Hi,

I have applied for Barclays Credit Card before a month. I have got a confirmation that i have been approved for barclays credit card and an staff of Barclays credit card reached my house to deliver the credit card. Since i was not in my house the associate told that he will deliver the credit to person only. I asked them to deliver the credit card to my office still now i did not recieve the same. Kindly do me the needful.

I alraedy talked to the courier services but nothing get from there.

Hi Barclays team,

I am very upset with the kind of services barclays is providing.I made my payment through cheque to barclays executive.Under his custody my cheque got tored. Now barclays has charged me with late payment fees, returned cheque fees, service tax and interest on the whole as well. All this because the cheque got tored under their custody.Their customer support said that they can not do anything for this and the customer can do whatever he wants to do.

can anyone help me out with this issue

I have received the call from your side that the my card is approved and it is despatched through BlueDart Courier in the month of January 2008. The delivery Executive from Bluedart courier has taken back the kit stating that the door is locked and he has put the nondelivery slip in my house door. His AWB NO-[protected] Dated 07/01/08 at 13.30pm. And after contacted the Courier they say it is been retuned to bank.From that time i been trying ther is no response from your side i been calling at this nos[protected] and they say i should call at 60016001, but there is no one to answere that call.But month on month i am receiving some mailers from your bank even i have received the PIN No also. But what is the use of having pin No with out card.Hope you will please look in to this and kindly do the needful.

On 23rd Jan09 I received a call from one of your representative, who has taken all my personal details on phone and informed me that some other represantative will visit my residence for collecting relevant document for the credit card.

I am suprised, that this time also no one turn down till date. This is the 3rd time I am asking to send some representative, since i am very much interested in applying for you credit card.

Pls. note Last 6 months passed, I am only receiving the calls from your end but no one turned up.
Hope you will please look in to this and kindly do the needful.

    not received my credit card
    Hi,

    I have applied for barclays credit card dated 27/9/07 and my application no is (aa 524754),after two months they verified in my office and my home but still their is reply and response.I called up 2-3 times to executive she replied bank will message me after two days.and still their is no response.

    It is almost 1 mth, one representative from Barclays bank came home and collected all my documents and told that my Lifetime Free Platnium credit card will be issued within a week. 10 days back one person came home for residence verification, and assured that my card will be dispatched within 2 days.     I am having Barclays CreditCard for 5 month. I did many transaction even balance transfer for 15000. Now when i call to customerCare they are saying your details are not matching. They are not even ready to write a complain regarding this or matching the documents I have submitted at the time of Account opening.
    I have applied for barclays credit card before 2-3 months.
    2 weeks before your executive called me and informed me that yuo have issue Platinum card to me. After that your executive came at my office for verification. everything has been done but still i have not yet received any card or any correspondence from your side.       I have applied for barclays credit card and the executive told that credit card will be handled to me personally. Since i leave my home at 7.30 and reach my home at 9pm hence i had requested them to hand over my credit card to my office adress. Still after 10 days i did not recieve my credit card. Kindly let me know what is the status.Pls do the needful.

      I have been trying to contact Barlcay officals since i week. All contact numbers mentioned on your their website and credit card are not working including the toll free number. So how can i make the contact
      i have applied many times for barclays credit card but the appication form has a condition that our card only for u.k residents only.
      Respected Sir:

      My concern is that even I had made the payment before time, I am afraid if I will be charged for non-payment of minimum due amount.

      Below is the case synopsis:

      I made my first transaction of 20000 thru my Barclaycard. The first statement that we got was of 20000 and Minimum Amount Due was 1000. The Payment Due Date was May 02, 2008. I tried to pay online on April 30, but due to some technical problem on the website I was unable to get through. Though I was able to make the minimum due amount by May 05. I made multiple calls to Barclaycard customer care service to inform them the scenario. They assured me that if I explain the situation and inform the Transaction ID then the extra charge for nonpayment of Minimum Amount Due could be avoided. I informed through mail and phone calls, but to no avail.

      The next statement was generated on May 12, 2008, description is as below:
      Previous Balance 20000
      Payments received 1000
      Interest+charges 1726.14
      Total Amount Due 207226.14
      Minimum Payment due 1040

      Then on May 31, 2008 I made a payment of 7, 000 online to avoid extra interest+charges. I didn't get any confirmation message from Barclaycard Payment Gateway as I did when I paid my first payment. On Jun 04, 2008 I got an SMS that the payment is being credited to my Barclaycard Credit Card account

      I am afraid that again I will be charged Interest+charges for nonpayment of Minimum Amount due, even if I made the payment on May 31 itself (Last date was June 02).

      If this is the case, please cancel my Barclay credit card straight away, I will make the payment as soon as possible. I do not want to lose my hard-earned money just like that.

      Barclays Credit Card — Credit Card without PIN Number

      Hi,
      As per the aforesaid subject, I received my Barklays Credit Card in the month of April 2008. Till date I have repeatedly asked them to send the PIN number for my card which they are not done.

      Secondly, during the month of May 2008, I was suppose to make a payment of Rs 538.44 on or before 14th May 2008, there was a delay in the payment, however their staf[censored]sed to call me day in and day out even without bothering to know my status, whether i am free to talk or not ( as we all were mourning the death ... ). It was really a shame on thier part to ask for a payment of partly Rs 538.44 during that juncture.

      To add salt to the wound, they have sent me a statement stating that they received the payment, but it was late thus they have asked me to pay Rs. 300/- as Late Payment Fee with 12.36% service tax which is extra.

      I had never begged them for a credit card, it is their executive who came to the office and took the details and delivered the same.

      I am repenting for holding this credit card, I highly suggest other never to go in for Barklays Credit Card.

      I applied two months before and still i dont have any feedback about my credit card status and tried lots of time toll free number but its not responding and saying is not a valid number 60016001, 60004444. So I really very harast about this bank
      Ur lucky my friend they have still not issued u a card, try for some other bank, its the most pathetic service i have seen with my ten yr experience with creditcard companies!!!their call center number doesn get thru, so u can imagine ur state i[censored]r card is lost and their cal center number says this number is busy..all the time!!

      I have applied for the Barclays credit card 4 months before and a called from head office that my card has been dispatched. But I haven't recieved it yet. Then I contacted a person called Venkatesh from Himalaya marketing Bangalore, he replyed that the card will be dispatched to you in 4 working hours. But that is actually 2 months before.       This has refernce to you i have recieved one calls from your side he spoke to me you are valuable customer for Barclaycard & he explain the scheme, am asking any charges from this scheme but he say not any charges from this scheme but I recieved card statment I saw Rs. 6000 /- + Service tax debited in my card.
      I have allready complain in customer care & priority circle they never cancel this scheme.

      I request you to please cancel the scheme & credit total amount in my credit card immediately, otherwise i take the action to you.

      I am using Barclays credit card for the past 6 months, September month I have received the statement, it said you have to pay Rs. 3000. I can't beleive it because I didn't use your card.       How can I apply Barclays credit card online in hyderabad city
      its more than a 2months i didn't even know the status of my credit card as i made many calls i just get the Ref. no. ALO80806SUR0004 and the status is still a mistry . only God knows What is wrong after taking my document. i thing they are not interested in having a good customer like us . as after appling to barglays i applied for kotak mahindra card and relience card they already deliver my cards with a good credit limit.

      I had the same feeling of frusturation & helplessness whilst dealing with Barclays when I wanted my statement by E-mail. Numerous calls to their call centre was absolutely useless.But i had a pleasant surprise when one of their executive manager Mr. Yatin called up to get the details of my complaint & within the next 1 hour I had the statement which the call centre was wanting 48 Hours.

      Perhaps there is a silver lining after all. Lets hope the good rubs off on all their executives.

      Barclay — Regarding The Credit Card

      I had been using the card for nearly a Year. My Credit Limit Was more that 1 Lakh.
      On OCT 26 th I Swipped the card for 6000 odd RS. later on Novemebr First Week, i tried to swipe the card online on the IRCTC website. Later It was Denied, i tahught That Barclay did not have the Provision, So i had to go all the way to the Reservation Center and Tried to Book the Ticket.

      There also it was denied. I called up the Customer care. I was told that there System was not Working. After Few Minutes, i called up again later i was told that my credit Limit was Lowered and they had sent an mail as well as a SMS on OCT 20Th. Till date i have not recieved the Letter neither did recieve the SMS.

      The Best Part is that i recieve their BIll and Later Letters. On the same Call i had called up to get the Rewards Points and had ordered a Coupon which till date has not yet been Recieved.

      I had Also called up on the Second Week to check, the CSR told me that would be Getting it within 4 Days.

      Those 4 days never came, one more Point i would like to add here is that the customer service Rep not Only lie but are also Rude in thier Language.

      For all those people who are complaining for non-receipt of Barclaycard I would suggest that you consider yourself lucky. Simply don't go for this card. They are number one Cheater. They have simply many card users in the name of priority circle membership. I am one of the victim. Better stay away from Barclay otherwise you will regret.
      why my limit decrease without any information
      i applied for the card on sep17th... yet no call or card frthem... no body here seems to knw the cust care no or the cc dept no... even the pl who work for them dont knw. a person clld me frmthe loans dept and wn i askd her for the Cust care #, nobody thr also seems to av a track... no idea wat happning... these ppl are takin all docs frm us to gv us a cc but no idea if thy ae misusing it...this is highly irritating

      I had applied for the Barclays Yatra credit card...I was said that i will receive the card within 15 days when i got the confirmation call tht my card is being dispatched...But now after 45 days when i am calling them, they say that my details are not there in their system...They say I have to apply again...that means again unlimited number of calls even when I am working in office...and also I am not going to provide all my details again...what is the guarantee that this willn't happen again...I didn't expect such poor service atleast from Barclays.

      My brother has taken Barclay credit card last year. Even after making the due payments he was charged Rs 300/- extra. When he called customer care there was no proper response. Left with no other option, he paid that amount.

      But to add to surprise he again got Rs 200/- charge. He lodged the complain with the rather rude customer care. But complain was never acted upon. He again received bill with interest.

      We are now fed up with stupid customer care. No complain works there. Over that, they call 10 times a day to make payment.

      I and my brother who work for software companies, wont recommend barclay card to anyone ever.
      Can someone please save us from this trauma.

      Dont take BARCLAY CARD!! Dont use BARCLAY CARD!! If you have used DON'T PAY to them as it is vicious circle till you or your bank account is dead!!

      Barclays Credit Card — Credit card application process

      Hi,

      I had applied for Barclays Times card a couple of weeks back with the phone banking executive saying that I would be getting a call from the applications department within 7 days. After 2 weeks and 2 new applications on the Times card site and on the application helpline, I finally received a call from their team who offered me a Yatra Platinum card, not the Times card I applied for. The phone banking executive (or whatever his designation might be) took all my details saying that I could apply for either card. He finally came to asking my birth date, which I mentioned. On mentioning my birth year, he repeated it to someone and then said he'll call me back. I asked him what the problem was and he lied to me saying that there was some problem with the software and he would call me back and before I could say anything he hung up on me. I cannot get myself to curse and swear on a public forum but I seriously feel as disgusted a customer as any. I hope Barclays realizes that a bank's value lies only with their customers and if they treat potential customers like this with a "premium" image they wish to create. I do not see how long they would be able to survive.
      You DO NOT WANT THIS CARD!!! DONT DO IT!!!

      Barclay Credit Card — Charges applied on Card-No statement

      This is regarding the Barclay Credit card that i have.

      The bank knows that they are not delivering the statements to my address & also inspite of my payments have been charging me late fees & overlimit fees.

      I have not seen my statement for ages & don't know the due date or when the statement gets generated.
      Still i make online payments through one of my friends online banking.

      I have informed the bank already that i don't have online banking or a system at my place so please send me the paper-statement each month so taht i can know the bal on my card, which they've failed to do so.

      today i got a call, & to my surprise the rep says that i have charged with overlimit fees thrice & i have no knowledge of teh same.
      I had applied for barclay cerdit card for almost 1 year back, but i had not received any card. after intimating this to bank, i had not received card, later 4-5 month back I told to cancelled my application since i m not receiving it, but till today how come i m receiving sms from barclay to my mobile when i dont have credit card.this is rediculous.
      This was same happened with me. I also didn't get any card since two years of i was got refrence no. two years back. & they also told me that i will get my card in 21 days.

        Hi .,

        I have opted a Balence transfer facility thru barclays but they have posted me a Bwrong BT cheque
        upon contacting they apologized and agreed to send me a another cheque with right details but
        it is been more then 30 days i didn't get any cheque, and whenever i contact them they used to disconnect the call in the middlee of the conversation.., So frusrated .
        Other then that they hv sent a monthly statement of balence 45000/- rs .

        Ultimately now i am paying interest charges to other bank since Barlays failed to delivre the cheque.

        Absolutely account less & blunder .
        As a customer wondering how come a bank commit such mistakes .

        Note: The amount mentioned is not exact, Its been too long that i forgot the exact figures.

        Can some one help & advise.

        i'm very dissapointing to your well known bank.My mother today an elderly person went to your branch at Windsor{BeauBassin} to withdraw cash from your ATM.But unfortunately
        it was out of service.She take a taxi toward your other branch that is Ebene.In surprise it was out of service.At last she went to R-Hill it was o.k but with many people waiting and the taxi took her Rs 500.
        Just for your unprofessional service my mother waste time for nothing and this cases is not the first time.
        So try to be proffesional and put some more ATM more if you want to be a well known banking.
