It is informed, cheque was torn from date portion hence scanned copy of a cheque transmitted to HDFC Bank without date portion, hence cheque was returned. This cheque of Rs 1, 00, 000 was given to me as a token of deposit for Booking our Flat at Ahmedabad, and we were to book another flat against this deposit money + some money from our fund. Our Developer has increased booking rate by Rs 50/ per sq ft wef November 4 2020 and we shall have to bear the loss.
