I, vanjaxi s m, bought a shoe from bata store at kormangala. I
Wore the pair of shoe and found it was hurting my foot bone on side of
Right leg. So same day i carried the shoe and told the manager about the
Defect in the shoe. He accepted the defect and asked me to exchange with
Similar other pair the next day by getting the bill. I tried all other and
Found all the shoes hold the same defect. And also i was not interested to
Buy any other design than the one i had chosen.
Later, he accepted saying yes the product is defective and will get new
Stock a week later. I was patient and agreed to check, ones they have new
Stock. And that they will call me.
I trust bata since my childhood and been buying all my pairs and my
Family's from bata. So keeping this in mind i was sure they will sort out
This issue and help me. And today, after 2 weeks time i went to check, no
Call from them. They said they have brought same piece from other bata
Store, on trying the same issue persisted. One shoe is high on edges
Compared to the other and hurting my foot bone on the side again. I said
Its same issue. He said choose other shoe.
My problem is, twice i went through all designs and if i have chosen one
Already, i can't force myself to buy some other sandle or shoe because
You don't have other and are not ready to refund. Problem is with with your
Defective shoe and not from my side.
The manager has said me he won't refund and forcing me to buy some other by
March 2018. While, i not being at fault and being patient, i can't wait
Longer and want a refund. Since its not lower priced shoe but rs. 1500/-
And i won't buy simply for sake of buying.
I even asked him for an option to hold the money and allow me a years time
So i can buy something by that period. But he is not agreeing. So i except
From bata that they refund my amount.
