i am deeply harassed by the services and inappropriate behaviour by BSNL.Last month in august they activated a value added service namely "my mobile tv" and deducted a balance of RS40.i put a complaint on the customer care and was assured of a solution.But solution is far away thing,same service got activated again after 7 days.Registering a complaint didnot help so i decided to put an email online as well as think of going to consumer forum.But on 30th august,out of the RS80 deducted,I was refunded Rs60 by BSNL chandigarh,with an apology on phone so i dropped the idea of filing a suite.But the company BSNL has lost all its shame.In 1st week of september again RS40 deucted for the same thing.Putting a complaint was useless but still I did and result was same.! week after that RS40 were deucted again.I again put the complaint but to no use as RS 40 were deducted again on 24th september and customer care is just useless..I have made up my mind to drag BSNL to the court because it has caused me lot of mental harassment.

BSNL — Undue deduction of balance

I recieved a call from an unknown number which, owing to my being unavailable, I was unable to attend to. When I called that number back, it turned out to be BSNL ring back tune number. I disconnected immidiately. In spite of this, I have gotten an EXTREMELY ANNOYING ring back tune from BSNL. Not only this, I am also charged about 30 odd rupees every 15-20 days, for 'renewal' of my 'entertaining' ring back tune. I am as irritated with this as one can be.

What I want is not just that I be relieved of this problem, but companies with unscruplous means like these to cheat their customers be fined and punished.

Please look into this matter.

    But, I am unble to complete the payment of my BSNL land phone by using SBI internet facilities on 23.09.2011.The Transaction ID : TX[protected]

    AMOUNT = Rs 590.00.
    Further,I am unable to avail internet facilities since last few days,where as land line coneection are there.please intervene into the matter and do needful from your end.

      My Landline[protected],i have broadband connection from 2 years by BSNL.. But the problem is Broadband DSL signal disconnection from the Bsnl ..i complianed many times to Bsnl but they didnt solve this problem.. i am paying monthly 750RS for broadband 750unlimited plan.. I am facing problem from 4 months.. i complained to bsnl number 1500... they didnt respod to my problem...

        My Land Line Telephone Number is[protected] which was not working for the past three days. I have registered my complaint directly to the BSNL EXCHANGE In my Town. But it is not rectified till date.Kindly take necessary action to rectify the fault as early as posible.

        Monga — Land line problem

        HI,

        My land line has a problem since last one month and every day we are complaining about the same to BSNL, and their line checks and says there is no problem with line and after that again the line gets problem, there is lot of disurbance in the line we request their line man to check the instrument but they don't reply to that, i know my instrument is ok but why this people are not able to solve this problm god knows or they only knows and without making any out going calls by this no. still we get the bill showing the 200 calls, from where and who made this call, we have doubt that somebody is connecting wire to our line,

        lets hope will come out of this headache soon or will discontiune this service...

        i hope this mail will work to take the corrective action...

        BSNL Landline phone — improper working of bsnl landline phone & carelessness of the staff on it.

        My landline no.is[protected], its not working since two weeks, i have submitted the complaint to customer care[protected] on 22nd onwards but they did not show any interest on it.besides they give me another number which i tried alot but noone was answering that, the number given to me was[protected].The people doing the job of customer care at bsnl office beside guiding us they used to misguide us and even use harsh language.
        I really request to look upon the matter and teach a lesson to people(or staff) responsible for this act.

        BSNL — telephone unserviceable

        Dear Sir,

        I applied for land line connection on 15 Sep 10 for Broadband. Telephone No 2370027 is connected at my residence on 24 Sep 10, it was noisy and intermittently dial tone is coming, then I inquired from lineman he told that just I will make it alright but line is still faulty. Broadband modem is provided on 28 Sep 10 due to line faulty it is also not working. In this regard I spoken to JE , TT but no use. I tried to contact to lineman but not responding. I visited the civil exchange personally 2-3 times and mentioned the fault in the register kept with Guard. I booked the fault on telephone fault booking no 1500 vide doket no. GR[protected] dated 27 Sep 10. But no action is taken till now.

        It is request that kindly intervene for early action.

        i have landline no.-[protected] is not working last one month. i have done compaint several times but no one bother to come & chk.

        Sir. I already submit a request to your office last month (4 july 2012) for transfer my land line connection from Oottupara to Payynamon .The line number was [protected]. But still not get the Telephone connection. My self went there four time about get connection.
        This is the complaint against the BSNL kuthuparamba, Kannur dist exchange employees that my land line phone number [protected] has not working since 15 days (september 15th onwards). I informed in kuthuparamba exchange and some one came into my house, but they failed to recover the problem and went off. The problem was still continuing without any improvement. Most of the days I called them, but they repeat the same answer that there was no employee available to repair. In this mobile age also I have been paying the rent for my convenience since last 15 years. I asked them that it is not not working even I am paying the rent also, their reply was joke "we will deduct the rent if you given a written complaint".those employees does not have the customers inconvenience and even they did not say single apologies word. Is it a correct method to handle the customer? or they insists the customers to convert them to private connection? So I wanted to recover the problem with my phone and solve it very soon. Otherwise I will take a legal action and put a complaint in consumer court with 48 hrs

        Dear Sir,

        I am holder of BSNL Landline, No:[protected] since 20 years using the same, recently we built up a new house beside of our old house, So normally we need the connection shifting to the new house.But unfortunately they are not done the same as of now, for that from the past 3 months, Several times we contacted(Direct & By Mobile Phone Mr.Manoj) BSNL Konni Office, Junor Telecom Operator, Mr.Manoj & his team members Ladies Staff over there.Still not rectified the complaint.their behavior is just like fuedal madambi style, they were considered the customers as slaves.Initial time they were told that the sufficient underground cable is not there stock, But several times we noticed the same cable from the BSNL Konni Combound.After that we realized they were take revenge against me, its because i made the complaint against them in the Pathanamthitta BSNL Office, Concerned Officer Mr.Ninan and Thiruvalla BSNL Office General Complaints, General Manager Complaint Section, Send personal Complaint to his Email Id, We several times take attention to Mr.Ninan(Pathanamthitta BSNL Office) for the same complaint.But now we realized he is helpless, So we are in trouble.Awaiting your immediate action on the same.

        We have BSNL Land line phone for long time, number is[protected], this phone was not working more than one year, but we complained many time, they are not ready to rectify the problem, in the mean time unnecessarily we paid phone bill without delayed.
        Last week i went to telephone sub engineer office in Nagapattinam, regarding for complaint we given written statement for failure of land line, later two peoples came and check the line after that they told, it will not resolved with us, better ask sub engineer office. later i went to office nobody there and i made call to incharge, they will not attended my call. so please take this matter seriously to rectify the problem, because we are working in shipping company, they called land line, but its not working, so loose the job on the time . so please take action to rectify this issue as soon as possible..
        BSNL not responding to any complaints Their cable jointers are in strike, Dearth of manpower and their contract employees are under paid. Working level peoples are aged. Lot many problems going on in BSNL. At this stage BSNL is the only service provider offering reasonable rate and wide coverage. I think a systematic plan is going on to salvage BSNL. Almost no body is working.

            Hello Sir,

            I am raising new complaint for the same problem. I have given an application against discontinuation of Phone and Broadband connection. Application is given on 27th July 2011, and today is 22nd Sep 2011. This is the approximately 2 month over, but I am still receiving the bill for the connection. I am very frustrated with BSNL people, then are Incorporated in nature. I had shifted to Hyderabad on Aug 1st, So An urgent request is given to receive the instrument, But these people are not taken it, finally this month I went there and given them the instruments, and again one application submitted.
            This week I again called them and received an answer that you have not applied for disconnection of phone no. If it so then why these peoples has accepted the phone instruments.

            Please Please Please tell the BSNL people that I can't afford this to go to Bangalore and talking that people. Please refund the deposted money AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

                I am a customer of BSNL unlimited broadband service and I pay Rs. 750 every month for this but I did not get proper service from their sight. My ADSL unstable from 20/4/2011 and for this matter I docate time to time and they did not solve the problem permanently. Last I docate on 27/8/2011 and the docate no. is B7486 but they did not take any steps against this docate till now. Now I feel helpless but I pay their bill every month without their service. Please take the necessary acction as early as possible. Thank you,

                  I have msg. to register my Mob. No in Do Not Disturb category on 20/7/2011 at 18.15hrs. with sending message to 1909 with text START0 but till date the msg's of company's are comming and disturbing me as well as my important save msg,s are deleted due to capacity of mobile Inbox . Several times approaching to customer care they replied that the system will be started after 90 days as that time is also over then also the msg's as well as calls are coming regularly of share marketing,holiday packages, bollywood songs, etc.

                    Deactivation of Caller Tune

                    My BSNL mobile NO. is [protected]. On 06.09.11 I've made a complaint having Sl.No. I06WB969427 regarding deactivation of ear-displeasing Caller Tune ( I've not chosen that song) and that request was kept on processing till renewal date.
                    They can activate the CT instantly, but for deactivation taking perpetual time. on 13th September i received an SMS about auto-renewal date of CT i.e. on 15.09.11 and chargeable...

                    BSNL is giving full talk time + validity in 300 or above , But i was confuse this offer is for top up or recharge, so i asked Customer Service Center about the same matter dated 21.09.11 before 5 pm ( between 1pm to 5 pm). He told me you do recharge not top up, according to CSC i recharged my mobile No. [protected] of 300 Rs., But i not get full talk time it gives BSNl to BSNL free calls for one month with zero balance. I didn't required of that. For the above case i am again called to CSC then Mr. Jayesh Sharma (BSNL CSC) handle this matter and told that we will solve your problem as soon as possible. But Problems is not solved yet. not i have called CSC from my No. [protected].
                    Recharge Details:-
                    u/r BSNL a/c is credited with Rs. 300 as Recharge from [protected] on 21/09/2011 at 03:24:23 PM hours. Ref No. 78624768.

                    BSNL GSM Prepaid — Very Poor Connectivity & Call Drop

                    We are BSNL Mobile User from last 5 + Years.

                    We have 10 BSNL Nos in my family. We all are using Prepaid Service.
                    There are attractive plans from BSNL.

                    BUT CONNECTIVITY IS VERY VERY POOR.
                    CALL DROP IN A VERY MAJOR ISSUE WITH BSNL MOBILE SERVICE.

                    Why BSNL is is failing in srevice part.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I had a BSNL Land Line telephone no.[protected] on my residence with a Broadband connection. While installation of the B/B I was provided with a mail ID: [protected]@dataone.in which was being used by me for long.

                      Lately due to necessity I requested to the BSNL authorities for shifting of the phone to a new adjacent location (opposite House - Rented) during March 2011.

                      The connection was immediately snapped off and subsequently after a vigorous followup it was reinstated at the new location in about a week but to our dismay my above mail ID is not yet reinestated even after a lapse of around 180 days.

                      I am unable to understand the reason as well as the technicality involved in reinstating my mail ID when there has been no change in the Telephone No or the Telephone connecting wire or the DP or anything else except for the change of place of the phone.

                      I have been following up but no action is foreseen.

                      My humble request is firstly my mail ID be reinstated and secondly the person(s) responsible in handing this issue be warned seriously so that the services are rendered properly to the customers and not taken for ransom or else people will lose faith from Govt. bodies.

                        Hi - I moved to Purva Panorama , Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore last Nov 2010 from Hyderabad and have taken BSNL connection for my internet and landline use. Since then, my phone is dead atleast twice a week on an average for the past 10 months. They always comeup with a lame excuse that there is come digging going on and thats the reason the wire is getting disconnected. I pay Rs900 per month only for the broadband plan and I can hardly use it because most of the time it is not working. I cant assure my office that I can work from home because of thia. Kindly help me where should I escalate it further.

                        my land telephone is under Temathani exchange of Balichak jurisdiction of Kharagpur Circle. it frequently goes out of order and after repeated request the exchange people come & rectify that and within some days it goes again out of order. Now from June 2011 it happened so and after waiting (verbal and through mobile request done) some days a complain was lodged (vide no. 51 of 3/7/11 in the log book kept in the said exchange) but in vain and again another complain lodged (vide no. 40 of 8/9/11 in the same log book) and even through telephonic request it is still lying dead. As a last resort i approach ur good self for early rectification as it is very important phone and outside calls are received through this having no alternate land line (my alternate no for communication is [protected]). thanks

                          Hi, I am from chennai. Shifted house from Saligramam to Valsravakkam. My husband went to BSNL office. Filled the shifting form. AE said that shifting process will be completed within 2 days, but there was no response from BSNL office. 2nd day morning we reminded them on the shifting connection ,there was no response. 3rd day my hubby again went and asked on this, they came by 3, and very much eager in getting the money for providing wiring connections. They did so many wiring connections and left , while my sister got a call(we were not in house) asking if line is up and she said yes when asked for new number , that person said we will update in an hour(still 1 hour didn't complete for them). that day evening line is dead :-(. Called to toll-free number, no proper response, then got exchange numbers from that person for that new area, From 4th day, Called them ring went on no one is there to pick-up the call. Finally they picked up the call and that guy i explained entire story he says who said your line is up , u didn't even get connection, here we have "system failure you wont get it soon" . I asked can u approximately let us know when can we expect he is asking what i studied and criticizing me. when trying to explain he immediately put it on-hold and till now no response.
                          Really don't go for BSNL connections , got really fed-up with their activities

                              re 1 sotore service & rs 5 deducted by my balance i have called to bsnl custumer care for resolving the problem but they didnt give me right answer for this value added service when i sent unsub message to 54646 when rs 2 deducted from my balance & total rs 7 i have lost but i didnt apply for this type value added service i saw on internet many people are surfing from this type problem plese do something for resolving the issue because cell companies are deducting charges without any information to custumer

                                I am Gauri Gandhi staying at Row House No.3, Rohit Residencies , Baner (Opposite Kapil

                                Baner Telephone Exchange is not giving proper service .

                                My Telephone number 27290703 ....was facing disturbance since last 2 months . On 8th July 2011 I made complaint No.000914 .
                                Now my telephone is completely dead since past more than 3 weeks . I made complaint No 1442 ...but no action .

                                Yesterday I have made another complaint No.1692 ........my previous complaints No's 914 and 1442... they seem to have closed without attending to the problem ........This is not good style of functioning .

                                Previously also phone was dead for 4 months (last year) and again for 2 months (this year) ....but no action is taken by Baner Telephone exchange ....unless I make complaint to higher authorities .

                                Request to kindly improve the working of the exchange (if possible) ,, and at least get the phone line started .
                                Last time it was entrusted by to private agency ...which got the phone working in 2 hours ....which was dead from 4 months.
                                Request if they may again appoint private agency ....because the Baner Telephone exchange is not at all responding .

                                BSNL Landline Telephone — poor customer service-Landline dead since a month

                                My landline is dead since a months time.There is no response from BSNL even after repeated followups. I have gone to their office alteast 10-15 times for complaining. They would say that they will rectify it immediately. I think they are playing the fool with us. They have totally an unorganised office.

                                My landline phone number is out of order for last one month and it is a depressingly routine now that it works for a day or two and again becomes out of order.[protected]. Beside that my internet connection is also not working properly eversince its installation.

                                BSNL Landline Telephone — Humming sound and failed Data one connection

                                My telephone number[protected] under Dhenkanal (Talcher Exchange) circle in Orissa. There is disturbing noises in the telephone for the last one year. Most probably from faulty line. Repeated complaint has failed to rectify the same. The link of DATA ONE also failed frequently.
                                Telephone connection bearing no[protected] is not working since from past 20 days.

                                  The BSNL approved ADSL Modem AN1020-21 is the only one available and I am forced to buy that for aabout Rs. 2200/- from a private distributor. The Modem itself is apparently manufactured by a company called Vuppalamrudha Magnetics in Hyderabad. The performance of the modem is the worst I have ever seen. My previous ADSL modem worked 5 times better on the same set of lines and peripherals.
                                  :
                                  This is what I found. I dont know whether it is a problem with the modem or the BSNL Broadband port at the exchange.

                                  1. The SpeedTest for LAN connection shows between 75 and 85 kbps as
                                  against a speed of 384 kbps promised to consumers by BSNL

                                  2. The SpeedTest for WLAN connection with my Lenovo Laptop which is placed
                                  at a distance of 5 feet from the modem is just 22 to 30 kbps. There should
                                  be no such difference normally between LAN and WLAN speeds.

                                  3. I have tried all suggested configurations and nothing improves the performance.

                                  I have suffered from very poor BSNL broadband services for the last 6 months. Their Broadband uptime is much smaller than their downtime.

                                  I hope the behemoth called BSNL improves its services for those o[censored]s who still like to go to them because they are INDIAN.

                                  The ADSL Modem was returned to the BSNL dealer and he replaced it with a Terracom Wireless Router/Modem. It has been working ever since. The problem is resolved.

                                    I had given a request in BSNL website for a new broadband connection. On the next day I received a call from a person who claimed as BSNL agent. He visited my place and collected documents along with Rs.600 money. (500 for BSNL and 100 for his agency). He didnt give any receipt for the money paid. I agree that it was my mistake to give out money without a receipt, but my question to BSNL is how can someone who is not part of BSNL could know that I have a request for Broadband connection? How can he have my request number? How can he get my mobile number? Is it not a security loop hole in BSNL website?

                                      After a long appeal to fix the problem about 3G data speed it not yet solved. I'm not getting the DATA Speed properly. I'm still getting 2G speed (Max. Speed noticed 16 kB/s) instead of 3G speed. I'v checked with my another BSNL 3G SIM ([protected]) where the data speed is four times higher than the said ([protected]) number. So there is a definate problem in activation/migration of 3G data service.
