Dear Sir,

I have a prepaid mobile connection of BSNL, mobile no.[protected]. We are getting unknown deductions approx. Rs.50/- per month since last one year from my balance amount. I have called to Customer Care many times, to stop all the deductions from my mobile account and to stop all unnecessary SMS and send the SMS for stop these things as per instruction from customer care. But after one year I am in the same condition and deduction is continue from my account.

Kindly arrange to give the credit o[censored]nwanted deductions from my mobile account and to stop all the deduction in future.

I have prepaid mobile connection of BSNL no: [protected]. I am getting unknown deduction approximately of Rs.14/- yesterday on 28/05/2012.
So take my complaint into your consideration and please do the needful at the earliest.

BSNL — unknown deduction of balance

my balance is being deducted from my mobile phone network provider from last few months. my mobile no. is [protected] and the amount of balance deducted is Rs 25. i request you to please refund my balance and stop any kind of deduction through Unauthorized charges.

    I am Regularly using ISD Service from my MBL [protected] to call at Armenian using BSNL (UP East) service for the last one Year. At first all was good i used to get connected and if i receive a call from there there no was displayed means all was fair and it's being treated as ISD call, now for the last 7 months or so when i dial there even charged for hearing only a ring and when i get called from there the Number displayed is a local indian MBL no. I sense something fishy is going on to earn more revenue and they charging for only dialing a number. Pls help to save my hard earn money and relations which are in danger due to this fraudulent behavior.

      Dear sir, I like to register my complaint regd very poor or no service by BSNL authorities, I am also fm Govt sector and my location is 20, km fm the main city of Gwalior last year a team of official has visited our campus and demonstrated the internet facilities by the use of EVDO card ofcourse the service was ok but as I started using it my problem multiplied, there is no service fm evening 1600 hrs to morning 1000 hrs that to almost everyday I have to inform the sdo, or agm bsnl regd no service than only they start the services. earlier also I made a complaint to bsnl so I was assured of 100% services I withdrawn my complaint but again they resort to same tacticks. now I have two complaint
      1. BSNL has lied regd providing services knowing well that they will not provide satisfactory services of enternet facilities although they are charging for unlimited services for the past nine months.
      2. BSNL should be held accountable for not providing the facilities but charging the bill for the 100% services
      kindly look into my grievences and do the need ful

        I am working in Dubai. In india, at my home; my aged father and mother only.
        Last six months we are suffering about our BSNL LAND LINE CONNECTION;(some time connection not get from outside,some time sound from one side only,and so on...)So many regional complaint given about same matter.but till now authority not take it seriors or nothing to do for the permenent solution.
        Connection is under the name of my father G.PARAMESWARAN PILLAI,
        THATTUPURACKAL HOUSE, VALLIKUNNAM PO.,ALAPPUZHA, KERALA.

            i have been using BSNL 3G EVDO internet card from last 1yr but from last few month the network suddenly disappears, specially those 3g stick and moreover when ever there is full network signal the browsing speed is less than nothing. Though the BSNL commits that it 3G EVDO plan supported by Capitel Portable Modem wil give a download speed upto 3mbps but unfortunate it hardly gives download speed maximum of 50-60kbps.
            dont know what to do

                BSNL — Broad band service is not activated since 17th Sept inspite of numerous requests and complains

                With my request broadband was installed in my plave on the 17th Sept. It was supposed to be activated within 24 hrs. After several requests, it was partially activated on the 26th Sept. Till this day( 30th Sept) it is not working. Numerous compalins has been lodged. Each time, the agent says that they are sending a person to check the problem physically. I had taken off from my office to attend the said person with no result. In this age of precious value of time and energy, how can a Govt's service in such an essential dept be so reluctant to the customers. I would like to rais this complain to the highest level.
                To save my profession and as a senior citizen, I have been offered from other service agencies to provide me broadband service within a couple of hrs with full functioning.
                Shouldnt I go for the second choice and demand a compensation to BSNL for the loss of my time ?

                Calcutta Telephones-BSNL Broadband — 678 error throughout the day

                I had been using 250 Home Plan under Dataone Broadband Servce to my Broadband Line No. 25319858 under Calcutta Telephones/BSNL. And knowing fully well that this falls under emergency service, I have been getting error code No. 678 throughout today, being Sunday, 12 April 2009. I have lodged complaints to the authorities wherever possible but to no remedial measures. have recently shifted to 500 Plan with unlimited download facility as advertised by Calcutta Telephones/BSNL.

                Then why should I be denied of this useage for almost 24 hours running.90b67
                My BroadBand is not up to the mark since last week. My project is undergoing. I need the service seriously urgent. Please take immediate and necessary steps...

                BSNL — Error in Broad band charges

                In the recent bill ( July 09) I have been charged for an item called Broadband call and I was charged Rs. 325 and I don't know what it is (BB usage is shown seperately and given discount for the free usage). I don't know why I should pay this amount.

                BSNL Broadband — Error -678

                Dear Team,
                We have been using broad band at my residence ( Tel no:[protected], but unfortunately the link is not working and is displaying error 678 from last 2 months. Unnecessarily we are paying rental and above all inspiter of our several requests things are not taken care. It has become really disgusting and wopuld request you to kindly look into the complaint and see to it that the same is rectified asap. Also to add , no body is picking up the toll free no. Even the concerned SDO Mr Mishra( [protected]) is not picking up the phone. It is hard earned money and we are not able to are not able to use the same. If the same is not resolved then certainly we would like not only to surrender the conncetion but also would like to go to consumer forum.

                Even we have faced the same problem and all these complaints falls into deaf ears. No body attands the complaint and all your effort goes in vain. Take legal action, the same will be resolved very soon.

                I conneting bsnl broadband pc system and sharing net to wireless on laptop but pc system net are conneting, laptop net are not conneting and error come 678
                I am a consumer of Calcutta Telephones Broadband Service.
                My telephone No is : 24352698. I am really dissatisfied with the broadband service of BSNL.
                I am facing problem from last 15 days as it is showing Error 678.

                I am using the Nokia Siemens Networks [Modem] C2110.

                Hence, I would like to request you to go through my problems and take care of the Poor Service from your end and also rebate my telephone bill from dated 02/02/2010 till the problem is solved.

As a satisfied BSNL broadband customer in the past that time we opted for a yearly BB scheme with modem purchase option. Surprisingly in the first two months of taking the BB service literally we could not be able to use the broadband due to its continuous connection problem through out the day. We have not been entertained or satisfied even after repeated complaints to the BB customer care. In the meantime the monthly bill came with all the future and past charges and that was too with a lump sum amount (approx. INR 5500). We requested BSNL through several letterers with proper history of the problem to settle down the account after sending a revised bill which should exclude all the future charges. But even after multiple requests (3 letters in 6 months with many meetings) no body has shown any interest to solve the matter except posting few letters informing regular general scheme to activate the disconnected lines but there is no mistake of sending regular usage bills in spite of no use of telephone service since temporarily withdrawn.

                Please help us to overcome the mental distress and anxiety of something unresolved with increasing usage bills.
                Last 5 to 6 days (post on 16/4/[protected]xxxx / (frequently) telephone exchange broad band service down. Telephone person say SYSTEM DOWN. We can't do anything. You go to H.O. telephone Exchange. I moved from one door to another door. No answer from Telephone person. Because they are all of GODS. But monthly payment they are received at right time. I Thing BSNL withdraw the total Broad Band services.

                  I just switch off my phone and then on again then it shows on display sim card rejected. Then i call to cutumer care but problem remain same.

                  Hi,

                  My name is C. Satya Prakash and my BSNL mobile number is [protected]
                  Iam a resident of Secunderabad and I have lost my mobile on 3rd April 2011 at around 5.30 PM IST. I have called your customer care number and have tried to block my number .
                  The customer care executive confirmed all the details and asked for last 3 called numbers. Out of the 3 numbers I have provided, only 1 matched. How can anyone remember the numbers when the mobile is lost and what is the use of saving numbers with a name in the mobile? Is it possible to remember all the numbers that are stored in the phonebook. The bsnl excutive has not taken the complaint and asked me to visit the nearest bsnl store. The problem is tomorrow is a holiday as it is "Ugadi".

                    1. I am serving in Indian Navy and proud customer of BSNL since long time in Maharashtra circle during my previous tenure at National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla Pune-23.I have been transferred to Visakhapatnam in first week of this month. I have taken a new BSNL 3G connection([protected]) from your customer care centre Malkapuram , Visakhapatnam on 10 Aug 2011 . Now list of problems faced by me are as follows:-

                    (a) I asked for Vanilla Match plan from person sitting at the counter, he agreed and asked me to pay Rs 180 . I paid that and given all requisite documents. On 12 Aug 2011 my sim was activated but surprisingally instead of Vanilla match plan it was some another plan. I visited local e- recharge shops to migrate in vanilla match plan but all recharge attempts were unsuccessful. only top up was successful. I have spoken customer care executive many times but could find my plan name neither they were able to tell my how to migrate in Vanill match plan and what is the actual cause of this problem.

                    (b) I came to know that cost of 3G sim is Rs 59 then why I was charged Rs 180 at BSNL customer care centre at Malkapuram? despite clear instruction to activate the per second plan. I am keen interested to know the break down of Rs. 180.they are saying that they did the recharge of Rs 120 then why they did this instead of doing FRC of Rs. 24.

                    (c) I asked for Vanilla match plan why it is not activated till now.??

                    (d) Why only top up vouchers are successful on my number ??? In this case I will not be able to use sms pack in future.or any other recharge .

                    (e) I have spoken various time to customer care executive but now from 16 Aug 11 they are cutting my calls.

                    (f) when I am visiting BSNL site to lodge the complaint it is showing that this number not belongs to the south zone.

                    (g) I am also trying to do MNP but when I send sms to 1900 to get port id I got reply that UPC can not be genereated due to system error plz contact costomer service.

                    2. In view of above it is requested that suitable action be initiated to solve the problems. Personnel sitting at the counters and call center to be trained adequiatly to solve the problems.

                    3. please solve my problems as soon as possible and activate vanilla match plan.

When we tried to re-enter the complaint it was conneyed that no second complaint will be logged till the first complaint will be done.                                     I have received a phone bill showing usage of Internet too high.
                                    The amount is INR 7390.
                                    The user is only a student studying in std. X
                                    It is not possible to get this much usage of internet.
                                    The BSNL has issued the bill of INR. 8555 which includes the above amount.

                                    I need to have a detailed usage of internet during the month of Dec. 2007.
                                    I am having BSNL Broadband connection at my residence. There is no provision to track the broad-band usage. Incidentally, my usage was within the broadband rental (Rs.250/month) upto Jan-08. But for the month of Feb-08, I find broadband usage chargge of Rs.568/- which is highly unjustifiable as there was much lesser usage compared to previous months. There is no proper response from BSNL and nobody is owning the responsibility.
                                    Nobody is there to take the billing complaint on telephonically. I have tried many times to the billing complaint Telephone but there was no response.

                                    DataOne broadband internet service — Heavy billing on Hackers use

                                    Sub: Departmental or Hacker Misuse, and billed to me

                                    Much before providing me Dataone Broadband internet service,
                                    it was already heavily in use by some Hacker. BSNL bill for January 2008 to me
                                    was abnormally high because of this. When I brought this to their
                                    notice, they do not accept and still send huge bill for March 08
                                    also. I cannot pay for services not used by me, nor, I wish to be
                                    cheated this way by BSNL after creating in me full confidence in
                                    their service. Though I requested for separate Bills for Internet and Telephone
                                    in my application, they have clubbed it and showing arrears.
                                    They should rather compensate me, a senior citizen,
                                    for the torture they have given this way.
                                    I totally agree with u. I have a plan which was well within the specified limits for 7 months. Since Mar 08, There is an enormous surge in the uage, which subsequently is leading to a huge bill running to thousands. The response from the dept is useless or outright rude and they insist that I had used it, since the connecion is bound to my modem. However, they dont have technical ansywers to my queries and they are saying I need yo pay up.

                                    I m just irritated since the usage surge is associated with my internet going down and I call support who give the same password and that is an easily guessable one with the combination like 3 char of city, 3 chanracters of the user ID and numbers, which can be easily cracked if they know the format and everyone in the dept know the sequesnce. If I change my password. my interent stops working and the password is again reset to teh default.

                                    Written complaint has not elicited any response and whn I spoeak to their helpdesk, I m asked to convert to unlimited 750/- plan. I suspect a nexus, trying to push people on 250 and 500 plan to unlimited by resorting to this tactic. The help desk is insisting on me paying the bill or converting to 750, while not getting to the root cause of this problem. They are trying to avoid the complaint by asking me to switch over to 750, since I wud not care any more abt the usage, since it unlimited

                                    BSNL has provided a way to assess your own browsing attitude and to measure your session to session usage of mb. perhaps these high side bills could have been avoided had u paid a little attention to the procedure prescribed. now there is an unlimited plan of 750 INR per month which will cater all your high side requirements.                                     I applied for a BSNL home 500 broadband connection on phone 2420592 and got it on 21 feb, 2008.But I have not received a single bill till now.At last BSNL disconnects my internet connection without any notice and more to my surprise when I inquired for a duplicate bill, I found that 3961/- Rupees for 3 month bill and modem charges.

                                    But according to my calculation the bill should be

                                    Modem charge=1200(bought modem from BSNL)
                                    +
                                    3 month internet charge=(500+12% tax) x 3
                                    +
                                    call charges + rental= 0 (as in home 500 plan there is no extra charge for phone or any rental )
                                    = 2880

                                    If added service charge for modem then 2880+144=3124 Maximum.

                                    Dear Gentlemen,
                                    It was shocking to receive a bill amount of this kind as my usage is very limited and specific.
                                    We as professionals are not equipped to keep a check on hacking of password nor have the time to fight and look for the loop holes in your system.
                                    I have paid the bill in protest and will discontinue the services if this kind of bills is received in the coming months. I understand that a customer of my size does not make any different to BSNL but the bill of this size makes a big difference to us.
                                    We could not get the debit detail for the June month as we did not receive the detail bill by mail and duplicate bill does not give the details.
                                    It is also surprising for the company of the size BSNL is that there is no system in place from the telecom company to HELP the customer.
                                    1. The customer should be giving an option o[censored]sing the broadband service from one telephone number only so that the hacker cannot misuse it.
                                    2. Secondly there should be a credit limit for the customer’s usage so that they are not shocked by this kind of bills.
                                    3. Thirdly a company of BSNL size should be able to handle and track down the misuse of information / data.
                                    4. Provide us with the detail usage of the broadband (or the Link if available on the internet) in the month bills.
                                    I understand that u will we pressed with complains of this nature but it will be of great help i[censored] could look into the details personally and reply on the same.

                                    that they have to fix a usage limit and we are not at all countable for them

                                    my self Praveen Mandal I'm working with Aviva Life insurance comp ltd as an sales manager and also doing MBA from ICFAI distance learning course.

                                    I have taken BSNL broadband connection[protected] in Home 250 Plan for my MBA studies and within a month I have submitted a application for change plan to unlimited one i.e. Home 900+ on 14/02. BSNL officials accepted my application and assured me that will be changed soon and only next day I have received a call from BSNL officials mentioning that plan have been changed. So, I started using it as a unlimited one.
                                    But to my surprise I have received a bill on 16/03 with Amount Rs. 50000/- as my usage charge, I rushed to the official and to ask the complete detail they told me that I have used so I have to pay the same. I rushed to DM with written complaint and to my surprise they handed over me a debit note dated 14/02 itself of Rs. 900/-. He assured me everything will be corrected just meet CAO, from that day three to four days a week i'm visiting CAO & IFA for requesting to correct the same.

                                    but all things gone to vein they declared me defaulter and issued a letter to all telecom companies and cc to me that not to issue any connection to me.

                                    Then I contacted lawyer he suggested me not to go to consumer forum as I don't have much mony for security deposit and to wait.
                                    Now I have received a summon-letter mentioning that I have to be in court on 18/12 for the legal case against me.

                                    I got a broadband connection in August/2008.The billing was normal upto Oct/08 i.e.Landline chrage +dataone chrage 250.But suddenly in the month of Dec/2008 they have have submitted a bill of Rs.51000/- as arrear as usage charges saying that uses charges were not counted by them due to the software problem in the previous month.Plz advice me what to do.
                                    For me the broadband usage in Jan-2009 bill is as below:

                                    NET AMOUNT PAYABLE IN THIS BILL 1160.00
                                    TOTAL CALL CHARGE 0.00
                                    MONTHLY FIXED CHARGE 120.00
                                    SERVICE TAX 123.89
                                    OTHER CHARGES/ADJUSTMENT 916.11

                                    Whereas the total broadband usage i.e. Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited is 715.79

                                    As i have a 1GB i.e. 250 rupees connection so, it will never cross Rs. 250/-

                                    Interestingly i found all BSNL bills has the span of last day of earlier month to last day of current month. so, they may charge last day in both the bill.

                                    BSNL Broadband Internet Connection — Excess billing for the month of August 2008

                                    I am a subscriber to BSNL broadband connection under the HOME 250 plan. My regular usage bill doesn't exceed the basic amount. In august I wad billed for usage of Rs.2655 in addition to the minimum charges. My complaintof 25-Sep-2008 was replied stating that "Broad Band usage throughout for the above period is from the same port and PC only", without mentioning the usage details. When asked for the details I was told that the same can be viewed from the bsnl port, which when I log on displays the message FORBIDDEN ZONE. Kindly advise me on this.
                                    Broadband USAGE charges in my bill no.58465175 for the month of 01.03.09 for Rs.12898/- is invalid . Should be removed immediately. I am already paying Rs.250/- under Home-250 Plan. My monthly billing amount remains between 450 to 500/-. I protest strongly against this unathourised Usage amount included in the bill. I am not going to pay this amount.

                                    I am using broadband for past 1 year, have never excess billing before.but from march 2009 and now in april 2009 I viewed some extra unit charges in my broadband usage details..it often happend that my computer is connected but i'm not surfing, or using or downloading.I am noticing a huge kb like 100000 is being attached with my usage details..i have no clue how it can be possible..please help!!!

                                    Hi,

                                    Sorry for raising the compliant late since i was not available these days.
                                    The problem is that i was charged excessively for the month of June and got the bill in july
                                    Total volume MB--- 2026.49 so after removing the night usage between 2-8am i calculated i got only 573,341 MB as usage so pls check why it was excessively charged for extra Rs 400

                                    Pls do this adjustment in the current running amount or do pay back this amount.

                                    i, ve got my bsnl broadband net connection (unlimited plan), my use is for net gaming..but this connection is really sad.In evry30 mins the link fails once and comes bak again within 1 min.Due to this i cant complete even a single game.And literally there is no use of this net service for me...and for a bill worth 800Rs/month BSNL provides you with sad services...LAME...I contacted the "costomer care" and they did nothing to cure this!

                                    In Dehradun for the last 3 months the new system of bill gereation specially for broadband is totally wrong. Customers who are under Broadband plan 500C must note that BSNL is provinding them the free usage of 1.5GB i.e. 1.5 X 1024=1536MB and for extra usage more than1536MB the customers has to pay Rs1 per MB. But in actual it is not so.
                                    If the customer look at the current bills thoroughly, everybody can notice that in the new bill system first of all the total usage is getting calculated and after that only there it is discounted. But here is a big mistake. As you see for 1526MB free usage the BSNL is giving discount of only Rs1226.82 which has no logic. In actual as per Rs1 per MB free usage for 1526MB it should be Rs1526.
                                    So, Broadband Customers of Dehradun, please get alert. If you are skipping your Broadband bills, you are paying extra amount to BSNL from your pocket.
                                    Not only this, the phone call amount calculation is also totally wrong.

                                    I am Nazeeya Banu and our landline number is [protected]. we had got COMBO HOME 500 plan and are using the internet facility for the past two years. So far we have never received bills exceeding Rs.650 - 700/- for using the internet facility. To our surprise for the past two months (bill dates: 10/10/2010 and 10/11/2010) we have been receiving bills of amount Rs.1048/- and Rs,1041/-. But the internet itself was not getting connected properly for this past one month. There seemed to be some connection problem. I had made the complaint regarding this, twice last month. Still there is this problem.
                                    Moreover we are using the internet only for the domestic purposes and we do not do much downloading also. This is shocking for us. I paid the last month bill amount Rs.1048/- but this time i want to know the reason for getting such huge amount, almost double of what we were paying so far.
                                    Moreover we are also metered of extra calls while we are sure of not have made such extra calls other than the free calls..
                                    I want to complaint on this excess billing and meter charging and want the officials to take immediate action on the above complaint at the earliest

                                    In February 2011 i did not got bill. I got hand made bill from Deoghar Exchange Office with arrear dues of Rs. 2682.00 only(Rupees Two Thousand Six Hundrad Eighty Two only) on 01.03.2011. I have paid the demanded amount on 01.03.2011.
                                    According to B. S. N. L. Portal on Intrenet, my used units (GB) is –
                                    Nov.[protected].843 GB
                                    Dec.[protected].89 GB
                                    Jan.[protected].16 GB I have not used phone in these month for long period.
                                    So, please varify the total uses and give me bill for which you have charged that amount. If i have deposited in excess, then i shall be thankful if you will adjust tha amount.

                                      I have a post paid connection from BSNL Chennai, my cell no. is[protected], for last several months, BSNL is charging RS 10.00 per month for Hamshakal Services, for which they have not asked my permission. Please stop charging for Hamshakal as I have not opted for that. Due to such unauthorized charges I am losing hope from your organisation and may be forced to join a private company. Please stop charging unauthorised money, its illegal and immoral.Thank you.

                                        The following connection from BSNL[protected] under the name of Sandeep Nayyar was given in July . even after numerous complaints at various level. Till date the phone is out of order. I have been regularly paying the bills without making a single call. All the complaints made have fallen to deaf ears and there is no solution to it.
                                        land line no.[protected] is not working since 10 days.
