Bank Of Maharashtra — Cheque Return by bank when there was sufficient balance

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have deposited outward cheque to ICICI bank amount Rs. 52500.00 cheque no. 037486 dtd. 16/03/2017 A/C no. [protected] (DARSHANA DINANATH ACHAREKAR AND VINIT DINANTH ACHAREKAR) but your bank (BOM) has return that with reason insufficient balance. Actually there is sufficient balance in my account.


I don’t know why the cheque has been return if there is sufficient balance and you have charge me cheq return charges Rs. 345/- on dtd. 18/03/2017. Due the this my ICICI client also charge cheque return charges. Please revers my charges and give me apology letter for that so I can show my client that there is sufficient balance in my account and cheque has been revers due to some technical issue.

I have already speak branch Manager Satish Shah he ask me to give me complaint letter, I already mark mail to bank of maharastra no reply from their end
