Bank Of India — Complaint regarding incorrect Write-Off status shown in my CIBIL report despite payment of the entire amount

I, Shesh Narayan Yadav, son of Shri Rampal Yadav, resident of Alinagar, Jarwal Road, District Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, maintain a KCC account with your bank bearing KCC Account No. [protected].

With regard to the above-mentioned KCC account, I deposited an amount of ₹55, 000/- on[protected] and settled the account under the settlement arrangement. Thereafter, the Branch Manager informed me that such settlement would adversely affect my CIBIL record.

Therefore, I subsequently deposited an additional amount of ₹1, 05, 000/- on[protected]. Both payments were made/transferred from my savings account bearing Account No. [protected].

Thus, I have deposited the required amount towards the said KCC account. However, despite making the payments, the said KCC account is still being shown as “Write-Off” in my CIBIL report. This incorrect status is adversely affecting my CIBIL score and causing difficulties in obtaining loans and other banking/financial facilities.

I have visited the bank branch several times regarding this issue and requested correction of my CIBIL status, but the matter has not yet been resolved.

I, therefore, request you to kindly verify my account and payment records and take necessary action to correct/update the status of my KCC account with CIBIL and all other credit information companies/bureaus, and remove the incorrect “Write-Off” status, if found wrongly reported.

I also request you to provide me with written confirmation of the correction/update made in my credit report.
