic and never suggest any one to open any account with bank of Baroda

But the bank manager of fzd branch told me that he would not give the educational loan for any other backward caste candidate.
while the bank provides the educational loan for all.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I held a Senior Citizens Savings Scheme, 2004 (S.C.S.S) account (A/c Number 352) with Bank of Baroda. TDS has been deducted by Bank of Baroda for the Assesment Year[protected] but as per the FORM 26AS it has not been received by the Income Tax department for[protected] and[protected]. I had complained about the matter to Bank of Baroda but still no action has been taken. I had even complained to the Branch Manager...

This complaint is against the Kisan Credit card authorizing manager at the Saraimeer branch of Bank of Baroda, wherein the manager is not ready to work upon to issue the credit card. It has been a month he got transferred here at Saraimeer, he has not settled down as usual in government jobs. He got the job basis the reservation quota and now he is not abiding by the rules to help the rural people.
Some stern steps need to be taken so that rural people don't feel helpless due to this attitude of the officials at reputed banks.Government has made the provision to issue Kisan Credit Cards to let the people of villages prosper & survive but if this is the case how will the schemes work out.

If a person is not ready to bribe the officials, no help would be given to him/her. This is just HARASSING THE NEEDY ONES!!!!!!!!!

I Dr Narendra verma having saving bank account in BOB atmajyoti
ashram baroda Gujarat no [protected] Using ATM Card since long but I never faced any problem.
On 16/2/11 I withdraw RS 15000 from ATM of BOB WADI AREA but I
received only RS 14500 that 29 notes of 500(0 notes of 100) ususally its a trend that we receive 29 notes of 500 along with 5 notes of 100 .BUT I RECEIVED ONLY 29 NORES OF 500 in that transaction.
I asked security person he told it happens many times complain where 100 notes are over in machine.
I COMPLAIN ED the no given was[protected]
2 months have passed and there is no response from bank. In their transaction it says that 15000 was amount of transaction and same was deducted from my account.
I am using ATM CARD since long only this was first time when I
received RS 500 less

Again on 29/3/11 I withdraw RS 500 FROM PANGATE BRANCH ONLY RECIEPT
CAME WITH WRITTEN TRANSACTION DECLINED with message "061 ENTER LSSER AMOUNT"

BUT MONEY DECTUCTECFROM ACCOUNT 500 AND 500 TWICE RECORD NO IS 1242/1243/1244

Request to do the needful.
I have written mails complaints ahve made to banks but there is no response.
