I have been buying from bata for all my family footwear needs for all these years and had planned to purchase 3 items from a bata store jayanagar bangalore on 15th august after hearing about the new offer.
Out of these 3 items one item was not available hence they took an order to deliver it to my home and promised me a delivery in 2 days but the delivery was delayed and also i realized that i could use gift voucher of 1000rs they provided me for the purchase of other items and buy the item directly from another bata store hence i returned the courier and asked them to refund the money.
But this turned out to be a big mistake as bata customer service sucks, it's been about 15 days now since i asked them to refund and even after several follow ups neither they have provided me any timelines nor they have initiated a refund. Even my tweet to their official twitter handle fell on deaf ears now they have stopped responding to my emails altogether.
Their plans to expand their ecommerce business will not fly unless they get hold on their current customer service issues.
