I has purchased a north star shoe for rs 622 on the date 9/9/2018 from the bata stores located at anna nagar madurai. The invoice no is cm[protected]. We inquired the salesman at the time of purchase if repair of shoes was accepted within the given period. I would have hardly used the shoes for 20 times, and i find that the soles are torn. When i inquired the salesman if repair could be done he said he would inform us later after asking the manager. When inquired again he answered in a negative way, saying it was my fault. The shoe is still in shop. I request you to provide a solution for this problem.

Updated by bharathijoshi Complaint id 2156517 regarding the poor quality of north star shoes. From Bata side they deny for replacement or repair saying that the shoes torn by serrated use and lack of maintenance. They deny quality issue. But I want to clarify that the shoes used for 20 times only in college campus. One can think of the quality of the product. Other students who purchased north star shoes had the same issue. This is our third experience regarding Bata shoes quality issue. In future we and our friends avoid buying Bata product. we go for other brands which are more durable than Bata.
