Work is extremely poor. They pick local paint team for painting. Color and cracks started to appear in less than 2 months. I asked for customer support and its been 9 months, no support they are providing. Customer care not replying to my mail. Extremely dissatisfied with overall experience. Will never buy and recommend berger products. The supervisor is of no use.

Never opt for berger service.

I am r. Gunasekaran working in lic of india. Two years back i build a house and painted your product. Colour coat chips came out from many point of wall within only 10-months against guaranteed 7-years. The berger officials came for inspection and the mistake is done from your side only. So they corrected by repainting it ("berger walmasta antifungal emulsion" and "berger weathercoat" which was purchased from your dealer veera agencies, vellakovil, tiruppur, tamilnadu-638111) and charged some amount from us. Still same problem occurs again and again.

So kindly check the problem by sending the officials and if it is same problem means you have to take a necessary action regarding this issue.

They are not use any meteral tools to increasing time or dust and sound control. The cost of the paint is more than the mrp rate. Only 2 labour they are not professional. The price is higher than the local labour. Customer care department is not supported. Sorry to say that they are very very bad in kollam kerala. Please don't fall their advertising.

This is the complaint number raised in june sr[protected]. 3 weeks passed in the name of rectification and no one came to rectify their 'application error' as told to me by the person who visited the site on berger's behalf. They were supposed to repaint the walls which had patches and undulation as well as color fading but no one really cared to get back for the real work after the initial checking was done on 2 different days. And i waited for 3 weeks before i am posting this and so far no communication whatsoever from their team. All they wanted me to commit is that i dont post anything else on social media and they even gave me that condition which i declined as i have every right to post on social media as many times as i want. Be it on berger's page or on any other third party complaint site. So i give up the matter with berger for now, i am going to get my house repainted soon but from of course any other company and not berger #saynotoberger ever again in my life. So i hope no one calls me from berger as i dont want anything from cheats who fail to keep up their promise (As they told me rectification work will start in 1 week but its more than 3 weeks). I am attaching few pictures of my wall, and trust me the paint does not even last for 1 year full. And compared to competitors berger only is inexpensive by few thousands, which i guess anyone should be willing to spend the extra few thousands and get a better service from other companies who are willing to cater to the needs of the customers. Also berger workers dont really know how to do the designer walls, i have had numerous complaints regarding this in past but they never came back with a proper response in the past too and since i paid half before work began i had to take the service or else my money goes down the drain. So whatever is their in the catalogue is just a show off, they know only 1 design which is not even in the catalogue book and they can only do that. At least the person appointed to do my house painting was only aware of one design which is not there on the book. And looks like some painting done by 10 years old children on my wall with some random haphazard flowers and branches. And all these for 38k, what a great fool i have been! So i hope no one calls me from berger as i dont want anything from cheats who fail to keep up their promise (As they told me rectification work will start in 1 week but its more than 3 weeks). I have the worst experience with Berger express paint!
Around 2 years ago I gave the contract to Berger express paint to paint my newly constructed Home and I meet Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (Vendor).

After a healthy meeting they asked Rs.: 30, 0000/= to complete the painting work for (Ground + 2).
Their Commitments:

• Will use the latest equipment
• Experienced Workers
• Will use the best quality products (paint, putty, etc.…)
• Will complete the work within 45 days.
• Will use color and pattern what you choose.

I would simply say, they have not completed a single commitment what they did.
When I called to customer care and get the complained registered against the vendor. I was shocked when I received a threatening call from a area executive of Berger paints where he was keeping me threatening that short out your issues with your vendor and if you complain again we will stop my work, on the next moment again, I received a call where all words were same just person was different and he was Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (Vendor).

Again, I called Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (Vendor) and asked him to get the my work done ASAP, then he asked that give me some cash as I have to pay to labors, spuriously I told him that why should I pay you more as I have paid already 2, 45, 000 out of 3, 00, 000 and hardly 40% work has been done from your side than he told me if you’ll not pay I’ll stop your work and he just called back all peoples were working there at my home.

After the incident, I called him many times, but he was keep saying that I’ll come tomorrow but his tomorrow never came for us. I also complaint against him, but again no more benefit there, I don’t know what I should do….

I have many word to say but I would like to end with the word that “Berger Paint is not only a fraud company but also an institution of cheaters people”

I had given painting contract of just 246 sq feet and even after 8 weeks, the job is yet to finish. On verbal complaint, many officers telephoned to enquire the status and after explaining the unfinished job, they assures action being taken and never turns back. I have recorded message of all the executives who have promised to get back to me after investigating and never turned back. The company spents lacs of rupees on advertisement and in reality doesnt even worth contacting them.

This is only for those who is thinking of giving contract to Berger Paints. Like me I have seen many many others have same bad experience. So beware of such bogus advertisement.

Being female i thought where i would go and find local painters its better to g8ve the contract to berger. But my decision was full of regret. The total area of the exterior wall is 2350sqft. At the time to giving thr contract your executive mr. Saurabh kumar assured me that best service will be provided. Before painting surface will be cleaned properly and damaged parts will be repaired. But the promish was just a myth. The painters are stubborn with ill behaviour. They do whatever they wish without caring my words. And i oppose they freak out by saying that they will stop the work. Since i have already paid the advance money so i am force to face all rubbish. Work is still going on at this site. I request you take proper action so that further work conrinues hassel free. I hope company will take my complaint on priority basis

Very sad to inform you sir that the express painting done by your company is pathetic.
Sorry to use the word. Trying to find a better word.
Cannot image a company treating customer in this fashion.

I 've painted my clinic from Berger express painting because of the hassle free operation...But this is to inform all the consumers that this 'EXPRESS PAINTING is a farse & simple waste of money..

Shortly after registration online I received a call from Burger who explained me the process which will involve 100% dust free machine application with regular supervision from companies representative at site..

When the work started I found its just the same old process..no machine came for sanding, primer and paint application. Only two painter did it single handed and they were so rude and the applicator who was introduced by the company executive came mainly to take money..

Most ordinary work done...it's better to get a labor & get things painted...SAY NO TO EXPRESS PAINTING..
Berger paint suppose to be such an reputed name. I chose it over Asian paints so that my work could go hassle free. Had to stand 10 hrs with the painter so that the work cod be carried out. It's the work of the supervisor which I was doing.
No putty used on the walls.
No wall treatment done. Painter tells me that the wall doesn't require putty treatment. What a farce and irresponsible answer.
When I did painting with Asian paints I was given a schedule which was followed by the painters. Supervisor used to visit everyday.
Here with Berger paints... No schedule was given. No machines used for express painting.

I hope this service if continued will definitely spoil the reputation of the company.

We had given contract to Berger paints for home painting, they paint colours different which we select after that 4 time i had call company representative Mr. Tushar Goswami ( [protected]-Baroda ) for that, they not came my home .On the final handover date we were shocked to see incorrect use of colours, poor quality painting, cracks also unfilled and primer showing.after that MR. Tushar had came with his boss. Mr. Kapil ([protected] -Baroda), they also not given proper response.
this is cheating form Berger company, because of i had given order to company then also they given order to other contractor.without my knowledge.

I am Rahul Dharmadhikari, resident of Elmwoods, Pimple Saudagar, Pune. I had got my home painting done through Berger Paints Express Painting Division in April 2016. I thought that since Berger Paints is a reputed paints company, the work done by them will be perfect. Concerned Berger Paints executives were Vineet Pandey and Deepak Kumar and contractor was Nagesh.

But within a few months of painting completion, many cracks have appeared in the paint. (some of the cracks in attached photos below). I tried complaining to the above-mentioned people but they are giving lame excuses. Hence posting on this forum. I hope that Berger Paints company will take some action on my complaint, otherwise customers will lose faith in them.

Dear Sir,
On 4th Aug, 2016 kollam depot, kerala has informed me to attend the meeting of lift and win 2015-16 at kollam Beach orchid hotel, kollam. I have given my I.D. proof, photo and signed all documents for Rs. 15, 000/-. One Mr. Vishnu tel. No. [protected] of kollam depot is now holding the card with out any reasoner. On 11.8.16 I went to the depot, but he did not give the card. It is a clear case of cheating done by Berger kollam depot. This is a clear case of cheating done by Vishnu on behalf of Berger paints
Kindly check into the matter urgently.

Express painting Contractor

I had painted my two storied building situated at janiguda, near govt.Hospital, koraput in nov.2011 with berger exterior allguard purchased from sri rama traders, koraput, as per the advise of the dealer and with the help of approved painter of the dealer. I was assured of the life of the paint for seven years. But after two years some parts of painting from the top appeared green which subsequently spreaded over a large area. Please depute your rep.Mr.Satya satpathy (Tso) to verify the facts and compensate me for the failure of the company for assuring seven year life of the paint.

We had given contract to berger paints for their home painting solutions. At the time of taking the advance cheque, promises were made and in good faith we made the payment. The agreed time frame was 15 days but there was no sign of handover even after 19 days. We were told that three feedback forms would be provided during the process but neither their representative nor their agent turned up either for supervision or...

I have given contract to Berger for interior painting of my house (contract price is more than 50K) in the month of December, 2014 and the painting work got completed by the month of February, 2015. At the time of painting there were defective paint products used due to which my walls surface turned to be uneven and despite of lots of follow up and headache the defect was not rectified properly and I was compelled to take hand over of my house.

After that in the month of October, 2015 colors started to fade and also peeling out from wall at multiple potions. Then I raised a complain for this and as per the complain Prabir Chakrabarty visited my house. At his visit he just mentioned in a sheet of paper the level of moisture at the affected walls where the colors are peeling out and where the colors are fading out and after that asked me to sign on that.

After that day for 10 days there was no update rather I rigorously followed up with customer care for 10 times and raised 3 times complain. Then only( after one month hard follow up) I got resolution from customer care that I already had defective walls in my house before painting and when Prabir Chakrabarty first visited my house before painting also suggested that I should apply damp proof treatment which I did not, so he started painting on defective walls.

1> First of all there was no such information conveyed from Prabir to me before the painting that my walls were defective and also in my agreement there is no such line mentioned which is my genuine evidence against faulty statement made by Prabir Chakrabarty.

2> Second, If I am capable of painting worth more than Rs 50K then it does not matter to me to spend more 50K for damp Proof treatment.

3> Third, no resolution provided on my paint getting fade issue which is awful.


4> Fourth, Still I have proof on my walls how Berger has provided me defective products due to which my walls are still uneven.

I am really getting frustrated and harassed after giving contract to Berger. I have my exterior walls painted by Asian Paints but there is not a single problem with it. Now it seems like it is my biggest mistake to give contract to Berger. Based on my horrible experience I have forbidden all my neighbors not to pursue with Berger and they followed the same.

Now I need strong action on my issue and immediate remedy ASAP without fail else I will definitely go to consumer forum and post on every social network(Facebook, twitter ) that how Berger cheat with people with defective products and harass with its service.

Respected sir/madam, with consultation with you through customer care/email/representative/master painter i have agreed to paint my roof to protect the roof from any type of damages . I was told that i have to spend 10 litres of premier paints and 66 litres of weather coat & seal to cover 1100 sq.Ft. Area on my roof. One mr. Utpal datta of durgapur. Introduced himself as an employee of berger paints and your master painter gave me the above estimate, but after completion of work it took 16 litres of premier paints and 90(app.) litres of weather coat & seal which was beyond my expectations. I have contacted with mr. Roy of durgapur but got no suitable reply for the same. Presently my question who will bear the extra cost? your dealer/agent at our place is pressing me hard to pay the same which is not possible for me . I am waiting for your reply/action on it within a short span of time otherwise i have to take the matter with the higher/other authority which may affect (?) good will of berger. Done painting at my Kolhapur house as per suggestions / Idea given by company representative, Mr.Harish (Mob - [protected]). All painting material is purchased ( of around Rs.20K) as per shop suggested by him. Aside painting is also done as per name suggested by him (earlier he suggested one and latter another, reason for change Mr.Harish knows). After completing painting with 2 months ceiling area paint is having cracks/ papadi come out. I have staying in Pune, internate I have found out company details and contact nos. Went to Kolhapur one and in one meeting with Berger representative ( 30 mints) without going into much details I put toltal faith on commitment / suggestions / idea given by him. But now neither Mr.Harish is responding nor painter ( Mr.Hitesh, Mob – [protected] ) suggested by Mr. Harish. Actually I called up your representative at my Pune residence for home painting solution but my priority was painting Kolhapur house first but in Kolhapur Berger don’t have home solution facility so I contacted Mr. Harish. Most important the way company representative and his suggested painter behaviour was shocking.

I have in the past 3 weeks purchased Jet Dry Non slip - Charcoal from Bunnings in Subiaco. the concrete front veranda was well prepared, hand stripped back to the bear concrete (took 6 weekends to do so) and the paint applied according to instructions. Two coats were put down and the immediate result was excellent. Within 24 hours the veranda was stained by just mains water, NOT bore water. The veranda is a disgrace, no matter what I do to clean it nothing is moving the on going water staining and the marks from foot traffic of a one person household. I am extremely disappointed in this product and could not recommend it to any of my friends or use it again on any of my properties. I will revert to a far superior product, Wattle

i had my house painted by berger . The work got over in march. as soon as the rains started the paint on my walls and ceilings have got bubbles and is now cracking up.several complaints were made . one Mr Patil , team leader came and took several photographs . after chasing him for 3 weeks he has now given the mobile number of his senior Mr Moin. i have spent a large amount of money , to get this kind of work . within 2 months the paint has started chipping . is this the guarantee that your company gives .?

i will take up this issue seriously and make it public , if nothing is done about this .
obviously your paint was defective. even the colour differed form the shade card when applied on the walls.
