BSNL Broadband — NOT GETTING CONNECTIVITY

broadband connection obtained on 15.08.08 under 500 c plan.On opening of computer one has to dial like dial up connection and on dialing with password, error message 676-line is busy is common.despite complianing on several occassions it is not rectified.person visitng for repairs lacks proper skills/knowledge.please take up the matter

i m resident of gadchiroli(maharashtra) namely hemant rathi,
sir from about a week, i am facing severe prblem of disconnected broadcasting in bsnl broadband services.
sir i am stock broker and i am totally dependent on internet broadband service of bsnl.
i regularily pays the bill in order to use uninterrupted bsnl service,
but due to their unresponsiveness me and my clients are facing too much loss.

i am your bsnl broadband customer from long time.but recently i have been sufring from connection prob.the dsl link is not coming contenuasly.so i did complaint to local officer he did his better but even though i have suffring from such prob. so now i hope for your prompt action.and good replay.

the flickering DSL led is either because of your weak line wire strength or the absence of a splitter. all telephones need to be connected after the splitter.

BSNL — No Connectivity

I have BSNL mobile connection for last two years. i used ADD-ON post paid connection.
I stay at near Water tank, Chandannagar, Pune-Nagar road area.
In our area connectivity is the big problem. I stay at ground floor and i put my phone in window for range.
and for receiving any call i have to go to outside the home.
Can BSNL not have to give good service like IDEA, AIRTEL or any other competetor.
other network given full range anywhere in my home...? then why not BSNL

BSNL Broadband — non-connectivity

I have been facing problem of non-connectivity of Broadband, but despite of several complaints, no effective action has been taken by the authorities concerned.

I am using the plan 750 plus for my internet connection, Since last month i am facing a new problem ie connectivity or say wrong ip address...
when i complaint about this, they repaired my connection parameters n line...
Even after this they told me reset the password...
though its not connecting, What i did was called a private internet service provide had did use a common password n in vain it worked for three days...Whats the use of paying sum bugs for my account...still its not working...

MY NAME IS PRASANTO DAS. I AM A RESIDENT OF PAL PARA, BENIPUR, P.O. - TRIBENI, DIST. - HOOGHLY. I HAVE SEVERAL TIMES APPLIED FOR A B.S.N.L. BROADBAND CONNECTION IN B.SN.L. OFFICE, TRIBENI BRANCH, FOR MY PURPOSE IN MY HOUSE, BUT THEY REFUSED THE PROPOSAL JUST SAYING THAT THEY COULD NOT GIVE THE CONNECTION TO ONE PERSON, THEY CAN ONLY GIVE THE CONNECTION IF MORE THAN TWO OR THREE PERSONS APPLIED FOR THE CONNECTION.

BUT SIR, I AM GOING TO PAY FOR THE CONNECTION, BUT STILL THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME THE CONNECTION. ITS VERY URGENT FOR ME TO HAVE A BROAD BAND CONNECTION AS I WORK WITH STOCK MARKET. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GO THE CYBER CAFE AND REGULAR CHECK THE STOCK MARKET STATUS BECAUSE IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR ME.

BSNL Broadband — BSNL not providing speed

I am using Bsnl Broadband BB Home UL 750+ plan for that they have to provide 512kbps but providing 217kbps only.

Yesterday the download speed is below 10kbps and upload speed is 30, so i complained to bsnl customer care they said for 512 download speed must be 512/8=64 and upload speed must be 512/4=128kbps and registered a complaint (complaint no:[protected].

After complaint it is somewhat corrected but not providing as per the plan. Today i checked the bandwidth speed in bsnl website itself and that picture is attached as a evidence of bsnl not providing a sufficient service.

So, I kindly request you to take action for providing sufficient service as per the plan.

ONE BSNL NEWSENCE AND HEDAKE PUBLICATIONS ABOUT BROAD BAND
"Starting from February 1st, 2012, BSNL Broadband users under plan BB Home ULD 750 and BB Home Combo ULD 750 will get increased 1 Mbps Speed up to 6 GB Data usage and thereafter 512 Kbps for Unlimited usage at same price."
I have taken broad connection for the last two years. But the speed is not got as stated above in yoiur publication
The speed is very slow in my connection through my land line Phone No. 220952 in Nagercoil BSNL Circle and i have suffered much to getting very slow speed.
Please arrange to rectify the defects urgently

Sir,
Brand band net is not connected for the last 5 days. On my repeated request no body can respond to my request. The same problem was found for last month 7daysThe problem at only on BSNL side. I will approach consumer court for justice of heavy loss mentally and financially.

    Dear Sir, On 31.12.2010 I received two SMS messages in my Mobile Phone bearing No.91-[protected] one from No.56505 thanking me for subsribing GOVT JOBSPacks and intimating me to have been charged Rs.20 for 31 Days and for deactivation, CAN GOVT to 56505. The other message is from NO.56505020 again thanking me for subsribing GOVT JOBS and intimating me to have been charged Rs.20 for a month besides advising me to SMSHELP SUB to 56505 for other exciting subscription packs details. Rs.40/- has been deducted from my prepaid mobile account arbitrarily and unauthorisedly even though I did not make any such subscription to either of the said numbers. I am a retired person and a senior citizen. Kindly do the needful for the redressal of my grievence and refund of the amount illegally deducted from my account.

      I AM USING BSNL 2G INTERNET SERVICE FOR LAST 13 MONTHS
      BUT THE INTERNET SPEED IS MUCH POOR AGAINST THE ADVERTISEMENT OF THE BSNL INTERNET SERVICES CONNECTING PEOPLE.... THAT SHOULD BE DISCONNECTING PEOPLE AND MAKE A PERMANANT DISSTANCE.

      OHHHHH GOD ITS THE LARGEST TELE COMMUNICATION NETWORK IN INDIA AND BY THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IS THE UNPRODUCTIVE AND USELESS.

      Hi dude. I mysel[censored]se Airtel GPRS/EDGE service with Nokia mobile. It is the best combo. Airtel is the best in wireless internet service ane Nokia mobiles are best to use with computers with the all new PC Suite 7. So get both the handset and airtel sim ane enjoy. It gives me about 50-80 Kbps speed with my Core2Duo powered HP laptop over the commonly available EDGE network. Best of luck.

        i am a very old user of BSNL landline phone...no. is 2585677 in amritsar...
        from last two years there is noise disturbance in my phone line.....i have compliant about it lot of time in BSNL nearest exchange.... but all in vain...at every time they told me this time your problem will sort out but nothing is happened......
        i have also broadband connection on this no...and due to that humming the connection breaks after few seconds.....i have also registered complaints about this in there 198 no....
        the customer care nos. of BSNL are all fake...
        the people sitting there are very helpless have no knowledge about our quarries, they are only there to write down our complaints in there note books...and nothing will happen to their writings..
        so....now i really want to get rid from the word BSNL....
        so please help me in disconnect with BSNL permanently...

          Hi Team,

          I requested for a BSNL Broadband connection through the Customer care number[protected] on 28-Dec-2010. The person came to my place #54, 1st main, 4th Cross, New Ext. Shambhog Colony, Yemlur, Bangalore-37.

          A person from BSNL office took the payment for Rs. 2650 on 29-Dec-2010 & filled the application form. He gave me a work order no. 36492. The number he has given for enquiry are not working.

          The customer care people are not answering properly. The disconnect the call without proper Info.

            I had applied for a bsnl landline connection in october 2010. The line which i was allotted, 26763045, is very noisy from the first day of installation. One can not make any calls with this connection as nothing is audible. I complained several times to officials at different levels but did not get any resolution. The lineman says the box is faulty and as and when he will receive order to change the box, it will be solved. Now the question is who will replace the box and when? Me or the BSNL authorities? It has been passed more than 2 months and I am yet to get my problem solved. My landline is as good as absent.
            Even our bsnl lanline is as good as absent, since 2 months we cannot use it, if anybody calls, we ask them to disconnect n we call from our mobile.so we are paying for both mobile n landline. But what's the point in keeping bsnl landline? we also complained several time about too much noise at different levels, but they are not bothered at all.BSNL service is totally disgusting.so what should we do, the better option is disconnect bsnl. but one thing before disconnecting we should go to consumer court with the proof n we have to teach lesson for them.

                  complaints against not opening of EPF account till date .We are the employe of BSNL ara since 2002 and also EPF is deducted since this time but till todey we are not getting my EPF account No and also balance sheet. After approching several time office only one answer we get that EPF office wants money and no solution at all till date . I also know where is my money and is we get employer contribution and interest on my deducted money or not. pls help me.

                    I am getting lots of marketing calls in a day [ while driving; while in a meeting,... ] - 20 to 30 useless calls & SMS

                    I have requested BSNL cellone to activiate my Mobile No. in the Do not call [ DNC ] list to get rid of this calls through SMS No. provided in the BSNL Cellone website for this complaint

                    I registered in SMS 3 months before as per their directions; i got only acknowledge from them but still i keep getting calls

                    Subsequently i registered 10 days before also but still i get only acknowledgement but no action taken

WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE GAMES FROM THAT DAY ONWARDS. CONTINUOUSLY REQUESTED FOR DEACTIVATION OF THE GAMES AND CANCELL FOR MORE THAN 10 DAYS. IT IS TO MY SURPRISE THAT AN AMOUNT OF RS.200/- CHARGED IN THE BILL FOR GAMES ON DEMAND BY THE BSNLIN MY BILL DATED 6-2-2011. PREVIOUSLY THE BSNL CALLED ME AND SAID PRIOR TO DOWNLOAD THAT GAMES IS FREE FOR ONE MONTH . WE EVEN DID NOT OPEN THE GAMES FROM THE DAY ONE, BUT THE BSNL CHARGED 200/- IN BILL DATED[protected]. EVEN AFTER AFTER SCORES OF REQUESTS THAT WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN GAMES AND REQUESTED TO DEACTIVATE THE GAMES .THE REQUESTS FOR DEACTIVATION AND UNSUBSCRIBE IS VALIED TILL THIS DAY. THIS IS NOT ONLY A COMPLAINT BEFORE THE BSNL BUT ALSO BEFORE THE CONSUMER FORUM.PLEASE CANCEL THE BILL OF RS.200/- AND DEACTIVATE THE GAMES .                               My BSNL WLL phone No.215407 is been changed form billing to prepaid without any notice.
                              I want My BSNL No. to be changed to billing again. Mr. Prajapati from BSNL office Palghar who is the responsible person is unable to help and answer any question. No one in the Palghar BSNL office is ready to help. I have paid all pending bills, now there is no outstanding on the No.215407 and I am also ready to pay the charges if any. But Mr. Prajapati from BSNL office Palghar the responsible person not ready to help any way. Mr. Prajapati the senior person in BSNL office have suggested Me to take another new connection but unable to give any resolution.

                                I am Praveen and i brought a BSNL 3G DATACARD on[protected] with the number [protected] , hoping that it would be useful for my engineering studies. At the time of purchase i was told that i would get a speed of 7.2Mbps but instead i am getting a speed of 2Kbps. When i tried to complain about this issue, the officers incharge started blaming different customer service centers and made me to roam each and every customer service center in bangalore, yet there was on response and i am still stuck with the low speed broadband with my exams approaching round the corner.                                 BSNL is fooling customers. Considering the comparatively cheaper data plans, i shifted to Bsnl 3G from Tata Docomo 3G. But my decision went wrong when I got 15-20 kBps meager speeds during 8 am - 11 pm, after tht only 120-150 kBps( these r downloading speeds with IDM, surfing speed is more worse than downloading speed). I opted for Rs.606 data plan. I m having to stick with this stupid company till the end this month, coz i cant afford to go for another data plan of docomo.
                                I m residing within 400 metres of main Bsnl exchange tower and using ZTE MF180 3.6mbps device.

                                I suggest people to go for Tata Docomo 3G, because it gives consistent speeds of 2 mbps - 3.2 mbps on 3.6 mbps device for 24 hours.

                                Dear admin, please escalate my complaint to BSNL officials. i badly need good net speeds, but unable even to surf websites with bsnl 3g. my bsnl 3g no. is [protected]

                                  I have applied for landline and broadband shift on 10/12/2010 till now i am not able to use broadband connection.

                                  I have called up Ulsoor telephone exchange and have been to thetelephone exchange in personal.
                                  There is no proper answer from the officials.

                                  Could some one please suggest me what to do further to get the broadband connection back.

                                  i had a phone number at sanjay Nagar Exchange in Bangalore. (XX410755), I submitted the application for transfer on 23 Feb 2009 to shift it to HSR Layout ( XX725022) i got the telephone connection after 2 months. I am calling for the broadband connection. either the concerned person do not pick up the call or just say i will check. Today concerned person picked up the call and said the username creation is not done. It is already 2.5 months for the transfer.

                                  Initially the BSNL told me that i dont have to submit the instrument. Later on when i went to commercial office they told I have to submit the instrument thats why the delay. When the other people came for installation they told me that i should not submit the instument. I dont know what is going on.
                                  I paid one month rent for nothing as the application itself was not considered.

                                  now too I think the broadband guys are not able to respond to the query. I have called up at least 25 time out of which the concerned people picked up the call 10 time and told they will check and come back.

                                  Can you give me some complaint number where i can go or call to resolve this issue.

                                    my evdo works on every system except mine...n every other data card(evdo, tata photon, ..etc...) runs on my system...what shud i do
                                    I am Manobendra Ghosh, from Shillong, Meghalaya and I would really appreciate if any one at BSNL, the largest service provider in India can reasonable explain the following;
                                    when I approached BSNL a few month back for Broadband connection, I was told that the series of telephone no starting with 25 at shillong, meghalaya, is having some problem and Broadband cant be given for sometimes. When I enquired how long it would take, i was told it's uncertain and was advised to go for a data card instead. I approached BSNL for a 3G data connection and again I was told that the area where I am staying is a shadow area and 3G wont work, instead I should go for a EVDO connection which would provide me good connectivity. I agreed and I took a EVDO data connection.

                                    The EVDO NO issued to me is[protected]
                                    Though slow it worked somehow in Shillong. When I tried to connect from my office at Kyrdemkulai, it showed "NO Service". when contacted BSNL, I was told that EVDO service is not available in Kyrdemkulai area. After sometimes I went to Guwahati, the EVDO showed signal but it could never connect and open any site. Next time I visited Bangalore, the same thing happened and the last time I was in Delhi and suffered the same fate of "No service". After returning to Shillong I visited the BSNL office at Barik and I was flatly told that EVDO do not work in Delhi. Now, since two weeks now, after returning from Delhi, most of the time connecting to internet service fails with a message on the screen "The remote computer did not respond etc" I contacted the BSNL authority complaining about the service, and I was assured of rectifieng it, but with no response at all

                                    My question to the BSNL authority is,

                                    (1) why should i pay for a Dongle connection, when I do not have the mobility?

                                    (2) why BSNL could not exchange this "excellent srvice" of EVDO with other Data Plan which actually works?

                                    (3) why not provide me with a Broadband connection when i am supposed to use it only at my home?

                                    (4) why i should spend so much of money for a portable internet connection when actually it does not work anywhere else, rural or even urban place like New Delhi?

                                    (3) when BSNL will stop cheating customers with these sort of misinformation and no service at all?

                                      I have been using sancharnet internet (Dial up connection) since last 3 years. I know that sancharnet internet have to be renewed every year. My sancharnet internet conncetion is pending for renewal Dt.[protected]. This is for your kind information that I have already paid the amount of Rs. 281/- for Renewal of my sancharnet connetion receipt no. 40788/103 Dt.[protected] but till date[protected] my sancharnet connection has not been renewed by Jagdalpur Exchange Officer.

                                      For this purpose I have contacted to the intenet officer to know why my sancharnet connection is not renewed. Then I understood that BSNL has launched new software and they have not received proper guidelines or software from their head office.
                                      Then I have teken this matter to TDM of Bastar and the TDM of Bastar had told me that they would talk to head office to get information for renewal of sancharnet internet connection.
                                      Till date nither TDM nor internet oficer had contacted me.

                                      I met several times to the officer of internet section of Jagdalpur but they did not gave satisfactory answer and always told me that they will talk to senior officer's or head office.
                                      I don't know why they are not taking necessary step or action to solve my problem.

                                      I think that this is the reason for reducing BSNL customer Day by Day. The BSNL officer's did not give proper attention to their customer's and not make proper effort to solve the customer's problem.

                                      If this kind of services are given by the BSNL officer's to their customer's then customer will shift to other operator for better services.

                                      Already 12 days gone but they have not collected proper guidelines or software from their head office.

                                      I understant that no work impossible but to make it possible you have to give your proper efforts.

                                      So I request you to please avail the proper guidelines or software as soon as possible to the Jagdalopur exchange to solve my problem and please take some necessary action or step to slove my problem.

                                      This is a bit harsh for the BSNL . I am writing this because i happen to know the kind of pressure some ppl in BSNL face while doing their job. It is very easy for us consumer to say that BSNL ppl are hopeless. But my experience with private company is worse. Atleast TDM has told that they would contact head office and let you know. He might not have contacted you lateron, have you tried to know why? Thing is that we never see that they are also human, after serving the people. They are public servant, ok but we sometimes treat as if they are doormats?
                                      I am also residence of Jagadalpur and would like to comment one thing abt the working TDM . I had a complaint like sharma ji about my broadband in saturday night and very urgent data to send to delhi. I called this gentleman at around 8PM . He picked up and said i can not commit at this momment but try to restore the service.
                                      At 9 PM someone knocked and asked TDM sir ne bheja hai ... apka bradband kaam nahi kar raha hai?

                                      The guy worked till 1130 night, could not attend. So he said he would come later. I tht now before monday i wont be able to use and decided to go to cafe next day. At 8 AM tomm sunday, My broadband was OK. After 30 min TDM called and asked if my broadband ws ok.
                                      I was pleasantly surprised ? I thanked him .. He intimated that last night the guy tried in their exchange till 1 AM and got some technical things attended.

                                      So My advice to all service users are that we are consumer and very hurridly make opnion about any one which is a bit premature.
