I was BSNL broad band home 500 combo plan consumer since last several years complaining for excess bill for limited use and opt broad band home 299 plan since 15 May 2012 as suggested by BSNL staff at Sahganj Agra.

I was astonished to see the Jun 2012 bill due for payment Rs. 1500 despite of no previous due.

Request to help by me immediate disconnection only.

Data One Broadband — unauthorised access of account and access billing

I have taken a broadband connection from 25-07-07 from BSNL Indiranagar , Bangalore office on tele no.[protected].From the month of Aug 2007 I am being charged for the access download which I have not accessed at all. We are four member family and children are studing and out from home from 0700 hrs till 1700hrs . the same case with me as I am serving and out from home from 0700hrs till 1700 or some time 1900 hrs . my wife is only at home and she does not know abcd of computer. password is known to me only and enternet is accessed with my presence and permission only . On checking my accout I find that my account is accessed at odd hours in the night and day times when nobody is available.also it is noticed that it is being accessed for 10 to 12 hours some days.
I had complained this matter to Public Grivancess officer Indiranagar office in the month of sep 2007 . But still no action has been taken and no ammount is being refunded to me instead the bills for the months of sep ,oct &nov2007 have been inflated to Rs. 2234/-. I am finding my account is being accessed for more than 2 GB per month by some one .
It is my humble request that to refund access amount billed on my phone and take steps to prevent unauthorised use of my account.

i want to complain for access billing.i had got bill of 2500 in the month of april and again 6048 in the month of may.i haven't use this much of broadband.kindly check out the problem.

data one home plan 250 — abnormal and exess bill amount

I have installed BB connection on 5/9/2007 under home 250 scheme. my only daughter who uses the BB only in the night for an hour or two, since she is busy in her studies and out of house mostly in daytime.i am surprised and shocked to see the bill for Rs2191/-in the month of june to july.since installation and till may2008 i am receiving bills not more than RS500/-. so how come a single user without any download can expect this abnormal bill for asingle month.kindly look into the matter very seriously and urgently.my BB no 22263999.

B.S.N.L. Dataone — Excess unexplainable bill charged

i have subscribed for the Broadband service with 500C plan which include rental free landline service and 175 free calls from the month of May but incpite of that i have been charged for the rental for the month of May and Jane and have received only 50 free calls for the months my consumer no. is 125530.
Enclosed is the letter that we have send to the department after we received the false bill. But till now no action has been taken. Instead they have send us a notice for payment of outstanding dues of telephone bills.

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your knowledge that I received the above mentioned bill on 13th of Oct’ 07. I was surprised to see the amount of the bill which was Rs. 33712.00 out of which the amount of internet usage is Rs. 29509.91. This broadband connection is in my office and the type of business I am in the question of so much usage does not arise. After seeing the service records it has been seen that the usage has been done through the nights and the days and also on Sundays. Our office hours are from morning 10.00 am to night 9 pm roughly from Mondays to Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays. Our phone was out of order from 11th of oct 07’ and to 13th of oct’07. I had personally gone to lodge the complain of faulty telephone to the Hakimpara office around 2pm after receiving the bill so that if the service is restored then I will be able to see the service records. Now how can the internet be accessed when the line is not working. I have been regularly changing my passwords also so the question o[censored]sage by some one else also does not arise. I change the passwords and it is not leaked to any one else this is what I can assure you.
For your information this should also be noted that I had changed my password also on 13th of oct. ’07 at around 3 pm by accessing the internet through my mobile GPRS connection. But from the service records it is seen that the usage has not stopped.
I am also attaching the prints of service records from which you will be able to assess that it is completely absurd and not practical. For example on 2007/10/12 the start time is 8.44.49 and the stop time is on 2007/10/13 and note the time which is 8.44.49. Is it practical and possible ? Then take the case of dated 2007/09/13 and 2007/09/17. It shows that the time has overlapped. It has been marked with red pen for your clarification. From this few points it is very clear that there is some fault in your system.
This is something from which you will also understand that this is something ridiculous and unprecedented. If something of this goes on then the faith of general public to the Indian telecom department will be lost.
I would request you to take immediate action and see that this matter is taken care o[censored]rgently. I have lost my mental peace after receiving the bill and I have lost faith in your department. I do not have so much of money to pay the bill. This is a very difficult situation for me I would like you to help me come out of this grim situation.

Data One Broadband — Clarification on the telephone bill for january 2009

was a bb user under plan 250 and changed to home ul 500 plan from december 2008. An application for the same was given on the 15th of december and i was told that the new plan will come into effect from january 2009, but while surfing the official data one website on the 29th of december 2008 i saw that the plan had already been changed to home ul 500. On seeing this i started downloading and now the bill for january 2009 has come showing an amount of Rs 8502 to be paid by 29/01/2009. Please clarify the details. [Specially the bb usage charge of Rs 7100.10 which seems to be appaling]. Kindly give an immediate clarification/details of the complaint lodged.

BSNL Broadband — anomalies in bill

i am using BSNL broadband since may 08, under the plan UL750 plus, which stated that i will not be charged for monthly rental of landline. but in all the bills received i am charged for monthly rentals also. since last october i have not paid the bill, coz despite my application to AO(cash) dhanbad, the bills are not corrected.
my services are disconnected since december. now i want to discontinue the service but still i cant do it unless my bills are paid.
please help.

i am nrupal using broadband bsnl since last years first of all this people are not giving downloading speed and else they are charging extra.

we are using plan of 250 which gives 1gb free and our usage is only 648 mb and they have charged 250 rs more i dont get it why?

please take some immediate actions.

Dataone Broadband Internet Surat Telecom — Excess billing of Broadband internet usage of free trial offer.

All the usage during the free trial offer of internet connection for 15 days along with unlimited download has been billed by the BSNL Surat Telecom, Gujarat Circle. Despite the complaint been registered on 27-5-09 my complaint still remain unanswered and unsettled.
For 10 days i got the bill of 1600 . I have 2.5 GB free in which i used 2.3 GB . bbusgchg in my bill is more . plz provide proper way to solve this issue.

I opted for BSNL Broadband plan of 1 GB @ Rs. 250/Month. I used 872MB last month so my bill should be 250+ taxes. but bsnl has sent me a bill of rs 585! what should i do. I should have not trusted a govt company and instead i should have taken an airtel connection.
I am a user of data one broadband.
First time when i installed data one modem, they charge me Rs 4100 for installation and told me that this is modem charge and 2 month advance rent of Rs 1350 (Unlimited). Now they send me the phone bill which included of sucurity deposit of Rs 1500 apx. and told me Broadband bill will be more.

I am a broadband user along with the basic landline service. I am in the home125 plan with mimimal usage and the bill paid for the internet usage will always be within the monthly rent amount of rs. 125.
But unfortunately, my bill for the month of march shows an internet usage of rs. 862 which is incorrect.
Request you to check the same from your end for the anomaly in the bill and do the needful to correct and rewrite my bill. If possible pls send me the detail bill for my broadband usage for the bill dated 07/03/2010.

BSNL — BSNL Excess Bill

Dear Sir,

I had got a connection at lastweek of march, I have went to this connection (Combo Home Plan 500c) becoz 15 days unlimited usage from the day of installation, so we used 15 days unlimited manner. Meanwhile i have checked with custmore care about this offer whether is it applicable for this plan or not, they said it is applicable and you could download till end of the 15 days from the installion , they will deduct the amount when billing amount has send they added.

But when i saw the bill today for the april month . i got shocked very much. Please revert back to me asap.

My self Ram narain, having BB connection[protected] at Vejalpur Ahemadabad. I have choosed to pay the bill on line automatically through my ICICI Bank A/C. by mistake i have paid the bill of Rs. 708 in cash to Ahemdabad tlecom district vide recept no. [protected] dated27.09.10, with the impression that the payment automatically start from next month, but when i check my ICICI A/c, it was noticed that payment of RS. 708 already debited from my A/c on 24.09.10. Hence I had made double payment for the bill. Hence I request Your Good Self to make me a refund of Rs. 708 By way of Cheque on account of double payment and oblige.

First of all it is not a complaint, but a request. I have opt to pay my BB[protected] bill on line automatically through my ICICI A/c and was under impressionthat it will take effect from next month, so I paid the bill Rs. 708 in cash to Ahemdabad Tecom District vide rec. no. [protected] dt. 27.09.10.But when I checked my account i found that the bill amount of Rs. 708 has already been debited from my account automatically on 24.09.10. Hence by my own mistake i have made double payment, hence it is requested that i may be refunded Rs. 708 or adjusted against the forthcoming bill and oblige.

i have received online bill for month Nov 2010 which include broadband installation charges rs. 250 but as per bsnl promotional offers installation charges is waived off during 01-oct-2010 to 15-nov-2010. and when i checked my demand notice (demand ID-175406) online it does not include installation charges.

Dear sir,

As my broad band usage for last 2 months are billed on very much on higher side, with out usage.

As details show that 14gb data/packets sent/uploaded. which is impractical. and data received is just around 2Gb.

The bill for 2 months is around Rs.8000. but with out that much usage.

If it was in a unlimited usage it would be just around Rs.1500

And plz take a look of our records of past one year, and this seems to be on very much higher side.

We cannot pay this amount, because we have not used that much of 8k.

Usually what will be the credit limit. How do i know that my credit limit has exceeded.

Plz consider this matter at the earliest.

    My landline with no[protected] is dead from past 10 days. I had registered a complaint by dialing 197 using some other telephone. Till now no action has been taken.

    I also have Broadband connection (Home 500 plan). The net connection was very good till last month. Recently I am having problems with contineous connection. Net gets disconnected for every 10-15mins and after some time it connects back. This is very disturbing. I request BSNL authorities to rectify these issues as early as possible.

    Please note that my landline[protected] has been dead for the past 8-9 months. All the complains to the loving BSNL authorities fall on deaf ears.
    They kept sending me bills for the past 8 months, however this month they have sent me a NIL bill...I suppose they realize that their poor landline is providing no service to me at all. Now they sending me a NIL bill justifies that the phone is dead for long & they need to do something about it-----HELLO HADAPSAR EXCHANGE---SDE are you listening.....I need service (working phone) not a NIL bill to satisfy my complaints. Incase they can't provide the service, they are free to come and collect their handset from my residence & pay me my deposit.

    My landline telephone is dead since 17/10/2010. I had registered complain regarding same on 198. Than several times i had spoken with Officers sitting in Fetex Exchange. I had spoken with Mr B.R Singh (Customer Grievance on [protected]) and Mr. Jaiswal (Fetex Exchange Incharge) on [protected]. They both replied me that they are on leave for 15 days.     Landline is dead not working since one month..
    My residential line is dead most of the times. Unless I take time and go and complain in person it does not get fixed. Once fixed, it mearly lasts for 1-2 weeks and then it is back to the same old issue.

    Complaint docket number is 000252. No action is taken since it has been logged other than closing my docket without fixing my problem.

    When I called the general numebr, I am told that the cable has a fault and to call Mr. Chaudhary who does not pick up his phone - [protected].

    My BSNL landline [protected] is dead from one month!!. Repeated complaints to local exchange was of no use. I am a BSNL customer from past 15 years and its an OYT connection. I have a unlimited broadband connection associated with it from past 5 years. I am using annual payment option. Recently there was a road repair in my area and the BSNL cable was damaged. The local exchange is not ready to replace the cable. The responsible higher officials ( JE and DE) reacted in a non professional way. They spoke very rudely telling they cant come, dig and lay cables. If they are charging 800+ per month then they are responsible to provide the service. (I dont mind if they come and dig). I have paid bill till next year april. I want my connection to be restored soon and two months bill to be refunded.

    am an esteemed customer of BSNL bearing the above mentioned number. Since last 3 months the land line dead. Even after lodging complaints many times with the respective exchange as well as district SSA, to date no action has been taken. To fire up the agony, they are asking us to replace the land line with WLL, which am not interested at all. They officers wash their hands saying the linemen are lazy and dont want to work, in retaliation the workers says they dont have enough stock of cables to repair, junctions cannot be found etc.. Please find attached herewith my telephone bill, just in case.

    My landline phone[protected] is dead for almost one month. I complaint several times to the Exchange chargeman after 3weeks when i complaint first, he came and do the repair. After 4 days again the landline is dead. I am again complaint to the chargeman, now more than a week ago the fault shouldn't be rectified. The maintenance and customer service is very worst form BSNL.       My BSNL landline no. 25491509 is dead from 18th January,2012 till today. I had complaints several times to exchange, even raised online complaint in bsnl portal, complaint no.[protected]. Till date, no communication from bsnl dum dum exchange as to when the connection will be restored. I have been paying bills till April and discontinued paying further bills of May and June. If the landline is dead from january, then why is bsnl sending bills for the same. My total outstanding bill amount is Rs910 and i will not pay any amount to bsnl untill and unless my telephone line is restored. Pls treat my issue as urgent as i am disconnected for 6 months now..

          BSNL — Bills not being delivered

          Respected Sir/Madam,

          The landline bills are not being delivered to our Home address and everytime we have contact the main branch and get a duplicate bill to pay the amount. There has been a change of address updated to offices at the main office, the branch office and there is no signs of the address being changed on the bill and it is still sent with the old address updated. The irony is that when we request for the duplicate bill the address is correct. We are fed up of writing letters about the same issue.

          Kindly check if this concern can be resolved as soon as possible.

                Sir,

                As I have already stated in the subject of complaint that one pickpocketing agencies without authentic address regularly pickpocketing holding numbers 54000010/55888015. These remote numbers did not receive any reply message nor receive call and every time response is coming as number does not exist. But these numbers are sending some unwanted messages and after 3/4 days theysend message indicating that Rs. 15 charged in my account. Thus without my consent Rs. 100 or even more is being charged in every month. I cannot unsubscribe or undo the service due to non receiving of the message by the remote numbers.
                This is happening in approval of BSNL and they are charging me in every month and making the payment to the remote pickpocketor against commission. Mind that I have authorised BSNL to levy call charges on me at the end of a month and I am bound by agreement to make such payment. But Public corporate proceeded to make agreement with a pickpocketor to receive unholy commission from him against my interest. How a public enterprise can make alliance with a remote unauthentic and dishonest agency and realising amount from me without my consent.Inspite of my best efforts I could not communicate with 54000010/55888015
                Such unethical alliance with remote address can not be a public corporate policy of BSNL. BSNL should limit its activities to deliver connectivity service and can not go for unholistic alliance with dishonestand addressless numbers which are engaged in mal-practice being from a remote address. These are beyond norms of IRDA.
                I am suffering financial loss in every month and bound to reach to the regulatory authority IRDA after a lapse of 15 days with allegation against public corporate for such unholistic alliance with remote agencies. Please look ito the issue.

                      Distributor purchases the sim from bsnl office & sell it in local market on high rates & activates the sim in 10 days period taking the money advance from customer. Does Bsnl Bhusawal office sells sim in open markets to such retailers who haress the customers and activate the sim in 10 days period, on the other hand Bsnl denies the direct customer in office as there is no sim available in department.

Even after 10 days no body attended the job.After much efforts,I contacted the BSNL Grievance cell[protected] on 21.06.12.The person in Grievance cell had assured that the job will be completed by one or two days.But no body attended the job so far,Mean time on 26.06.12, I got an SMS from "BSNL Care"saying that your request for telephone shifting has completed.(With out attending/completing the job)

                            Whom so ever it may concern, please be informed that its been more than 3 months that the land line is dead, if we go ask in the BSNL office nobody response properly and we have also paid the bill up to date there is no pending, people who are sitting in the Kormangala office as well as in Hosa road(parappana agrahar) office ask us to get the paid bill and if we go to them they just say that they'll send the line man but later nobody turns, we have also been given few number i.e.,[protected] & 26541500 these numbers will be busy always and even if it rings nobody will pick up the call.

                            i have been continuously calling them and complaining regarding the same . but every time they have the same excuse that it will get fine in a day or two. since broadband is not working my work has been suffering a lot.                             I did nothing even after paying more than 5000 Rs as Bill because i thought this problem will soon get fixed, but today i got new bill which is about 600 Rs.

                              I wanted to use BSNL 3G on my data-card and I have activated a plan worth Rs. 450 on 21-June-2012 (which supposed to provide me 3G with 2GB usage).
                              But I am getting speed of 2G (10 to 20KBPS). When I contacted online BSNL customer care on [protected], they said, they can see a 2G plan has been activated on my number ([protected]) and issue would be resolve in 24 hrs.
                              I got call from BSNL in next 12 hrs and I was shocked when he said, "Sir, your 2G plan is working fine, we don’t see any issue with this so we are going to close your complaint here".
                              I asked him again for confirmation (I thought he said 2G instead 3G by mistaken) but he damn sure replied a 2G plan is running from your number.
                              I (again...) express my deep sorrow to let him know that I am expecting 3G plan when I made a recharge of 450Rs.
                              And he said, he is not authorized to manually change plan to 3G from his system. He keep saying that "I can’t do anything from my end" and "inconvenience is regretted" and so on...
                              Finally he said "I am going mark your complaint as SOLVED", please do call customer service again and register new complaint. (Call ended instantly with no reason.)

                              Here I want to ask, "Where are Consumer Rights?" Should I keep registering complaint all the time and they just forcefully mark it as solved even if it hasn't been solved?
                              Somebody please let me know what should I do?

                              I changed my broadband plan from business combo 1000 to unlimited home combo. as per bsnl tariff card I should be getting 450 free calls. BSNL dudes still arrent giving me the free calls as per the tariff card. The customer service is unreachable and whenever they are reachable they would hang up after a while.

                                I feel very sorry  to inform you that I have felt,I have been cheated by you i.e.support.[protected]@hungama.com, when I have been informed by your one of the officials that he had called me and talked to me on 11.08.2011 at 5.00 p.m. and have accepted your offer and given my consent  for your  Music on Demand Monthly Plan.

                                Please note that I am  not at all  interested in any such offers or plans and I have neither  accepted your offer nor  given any consent for the same on my mobile or telephone .( If you have any proof of my acceptance with you, you may provide )
                                I only came to know about this when I saw debit amount against this plan in my telephone bill.Â

                                I have further to inform you that legally you have not taken any permission for me to apply this plan and have illegally started debiting charges to my bills.

                                Your official says that I have given my consent to this plan or offer in August-2011 but sir,the service charges are debited in my bill from April-2012,how this can be possible ?

                                Looking to this it seems that You both, BSNL  & Hangama have started business to cheat the  and collect the funds from the innocent people of India.

                                Now I request you to cancel or disconnect  or stop whatever you say, Music on Demand Plan or Offer from my phone and stop debiting any amount against this offer with effect from to-day i.e. from 27.06.12 on wards, otherwise I will be forced to take legal actions again you or to approach Grahak suraksha Vibhag to get justice.Â

No one in the BSNL office at Nawanshahr knows what to do and how to get it unsuscribe. I wonder How can they charge me without getting my permission for the subscription of the facility.                                     On following up with Telephone line man ...then Junior engineer and a host of other people(its a circus out there) got to know that problem was due to faulty cable. When we did go to the exchange to talk to the engineer he did say that problem will be fixed in 2 days.

                                    I am from Dadri G.B Nagar.

                                    I have requested a BSNL BroadBand connection and that was installed at my place 04/09/2009. It worked fine only for 2-3 days. And now it is out of order, BSNL Modem is also fault. I called in the Dadri exchange at [protected] to log a complaint three times. The person who was logging the complaint, was not aware about what is BSNL Broabband even. He just noted down my landline No. on behalf of my complaint and ask if some one comes will let him know about the complaint comes from this number. No one come to me to resolve the problem.

                                    BSNL Broadband Plan is unlimited (Fix INR 750.00 + landline change).

                                      Have been paying the bill regularly and still they are deducting it. I am in Australia and my parents are at home. The Phone number is[protected].
                                      They paid something like 600 Rs for an year and bill is getting deducted everytime. May be thats why BSNL doesnt bother about connecting back. My father went to the local authorities 3-4 times and they are telling they havent got any workers. I was telling him to cancel the connection cos its more than 2 months now. Is there anything can be done with that?
