I have taken a plan 750 Home Unlimited of BSNL Wimax Internet Broadband which has been a nightmare for me.

All this started on 6 August 2011 when I was given a demonstration of Wimax Broadband by BSNL at my place. In demonstration I got a maximum speed of 900 KBps (Nearly 1 MBps) which was an amazing speed.

So, I took a Wimax connection on 8 August 2011 with 750 Home Unlimited plan and Wimax Device was installed at my home on next day by BSNL provided with my connection no., username and password. After installation also I got the same speed of 900 KBps up to next two days (evening of 11 August 2011).

And after 11 August 2011 evening the speed was suddenly reduced to 100 KBps. And on 19 August 2011 10pm the speed was again reduced to 50 KBps and now_____________ I am being provided the same reduced speed of 50 KBps.

I made a complaint regarding this to BSNL and they forwarded the complain. ZTE Technicians (ZTE is providing the Wimax device with BSNL) came to my house and they checked my device with their login ID and got a very good speed (more than 1MBps). They told me that there is no technical problem, BSNL has bounded speed of
your connection, kindly talk to bsnl, and ZTE team went back.

Again I called BSNL and told them, then they were like “itni hi speed milegi”.
If it is really so then why is BSNL confusing the customers by showing 20 times speed in demonstration?

BSNL says Wimax to be a 4G technology whereas they are providing the speed less than 3G. EVDO Card (3G) provides a speed of 80 KBps which is much more than Wimax. If one has to get 50 Kbps speed only then why should he go for Wimax.
EVDO card of BSNL which Device costs half of cost of Wimax, EVDO has a better connectivity from Wimax, I could carry EVDO anywhere whereas Wimax is a home setup. But BSNL people told me that Wimax has better speed. In my words I can say that BSNL is cheating its customers.

Apart from this there is also a major problem after the speed reduction of 11 August 2011. My Wimax Device is hardly able to get connection to its portal. Means I am not able to use its services with reduced speed also. After its speed has been reduced I am able to use internet very rarely, e.g. whenever it gets connected I can use internet until I shut down my Wimax device because after this I cant say that it will connect to internet after how many days. This problem also started after reducing the speed.
Means I am paying a worthless huge amount to BSNL for nothing. And after paying such amount I have to wait for two to three days even for checking my mail.






Additional details

As per this plan user will get a speed of 512 Kbps wherever technically feasible. Whereas in my locality there is no question of technical feasibility as I was already getting 20 times faster speed than this and also I am residing within 2km from nearest transmission (Pahariya BSNL Exchange) whereas its range is upto 15kms.

So, Kindly look after the matter and either provide me a better speed and connectivity or I would like to surrender as I can’t even browse internet with this and I have to pay a huge amount to BSNL for this worthless service.

BSNL — Not up to their words about the connection speed....

I'm staying at Bogadi 2nd satge N, Mysore.
I got myself a BSNL EV-DO wireless connection @ Rs 4192 from divisional office. According to the product, the connection speed should be 900 kbps. But the available speed is only 60-80 kbps only, tat too in places with full network access.
I met the concerrned person regarding this, but they were least bothered about this.
I'm very much unsatisfied with this kind of service...
We have bsnl wimax from 1 year. It shows every time connecting and after long time when connected immediately after 5 to 10 minuts disconnected. We had talk with your UDAIPUR, JAIPUR AND BANGLORE office but they have not solved our problam so far. We are in deep trouble because of non working of internet inspite of paying the monthly bill regularly. So you are requested to please get the problam be solved immediately.

Its True. I got a WiMAX conection on 7/9/12. The SDE and two of his fellow men came to my house and intalled the device. After two days...the rest is, as narrated by Mr. Rajan Singh.

Sub: Internet connection problem.

I have got the WIMAX Internet connection from 14.08.2012 and using it. But from 27.10.2012 onwards I haven’t received any connection. Recording this i have complaint to Virudhunagar, BSNL[protected]. But no reasonable response from them. Now we have power problem also. So I kindly request you to consider this problem and rectify it immediately.

    I recharged my phone number [protected] with Data Recharge voucher 4200 on 20/07/2011. Its worth rs.4200 and provides 6 gb internet data usage limit every month for 6 months. Basically according to plan, my gprs account should be automatically recharged with 6 GB data allowance after every 30 days. I got the first 6 GB as soon as i recharged. but after 30 days were over on 18/08/2011, my GPRS account was not recharged with another 6 GB data. The customer care representatives are a bunch of clue-less persons who know nothing about their own products. Even after calling 20-30 times I did not get any kind of help from them. Please help. I will never ever use BSNL.

      BSNL 3G with Teracom Data Card

      This is Pranoy Sinha (pranoy.[protected]@gmail.com) from Khardah, kolkata -700116, a web developer by profession. My PC is running with WIN XP with SP2. I have purchased a BSNL 3G SIM Card with Teracom data card - model no: LW273 (having speed 7.2 mbps mentioned in the device) on 30/5/2011 from a BSNL exchange here in Barrackpore,24Pgs(N), West Bengal.

      Till today (20/8/2011) i am not really getting good service...

      Non responding of telephone complaint

      I am ordinary user of BSNL Broadband , the phone was dead I complained after so many request they come make the phone but braodband is still not working. I again sent my brother to telephone exchange to my brother to request to clear up the problem but our great government people (Mr. Yadav, Line man of BSNL, Sunder Nagar Exchange, Raipur) show they shine and again not responding. I tried to call Mr. Ghanekar (SDO of BSNL, Sunder Nagar, Raipur)...

        BSNL — bsnl outgoing call stop

        my bsnl no. [protected] is working last 4 year but last one week my no. outgoing facility is stop without any reason and without any information.i have tried bsnl customer care no. 123 or [protected] but the no. is busy or call not completed.
        Respected sir/madam,

        This to inform you that my outgoings r not working good because it will shows network busy r error in network connection. 3 r 4 times to be dailed to connect a call. I send sms as "SIGNAL" to care. Which is helpless for me. While call is in conn. it was disconnected many times, nearly after 2 months i went to CSC to large complaint again he said that I will said to SUBHRAMANAYAM, SDE. I dont whether he said r not? In CSC is not able to take complian i think so. Our family using BSNL nearly 6 years. At the time of 10.30pm it shows that network busy imagine how the network is? LOCATION IS HINDUPUR, Area:OLDCHECKPOST, Banglore road, Hindupur, Anantapur(district), AndhraPradesh(state).

        Kindly please solve this problem, i am facing problem with a lot, I missed three interview calls with this, my carrer is going to be bad with this problem.

          I have purchased BSNL UITC card at Rs. 300 through bsnl's online portal. I made mayment through my Debit card of HDFC bank. After the online payment no transaction id was gives to me and there was an error saying like Server timeout or something like this. I checked my bank a/c and saw Rs. 300 has been deducted but my phone was not recharged with that card. Called BSNL cumstomer care several times at different numbers ie. [protected], [protected], [protected], 197, 1503, [protected]. No one was able to provide any answer and directed me to others. Now i feel like cheated by our own national teleservice provider BSNL.

          I am from Kolkata, My mobile number is [protected] where i tried to do the recharge.

          Please help me get back my money.

            Telephone Instrument always out of order and when ever we complaint no one listen and verbally say we will send person but no one coem to home and repair just make money BSNL kadi branch and cheating with Customer and they are not cancel also when we request to removed al garbage............so sad for us. better Govt can change whole Staff or make officially corruption allowed to staff to do some work for people.........

              I am a BSNL telephone subscriber from almost four years. My telephone[protected] Hno 108,11A Cross,Bhuvaneshwarinagar,Hebbal-Kempapur) is dead almost 30 days now. I registered complaints over phone which hardly yielded much result. The normal reply was "cable fault". I have been registering
              complaints almost everyday and my has been begging everybody in the department including Top Brass at Sahakarnagar and Coffee Board Layout Kempapur. No body is cared about the complaints here.The service is in such poor state that I just want to change to other pvt service provider. I am Using landline for accessing Internet for my official work and private work. Now I have to go to Internet Parlors every day.Can this complaint will fall on deaf and dumb officials and expect any speedy action.

              My Telephone WLL --> 22726976 is not working last four months. I had given several complients, no response. But they are Billing for the not working condition Period time also.
              I am a BSNL telephone subscriber from couple of years. My telephone is dead from almost 30 days now. I registered complaints over phone which hardly yielded much result. The normal reply was "cable fault". Now my phone bearing No.[protected] is dead since 30 days. I have been registering complaints everyday and my has been begging everybody in the department including Top Brass. Lower level officials indirectly suggest me to subscribe to some private company phone because BSNL, I quote "is no longer interested in land phones.
              My Telephone number 23321282 is not working from 11.30am, June 25, 2008. Please rectify the problem
              sir, i have given ECS for telephone bills and i was getting the bills in
              advance for years for intimation. But, I regret to inform that from
              past two months ie; april and may 08 I am not getting the bills and i may have to give instruction to bank to return the ECS in future if
              i donot receive the intimation bills in advance. for which the accounts officer, concerned is responsible since, i have made several requests to send the bill in advance. they should not think that ECS is a clear power of attorney for them to act smart.
              My Telephone 5617072 is faulty for last 90 days
              My phone no.25616218 is death since 3 months. i had given several complaints.
              There are some 250 telephone line affected at Bangalore HAL telecom area due to frequent power failure and BSNL is not seems to worry about it.

              I have logged some many complaints and no response till now.

              Any help would be appreciated.

I called customer care in the month of January-09 to deactivate they told me to send the SMS as per there instruction I sent several messages but till today they have not deactivated and amount is been deducting every month I used to call customer care every month.               We are not able to communicate with our customer and supplier in time. Already we are facing the industrial recession / market down and this total Telephone out of order. We request you look into the matter personally and rectify the defects. Past two weeks only 7820206 and 7820351 are working.

              We would appreciate it if this situation could be resolved immediately and a substantial rebate offered on our month’s bills.

              We look forward to hearing from you soon.

              I, Neuby Abraham, residing at # 16, Country Side Layout, Opp. Wipro Corporate Office, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore - 35 am a customer of BSNL landline no[protected]. I have both landline and BSNL broadband connections.

              I had applied for a transfer of my old landline no.[protected] from Viveknagar exchange to Kaikondrahalli exchange on Sarjapur Road on 24th March 09. After 3 weeks, my landline was transferred to the new residence. However, the BSNL broadband has still not been connected or activated at the new residence. In spite of repeated requests over phone and in person, no one from the exchanges at Sarjapur Road have turned up to reinstall/ activate the internet connection.

              I have also not received the BSNL telephone bills at my new residence for the past month.

              I'd appreciate it if this situation could be resolved immediately.

              I am also a sufferer of very bad service provided by BSNL. I live in Puttaparthy. I recently relocated to this place from New York after working there for many years. My decision to settle down in Puttaparthy was based on the fact that Internet service is available here. I never knew the service is going to be this bad.
              I deem myself to be very lucky if the internet is connected at least for 2 hours a day.
              I go to BSNL office to lodge a complaint. Their first question is: 'Is the DSL light glowing in the modem' If i say yes, they would send a line man to set right the telephone line. Otherwise they say, "the problem is in Bangalore, Ananthapur etc"
              If internet breaks down once in a way, it is ok. But the problem is" Internet is working once in a way.

              I think the only solution is to privatise such vital services. Anything in the hands of Government will not function properly. The Engineers have no interest or incentive to work or improve the services. We cannot blame them, 'what incentrive will a man have when he works for the Government or a public sector undertaking?? Nothing. They are also human beings.

              So Instead of trying to improve the services, it is better to give it to the private companies. They may charge little more, but we can get better service.

              Our BSNL landline[protected] is not working properly for the last 6 months. We have got Internet connection for the said telephone number. The complaint is that the said telephone will work from morning 9 or 10 am to 5.30 or 6.00 pm only after that it will get dead. I registered complaints over phone, which hardly yielded much result. The normal reply was "cable fault". I have been registering complaints everyday and I have been begging everybody in the department including Top Brass that get the telephone working, because in my house old age father Mr Rajanna is there. And my daughter studying in 10th std. Whenever she wants to get the information from Internet, she is unable to get the information because telephone is not in a working condition on that time. It is useless telephone. But, the telephone bill is comes for more than rupees 800 every month with being utilized after all telephone is not at all in working condition. How can bill amount come this much? I think somebody using our telephone line with the help of BSNL official and officers. BSNL official and officers involved in this scam. Since two days our telephone is completely dead and there is no proper response from the officers of BSNL whenever we call JE concerned. He doesn’t lift the mobile phone at all (His number is [protected] and[protected]. I hate BSNL!
              I am also a BSNL telephone & internet customer in Bangalore with number[protected] & my line got cut by another government people from may onwards. I am regularly receiving bills for the dead connection. Complaints had been already forwarded to the concerned authorities, but of no use. My only suggestion is to forward all our complaints to the Central Ministry for Telecommunications. Mr Prasad who is the AE there told his helpness that there is no line men to attend the problem. So what now! its been a month and i have received my phone bill for the month May.

                    I am Regularly using ISD Service from my MBL [protected] to call at Armenian using BSNL (UP East) service for the last one Year. At first all was good i used to get connected and if i receive a call from there there no was displayed means all was fair and it's being treated as ISD call, now for the last 7 months or so when i dial there even charged for hearing only a ring and when i get called from there the Number displayed is a local indian MBL no. I sense something fishy is going on to earn more revenue and they charging for only dialing a number. Pls help to save my hard earn money and relations which are in danger due to this fraudulent behavior.

                      Dear sir, I like to register my complaint regd very poor or no service by BSNL authorities, I am also fm Govt sector and my location is 20, km fm the main city of Gwalior last year a team of official has visited our campus and demonstrated the internet facilities by the use of EVDO card ofcourse the service was ok but as I started using it my problem multiplied, there is no service fm evening 1600 hrs to morning 1000 hrs that to almost everyday I have to inform the sdo, or agm bsnl regd no service than only they start the services. earlier also I made a complaint to bsnl so I was assured of 100% services I withdrawn my complaint but again they resort to same tacticks. now I have two complaint
                      1. BSNL has lied regd providing services knowing well that they will not provide satisfactory services of enternet facilities although they are charging for unlimited services for the past nine months.
                      2. BSNL should be held accountable for not providing the facilities but charging the bill for the 100% services

                            i have been using BSNL 3G EVDO internet card from last 1yr but from last few month the network suddenly disappears, specially those 3g stick and moreover when ever there is full network signal the browsing speed is less than nothing. Though the BSNL commits that it 3G EVDO plan supported by Capitel Portable Modem wil give a download speed upto 3mbps but unfortunate it hardly gives download speed maximum of 50-60kbps.

                                BSNL — Broad band service is not activated since 17th Sept inspite of numerous requests and complains

                                With my request broadband was installed in my plave on the 17th Sept. It was supposed to be activated within 24 hrs. After several requests, it was partially activated on the 26th Sept. Till this day( 30th Sept) it is not working. Numerous compalins has been lodged. Each time, the agent says that they are sending a person to check the problem physically. I had taken off from my office to attend the said person with no result. In this age of precious value of time and energy, how can a Govt's service in such an essential dept be so reluctant to the customers. I would like to rais this complain to the highest level.
                                To save my profession and as a senior citizen, I have been offered from other service agencies to provide me broadband service within a couple of hrs with full functioning.
                                Shouldnt I go for the second choice and demand a compensation to BSNL for the loss of my time ?

                                Calcutta Telephones-BSNL Broadband — 678 error throughout the day

                                I had been using 250 Home Plan under Dataone Broadband Servce to my Broadband Line No. 25319858 under Calcutta Telephones/BSNL. And knowing fully well that this falls under emergency service, I have been getting error code No. 678 throughout today, being Sunday, 12 April 2009. I have lodged complaints to the authorities wherever possible but to no remedial measures. have recently shifted to 500 Plan with unlimited download facility as advertised by Calcutta Telephones/BSNL.

                                In the recent bill ( July 09) I have been charged for an item called Broadband call and I was charged Rs. 325 and I don't know what it is (BB usage is shown seperately and given discount for the free usage). I don't know why I should pay this amount.

You go to H.O. telephone Exchange. I moved from one door to another door. No answer from Telephone person. Because they are all of GODS. But monthly payment they are received at right time. I Thing BSNL withdraw the total Broad Band services.

                                  My name is C. Satya Prakash and my BSNL mobile number is [protected]
                                  Iam a resident of Secunderabad and I have lost my mobile on 3rd April 2011 at around 5.30 PM IST. I have called your customer care number and have tried to block my number .
                                  The customer care executive confirmed all the details and asked for last 3 called numbers. Out of the 3 numbers I have provided, only 1 matched. How can anyone remember the numbers when the mobile is lost and what is the use of saving numbers with a name in the mobile? Is it possible to remember all the numbers that are stored in the phonebook. The bsnl excutive has not taken the complaint and asked me to visit the nearest bsnl store. The problem is tomorrow is a holiday as it is "Ugadi".

                                    Sir,
                                    1. I am serving in Indian Navy and proud customer of BSNL since long time in Maharashtra circle during my previous tenure at National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla Pune-23.I have been transferred to Visakhapatnam in first week of this month. I have taken a new BSNL 3G connection([protected]) from your customer care centre Malkapuram , Visakhapatnam on 10 Aug 2011 . Now list of problems faced by me are as follows:-

                                    (a) I asked for Vanilla Match plan from person sitting at the counter, he agreed and asked me to pay Rs 180 . I paid that and given all requisite documents. On 12 Aug 2011 my sim was activated but surprisingally instead of Vanilla match plan it was some another plan. I visited local e- recharge shops to migrate in vanilla match plan but all recharge attempts were unsuccessful. only top up was successful. I have spoken customer care executive many times but could find my plan name neither they were able to tell my how to migrate in Vanill match plan and what is the actual cause of this problem.

                                    (b) I came to know that cost of 3G sim is Rs 59 then why I was charged Rs 180 at BSNL customer care centre at Malkapuram? despite clear instruction to activate the per second plan. I am keen interested to know the break down of Rs. 180.they are saying that they did the recharge of Rs 120 then why they did this instead of doing FRC of Rs. 24.

                                    (c) I asked for Vanilla match plan why it is not activated till now.??

                                    (d) Why only top up vouchers are successful on my number ??? In this case I will not be able to use sms pack in future.or any other recharge .

                                    (e) I have spoken various time to customer care executive but now from 16 Aug 11 they are cutting my calls.

                                    (f) when I am visiting BSNL site to lodge the complaint it is showing that this number not belongs to the south zone.

                                    (g) I am also trying to do MNP but when I send sms to 1900 to get port id I got reply that UPC can not be genereated due to system error plz contact costomer service.

                                    2. In view of above it is requested that suitable action be initiated to solve the problems. Personnel sitting at the counters and call center to be trained adequiatly to solve the problems.

                                    3. please solve my problems as soon as possible and activate vanilla match plan.
