Done painting at my Kolhapur house as per suggestions / Idea given by company representative, Mr.Harish (Mob - [protected]). All painting material is purchased ( of around Rs.20K) as per shop suggested by him. Aside painting is also done as per name suggested by him (earlier he suggested one and latter another, reason for change Mr.Harish knows). After completing painting with 2 months ceiling area paint is having cracks/ papadi come out. I have staying in Pune, internate I have found out company details and contact nos. Went to Kolhapur one and in one meeting with Berger representative ( 30 mints) without going into much details I put toltal faith on commitment / suggestions / idea given by him. But now neither Mr.Harish is responding nor painter ( Mr.Hitesh, Mob – [protected] ) suggested by Mr. Harish. Actually I called up your representative at my Pune residence for home painting solution but my priority was painting Kolhapur house first but in Kolhapur Berger don’t have home solution facility so I contacted Mr. Harish. Most important the way company representative and his suggested painter behaviour was shocking.

    I have in the past 3 weeks purchased Jet Dry Non slip - Charcoal from Bunnings in Subiaco. the concrete front veranda was well prepared, hand stripped back to the bear concrete (took 6 weekends to do so) and the paint applied according to instructions. Two coats were put down and the immediate result was excellent. Within 24 hours the veranda was stained by just mains water, NOT bore water. The veranda is a disgrace, no matter what I do to clean it nothing is moving the on going water staining and the marks from foot traffic of a one person household. I am extremely disappointed in this product and could not recommend it to any of my friends or use it again on any of my properties. I will revert to a far superior product, Wattle

    I have painted my full House and Compound Walls with Berger paints, some 6 months Back just before the monsoons. I have used Berger Alguard paints with Basic Beige colour. The paint was bought from M/s. Asian Paints and Hardwares, Vazhakulam, Muvattupuzha. The dealer convinced that the product is having good lasting and is guaranteed for 5 years from fungus. But to my dismay the compound walls are completely affected with fungus. When the matter was informed to the dealer, he asked me to wash the walls. Kindly send your representatives to inspect the work and make good my lose. An early response from your part is highly appreciated.

      i had my house painted by berger . The work got over in march. as soon as the rains started the paint on my walls and ceilings have got bubbles and is now cracking up.several complaints were made . one Mr Patil , team leader came and took several photographs . after chasing him for 3 weeks he has now given the mobile number of his senior Mr Moin. i have spent a large amount of money , to get this kind of work . within 2 months the paint has started chipping . is this the guarantee that your company gives .?

      i will take up this issue seriously and make it public , if nothing is done about this .
      obviously your paint was defective. even the colour differed form the shade card when applied on the walls.

        Sir,
        I have applied Berger paint WALMASTA on exterior as well interior walls,but the paint have not lasted even 2 months .I has started peeling off at most of places.
        There is decolouration on all the walls.When contacted through 2-3 mails ,one representative came and and left within 10 minutes without assigining any reason.My all mails (10-12) have been unreplied so far.

        I have a sincere advice for all to be away from Berger paints which is a very very poor record of satisfying its customers and is not even educated to reply.Products are just opposite what they claim.

        If you want to waste your money,then only go for berger paints.

        i had purchase berger lumerous H-47 20 Ltr., from their dealer
        m/s natverlal & sons ahmedabad, & made payment accordingly,
        then after while applying their paint we find its substandard as we could not
        apply on surface properly , then we had complain accordingly but not got respose from them.

          I am D K Rohatgi from Lucknow. I am a customer of home painting service of Berger Paints. I have a very poor & shockingly bitter experience of their service. I had given the work of painting my new house to them believing that being a big company they will do an efficient, fast and proper professional work, without indulging in cheap tricks , and treating customer with due regard.
          Unfortunately, all my expectations have proved wrong and the reality is just the opposite. After encashing my cheque for Rs 70000/- paid much in advance , they have started frequently misbehaving, not taking calls, making false promises, deploying untrained painters, no effective supervision, no surface testing, not taking any care to protect other items from paint etc splash, indulging in cheap tricks to cut corners to pocket money and so on. Finally, they have stopped work, and are now demanding all payment before re-starting the work, against the agreement. Their work has been extremely slow—most of the time only one painter had been working, and he too worked for 4-5 hours on a day.
          Contacting all concerned upto very high levels in the company did not make any difference. No one bothered to respond to my emails, SMSs & phone calls. No effective solution was offered by any one. I am incurring a loss of Rs 80000/-, and I am now going to get the work done by some other agency.
          It is my honest opinion that Berger paints may be avoided.

            I purchased 10 ltrs of berger rangoli easy clean paint frombahubali traders of moradabad. When color was put to the wall it was a different color from what was shown in the shade card. The painter accepts it. The shop keeper accepts it. I have lodged the matter with the company also. But no one is resolving the issue and i am being put to loss. Will any body help?

            Dear sir,
            I had painted my new two stored building situated at Kerala, alleppy district kayamkulam in 08 march 2016.

            They promised a lot but when the delivery of service came, it was very poor. They totally violate the contract agreement and escaped work incomplete with 90% of money.

              Dear sir,
              Here I want to inform you that I painted my house with Berger paints last year.I
              purchased only Berger paints worth Rs. 60000 from M/s krishan paints, Delhi road
              ,sonepat haryana-131001.I used Rangoli Easy Clean,Rangoli Super Acrylic Emulsion
              to paint my house. But only after 6 months some part of my house painted with
              Rangoli Easy Clean,Rangoli Super Acrylic Emulsion and weather coat destroyed
              .When I complained about it to M/s Krishan paints ,he visited my house in march of
              this year but did not give satisfactory answer. He gave The contact number of Mr.
              Rajiv a berger paint Representative from haryana.I called many times to Mr. Rajiv
              [protected] from my mobile [protected]( I can produce call details of communication).This person totally misguided me as every time he told that the
              Berger representative will visit my house within 1-2 days. I have spent 4 months
              waiting for the person to inspect my house but no one has turned up till now.
              What is the benefit to paint Berger if such type of quality supplied that spoil
              the name of Berger.
              As no Customer would like to be treated like that, this is going to create a bad
              name for the company in the market space. I therefore request you to look into the
              matter and take necessary actions other wise I have to go to consumer forum for
              the solution.

After my resignation my PF account setteled by company with in stipulated time.But my Pension fund contribuation amount was pending, for this claim I filled up 10-C form and same is deposited in Calcutta PF Office by Berger paints-Calcutta office with Receipt No.2948502 dt.[protected]. But to till date my amout is pending. I have no status for this case.

                  I had given a home painting contract to berger paints,secunderabad in the 1st week of nov,09.On the last day,a glass pane of the tv cabinet was damaged by the painter,who kept quiet about it.We reported the matter and were assured of repair by the manager.I had asked for a copy of the agreement and computerised receipts of payment made,which also have not been given to me.2 months of consistent follow-up have failed to get a response from them.My calls and sms's are not being recd or responded to.Even emails to the head-office have remained unanswered.They are on their best bahaviour only as long as they want our business and money.Their selfishness achieved,the behaviour is disgusting.Moreover,they have to be paid even before the work completion,so that we are left running after them. Readers are requested to make informed decisions and not patronise such ''customer-care''( don't care) companies.

                    Dear Sir,

                    In January, 2009 we had taken the dicision to use the services of Berger Paints to paint our home.
                    We have taken the decision based on the reputation of the company.
                    But the actual service provided was pathetic.
                    Its nearly one year chasing them, through customer compliants through their web portal, but I haven't got any response.
                    The issues are :
                    1.) The job is still incomplete.
                    2.) The finishing was pathetic.
                    3.) Raw material used was of substandard.
                    4.) The wall paint is peeling off, inspite of giving gauranty of one year.
                    5.) They have promised to clean the flours and glass, which was not at all done.
                    Over all it was the wastage of time and money, and we are regretting for the decision and paying extra then what the local painters would have charged.
                    The only thing we have considered was that we would get better and tension free service which was not at all there.
                    So I am writing this email with the hope that may be the higher authorities in the company are not be aware of the actual ground condition and may take the action ASAP.

                    So finally I got the Call from Berger paints Head office, Kolkata in Jan.2010 (after 1 year of the contract and 2 months of the complaint!!).
                    The call was to confirm the address and they has promised to send their representative to look into the issue.
                    But it has been over 3 weeks now, and I haven't heard from them again.
                    So now it is clear that they are aware of the complaint, but they seems to be "the frogs of the same well" - Get the money and leave the consumer regretting.

                    They are riding on their Brand name, but I am sure not for long...

                      Despite telephonic talks with Berger officials to solve the problem, the case is still not undertaken at all and assurance to solve the same is probably of no means by the Berger Paints Company.

                      The contents which I sent to Berger paints earlier are as follows:
                      "I have painted my house with Berger weathercoat and Luxol silk for exteriorand interior recently.
                      The work is still on. To my utter surprise I have bought three times No. 336 for the above color but all colours are different though the colours were mixed by the computer.
                      I am perplexed and my house looks unusual & bizarre with these nonconforming colours."
                      Please look into the matter immediately and resolve the problem."
                      The company did not even thought to reply. I had sent several mails but till date "almost six months gone) , no reply from the company!!!! Can any one suggest what to do??

                        Our Gwalior depot is sick of prejudices and not behaving well with its dealers.They are searching on every Depawali season a new marketing fuda.They are not suppling paint goods saying that you don't have further credit limit
                        First of all I want to say that three years ago they gave me 200000 Rs. Credit limit of paint goods on giving me the second dealership of the town.They also suggested me to install colore bank on finance and a rent of 24000/year for this rural area of Datia which has only 100000 people.Here in this town ,three "color world" of Asian already were in presence.
                        On second year the depot applied is funda without previously informing me.On the peak session they informed me that you don't have enough credit limit to purchase goods if you want to purchase the goods send your post dated cheques.It was the situation of "do or die"for me.at least I send them the cheques.But due to getting late of suppling goods I got lose in business.

                        Again they are ready on the peak session .Why they are applying this funda specially on the season when a shopkeeper do its maximum business.Please think about the dealers especially for color bank dealers who are paying you a handsome of 24000/yea and from rural areas.If they don't do business on the session how can they pay the sum.
                        Who will pay the lose of business of dealers and mine.How can we give strength to Berger retail counters .? Please make a middle way to remove the awe full situation for dealers.
                        Answer me only in 24 hours.

                        Ref. to my previous mail as below company is not taking any step. pls, look after this matter.
                        Your company's Area Sales Manager, Mr. S.M.Q.Khan with his team in Patna contacted me on 30.05.2009. He tried to explain me that the number and the shade card of the company has changed. But the fact is, after my personal enquiry and the enquiry carried out by your authorized dealer, the shade and the color code provided by your company has not changed since 2004 till date and this is recorded in your software provided to all of your authorized dealer countrywide. You are also well aware with this fact.
                        Please do not misguide me with lame excuses of change in colour code. The actual problem is with the "sample color shade" in which your company has entered wrong shade number. Inspite of looking into the core problem, your company personnel is misguiding me with different excuses. By knowing my qualification and the nature of my job, your company should not waste their time and my valuable time in creating excuses of no use. I specifically requested Mr. S.M.Q. Islam to be specific and whatever observation he has to convey me on behalf of the company should be in black and white, which he promised to do so. Later on in my absence (as I was outstation) your staff inspected my building, interacted with my staff and concluded that my building was repainted with Asian paint with the same color I selected from the "color sample shade" provided by your company. Till date I have heard nothing from your company. It seems that your company is not interested to entertain my request to compensate for my losses which i have demanded in my earlier mail. Now I understand that your company personnel is prompting me to avail my consumer right through proper channel. I still hope that the company of your status is fortified with some competent staff who can solve my problem amicably.

Till date I have heard nothing from your company. It seems that your company is not interested to entertain my request to compensate for my losses which i have demanded in my earlier mail. Now I understand that your company personell is prompting me to avail my consumer right through proper channel.                         Dear Sir

                        I, Ranjan Kumar approached your dealer M/S Prem Hardware, Nala Road, Patna – 800001, for purchase of Berger Exterior Paint for my fully owned G+4 building “SHIV GANGA APARTMENT” at New Chodhary Tola, Patna – 800006. Your sales person visited my appt. and later on sent catalogue of three different sample shades through post. I selected colour scheme 3 from the suggested sample catalogue as per the attachment.

                        Your dealer supplied me the total quantity of paints as per the codes in the attached sample catalogue provided by you by issuing a proper bill. When the painter applied the paint on the surface then the colour code mentioned in the catalogue did not match its color shown in the catalogue. Actually the company has provided me the wrong code in colour scheme 3 which is not matching its shown colour which I have selected.

                        When I contacted your TSI, Mr. Prashant Kr. Singh, he has on record said that the company has changed the color code and the shade only for the colour scheme 3 which I have selected. He behaved rudely with me and also with your dealer. It seems that he and your company is not interested to solve my problem.

                        I am a chief engineer working abroad. When I came to India in vacation, I saw that the colour of the building is different from the shade I ordered. Now I have contacted Asian Paints Ltd., who has assured me to change the color of my building as per my choice and selection. Therefore I request you to reimburse and compensate for the wrong shade supplied by the company, transportation cost and the labour charges within a month., failing which, I will have no option other than to take proper legal action as per the law laid down by Republic of India to protect consumer rights.

                        All the officials of Berger specially of Patna Centre are non than worse. When I made the complain they virtually uninterestingly advised me that the matter will be taken of by visiting the site.
                        And the site visit is going to be completed its 6 months!!!
                        Worst dealing of consumer i ever had?

                          I gave a painting order for my residence to M/s Berger paints and also gave advance cheques to them. They promised a lot but when the delivery of services came, it was nothing but zero. The walls were badly painted. No rubbing, No Patti No preparation of the walls. My four rooms were painted within 6-7 days. When I objected they said that this is the only thing they can do and this is as per contract.

                          Luckily, I could get the final payment stopped. But this company wala did not budge. They stopped my work . They suggested that since whatever money you have paid the work is done, Now you give the left over work to some body else. Well, after waiting for around a week, I gave the leftover job to a local contractor. Well he did a excellent job and that too at almost the same rates.

                          What a shame on this company. I am going to a file a complaint with comsumer forum. I would like that nobody should deal with this company for their Home painting services

                          Berger oficials are as non responsive like their quality of paints.I am also a sufferer and my complain was informed to them 6 months back and several reminders have no impact on them. Surprising.

                          Dear All,

                          I am from Kalyan (Thane) recently before two months(April 2016) i have done painting work at kalyan, there are some stuff pending which your executive said that we will complete the same when we will be at my home for Texture design and now it has 2 months completed but that work is still pending.

                          Done multiple follow ups with executive. What should i do now ?
