Hi - after getting a approval for 50% replacement given below - now bata is saying they will not entertain such request

We thank you for being our valuable customer and appreciate your feedback.
Further to the information provided by you and feedback from our store, we are happy to extend a 50% replacement for the product. Kindly follow the below procedure for replacement;
1. We will replace with the same product (Article number / model) and size if available at the store.
2. If the same product (Article/model) is not available in the store (Due to non availability of same model, size, color etc) you can avail the replacement with any other product of equal or higher value. The difference of higher value needs to be paid by you.
3. Please note that there is no cash refund. Also, in case of replacement with a lower value item, there will be no refund of differential amount.
