We have complained regarding non availability of outgoing calls and non functioning of dynamic locking system on 3.06.2010 against our telephone no.24630661 to the Divisional Engineer (Intl/Extnl), Russa Exchange, Calcutta Telephones. Nobody has attended the complaint till date even after 17 days.

BSNL Mobile — no network under roof

I am from bhusawal dist jalgaon of maharshtra .i am suffering form no network under roof .I am regd my complent as no 3214844 dt 2 /8/2009 but there is no action on the same . now i want to go to consumer court can i do it

I am forwarding herewith (Trailing Mail), the above Grievance report of mine, registered at your Call Centre on 15/05/2009, which remains unresolved till date, in spite of Reminders.
My problem has deteriorated. I cannot get connectivity from my bed. Connection from balcony or roof-top also gets disconnected very frequently in less than a minute. You may send someone to verify my grievance.
Kindly take necessary steps for redress of my grievance by restoring connectivity.
I shall expect an email acknowledging my complain submitted to you as the Nodal Officer.

Dear Sir,

Kindly refer to my Complain (Docket No. 3672931 dated 15/05/2009 at BSNL customercare no. [protected] ), Kolkata.

Your connectivity has further deteriorated and I, a protagonist of Public Sector, am now compelled to think of changing to some private network, unless some immediate action is taken. It is painful to mention that no one from your end did even contact me and tell how long it may take to rectify the defect.

I have two connections from BSNL, viz, [protected] and [protected].
I am a resident of 11/2/1-A, Becharam Chatterjee Road, Behala, Kolkata-700034. I am not getting BSNL network connection from my room for about last six months. I am to run to roof or balcony to receive incoming call, Then again these calls get frequently terminated for network failure. I lodged a complain with my Helpline of BSNL ([protected]) but no action has been taken. My e-mail complains to the BSNL Grievance cell, Nodal Officer and Appellate Authority also remain un-replied.
Not responding to my complains is also unfair, if not illegal.
NORMALLY, I SHOULD GET UNINTERRUPTED NETWORK CONNECTION FROM MY BED.
BSNL DID NOT INFORM ME THAT I SHALL HAVE TO GET THEIR NETWORK CONNECTION FROM ROOF-TOP OR ROADS ONLY.
As such, I believe, all these amount to blatant breech of contract.
What can I do to compel BSNL to rectify the unbearable situation?
Can you please guide and help?
Present Position: Failing to get any response, I contacted BSNL prepaid mobile Helpline ([protected]) again and they registered another complain (Docket No. 5700719 dated 02/08/2010). As usual, there is no response till date (26/08/2010)

Dear sir,

I am one of the customers of BSNL for more than two decades last, holding tel. connection no. 22423722.

In the last part of September, my telephone connection turned dead and, as usual, a complaint was lodged with your automatic fault booking system.

Having no restoration of the telephone services, while inquiring on the status of the complaint lodged, I was informed through the automatic reply that no complaint was pending for the above tel. no. of mine. I, however, had immediately lodged another complaint under no. [protected] of 11th october, 2912 and had been regularly following up on the status of the restoration work and had been being informed as "the work was in progress", until 20th October, when suddenly and surprisingly I was informed again that there had been no complaint pending relating to my above telephone no. though the line was still dead.

In an utter confusion.I had lodged the third complaint through you automatic fault booking system on 20th October bearing no. [protected], and had the same experience until 5th November, when I, having been communicated in the same language that no complaint is pending on my above tel.line, had to lodge yet another, i.e the fourth one bearing no. [protected] on 5th November and had been awaiting, perhaps stupidly, for restoration of my BSNL Tel. Services.

At this stage, I, out of serious dejection, started looking for someone in Grievance redressal exercise in BSNL and contacted the Customer Care Services at the toll free no. 197. I was referred by them the telephone no 2235 6622 for redressal of my complaint, and all my attempt to contact on that tel. no. was futile.

On my getting reverted back to the Customer care, I was ridiculously asked as to how did I get that no. and the correct no. will be the one of the CGM-CTD which is (o[protected], which also, despite all my futile effort remained totally inaccessible .

And my third effort to seek effective support from the Customer Care executive ended in yet another corrective reference, providing by them as tel. no. 2415 0002 of CGM,
which too was, sometime inaccessible and sometime non responding, as usual, till date.

To day while trying to find out the status of restorative work, with a grim hope, I was again shelled back with the same comment for the fourth time that you have no complaint pending on my tel. no. and having been constrained to lodge my Fifth complaint, bearing no. [protected], out of total frustration, I prefered to take the opportunity to place on record the unique model of Customer Care extended by BSNL, the Apex body of the Govt. of India for telecommunication

While on the subject I may also be allowed to put on record the important role, the above telephone connection has in my family, which is consisting of Four senior Citizens only, in an age range of 61 to 92, out of which my mother who is 92+ is a bed ridden patient fighting the bite of a "Non Hemorrhagic Cerebral Infarct" she had suffered on January last.

In the light of above, I wish to submit most humbly that having no services from the above telephone connection of mine, despite sticking and banging my head from pillar to post, kindly oblige me by either restoring and ensuring the uninterrupted telephone services essential for the family, or treating this communication as the one for surrendering my telephone connection from the date of my first complaint i.e end September.

    i received a url sms about stock information. I clicked it just to see what it is. As soon as i clicked it 30/- were deducted. The reason for complaint is that i was not given enough info about the service.so that i didnt get the time to decide wether i want to use service or not.and i had to lose 38/- on a service i dont want to use. If a govt org is using such false practices then its a pitty for indian people-[protected]

      My LL NO 2438614 with broadband facility,I do not get my bill on my bank ac even after several days.For last 2 weeks , I am trying to pay the bill online through BSNL online payment gateway. First it was not accepting my details and now, I can view my bill but when try to clik PAY ONLINE , I can not pay because I do not get any gate way of any bank .
      The authorities who should check the website ,whether it is properly working or not, whether it is user friendly, do not BOTHER about it.
      May be , the officers are computer illiterate.

        Sir,
        My cell No. - [protected] in the Name of S.P. Lawania from Agra .
        Regularly I get unwanted messages from BP-56363 , and after that a sum of Rs. 8/- are charged from my balance by no.[protected] and this is happening from 2nd week of March, 2010 . For which I lodged a complaint on your customer care service vide complaint no. - 6136752, but still the balance of Rs. 8/- is deducted per week , causing me a financial loss of more than Rs. 100/- .
        So I request your good-selves to stop the service immediately and Refund the amount with Interest by way of crediting my balance.

        I[censored] won`t hear then I shall be constrained to move to consumer-forum against you.
        I hope u will do the needful favorably.

        BSNL Cellone — Refund not given

        I had surrendered sim card on April 4, 2008. My cell number was [protected]. I want to get the security refund & rest of the balance back at the earliest possible. I had called the customer care in oct 2008, nothing happpened & now that no. does not exist anymore. Pl help.

        I have surrendered my Cellone Sim card & got the connection cancelled for my cell number [protected]. Till date I have not received the refund (Rs.2000/-) from BSNL. Its been 1 year since I have surrendered the Sim. I tried to contact the customer care service, but the number ([protected]) is no longer in operation. Pl help..

        BSNL — Incompetency of BSNL internet sevice and harrasment caused by them

        Internet and phone services are not at all working from last couple of months.Whenever i called for costumer care services, they keep on saying that, everything is fine, thier must be some problem in your computer. We have been paying the bill for the last 4 months, keeping in mind that they would take any step.And moreover whenever we went to the office they behaved very badly.We are dissatisfied by the services provided by them and also the harrasment caused by these people.
        I had complain for non-functioning of Broadband for 3 months (June~August, 2008) Ph: no. 2556 5789

        Your Paikpara Tel. exchange has accepted and assured me to refund Rs. 500/- for non-functioning of Broad Band service. So far I have not received payment on adjustment to my subsequent bill.

        Please confirm when I can receive refund which will be adjusted to my new bill Ph:[protected]because I have recently transferred to my new house and my transferred phone no.[protected]

        Nearly a year gap of settlement and refund claim astonishingly delayed !!!

        Dear Bsnl Officer,

        This is complain regarding following services not available from your end.

        1. Online complain number [protected] is no working its saying the number is deactivated
        2. Online complain[protected] is not available saying the same is available.
        3. a)Value added services like caller tune activated without my permission.
        Sent SMS to BT DEACT as well as BT DCT to 56700 as mentioned in websites but responding that invalid song code.
        b) To Deactivate GPRS sent message GPRSDC to 53733 but responded mail at “53733” to improve to internet experience
        c) Want To de activate news services but deactivation is not happening.

        In this way BSNL is billing me these services without my consent.
        Trying to lodge complain through customer care but it said[protected], service to this no. discontinued.

        So it’s very poor on BSNL part while providing service. They still working like SARKARI BABUS .

        My mobile no. is [protected]. For the last six months without my consent BSNL is deducting Rs. 20/- for East Vault Phone Backup service. I had never activated this service. I had sent sms several time requesting deactivation of this service but to no effect.

        Please disconnect this service as I do not require it at all.

        I will be grateful if bsnl stops harrasing customer.

          I wanted to watch TV on my mobile. Little did i know that it was still a dream .
          You first have to send an SMS “MY3GTV” & send to 55447 ( Rs. 2 for the SMS) and then the application link is sent to your mobile handset via SMS. Once the application downloads (Approx Rs 2 for the download charged by BSNL.)
          I then installed and opened the application and selected watching mobile TV - Channel ESPN MobileTV for one day (Charged Rs. 10 for one day subcription)
          Once I selected the channel it took five minutes to activate.
          Post which a list of programmes comes up ,this is again confusing as there is no time mentioned and I was assuming the ESPN channel to load LIVE which did not happen. I selected almost all porgrammes in the list but none seemed to be working all that I got was a buffer for 2 minutes and then a message saying " the channel will show at scheduled time." or something similar. I dont remember the exact text.
          Once i exited the channel I was charged around Rs.5 for the programmes none of which played forget live streaming of the videos .
          I wasted Rs 19 for nothing which i could have used to make atleast 1900 seconds of calls (@ 1p/sec )

            I have paid bill through BSNL site, through ICICI bank account on 16/05/2010 Bill date was 08/04/2010. I have got receipt

            generated by inter net. Its last date was 20/05/2010. on 21/05/2010 BSNL site added fine, my bill was Rs. 1056 which was paid

            on 16/05/2010. now it is showing Rs 1056+40(fine)=1096. It means my bill was not deposited.Please look into the mater.

            men 52906 se masala joke aa raha hai. Partdin 1 rupye kat rahe han. Maine Susbcribe bhi nahi kiya hai. Un subscribe karne ke liye Bsnl coustomer care par bat bhi nahi ho rahi hain. Agar joke ki seva ban nahi hui to main consumer court me case karunga.

            Sir, I CP Choudhary, Ranchi having mobile Nos [protected], [protected] and [protected]. So many amounts have been deducted from these Nos during last two months, for this I made several complaints with customer care. In spite of repeated contact with customer care still no refund has been given to the above Nos. It is watched that also no proper responce are being given by customer care.

            Sir, should I leave the bsnl service and I should advice to our near and dear to leave bsnl and join other company, as the bsnl is not for general people. Please advice further and immediate responce.

              BSNL - Landline Division — Landline not working...

              Hi

              i have a landline connection with BSNL- Chennai in the exchange Ambattur Chennai - 600053 and for the past one week my Landline is not working and also registered the complaint through phone and got the doc. no. Not only for my residence, more than 2-3 houses in that street face this problem and gave a complaint but till now no steps has been taken...very shame and worst customer service.

              BSNL — Landline not working in spite of complaint

              Land line telephone no.[protected] is not working properly since long last complaint was done on 30/10/2010 complaint no.12979.The linesman did come within a week and after fiddling with phone/line informed that the cable is required to be changed and he will get it changed with a day or two. Sorry to inform that no action has been taken since then. I am still waiting for readdressal of my complaint though several reminders have been given.               for years this is happening and now the phone is not at all working for months. we cannot use the land phone other than mobile, however, we are to pay the normal telephone bill without any fail.

              what the technicians there doing which we don't understand, only we know we cannot use the land phone.

                      {Phone line is not working properly and voice distortion}
                      We have a business farm at Nayapali, Bhubaneswar. We are using BSNL Land Line as our main contact number for our business and paying near about[protected] Inr every month. But the line is not working properly since from last 4 month & most of the time lot of voice distortion is going on.

                      We gave complaints so many times to BSNL. But till we don't get any improvement in the line. Now it's too much.

                      Finally if the problem will not solve we will go to consumer court for further step.

                        BSNL/CellOne — No Response From the Service Team

                        Hi,

                        This is Sridas. I started using my bsnl broadband from May 5, 2008, but I recieved a bill in May as I have used it in April also. No higher authorities have mailed me in response to the bill (extra bill) despite my repeated mails. Nobody has the courtesy to find out or to reply me why it has happened and how and everybody says go there, next counter. Is it ok to sue them...Please advice.

                          Please note that I am losing my peace and patience with unsolicited calls and text messages that keep on coming every day. I am receiving upto 25-30 unwanted SMS through various companies as advertisements for various products that I do not need. Also, I do not want to receive unsolicited calls from credit card/hotels/resorts/insurance callers etc. I had registered myself in the BSNL website so as not to receive any unwanted calls, but still it is a wonder how I am receiving so many calls from so many companies.

                          I also want to kindly request to stop the unwanted SMS that keep popping everyday from various advertisement companies as well as this has become the biggest nuisance for working people like us. Just imagine we are driving vehicles to reach our destination and we suddenly receive this advertisement. We stop at the side of the road thinking someone in distress has messaged us and when we finally park the vehicle and see the message of some advertisement, just imagine the situation.

                          I hope timely action would be taken in this matter.

                            For past few days I am facing the automatic redirection in IE browser to motive.bsnl.co.in.
                            I am using BSNL dataone broadband connection. Since last week, whenever I open google.com or some other site, it gets redirected to motive.bsnl.co.in. It is really annoying.

                            Couple of times, it happened when I was doing some online payments.
                            I tried installing it after downloading the software for about one hour and tedious steps. The software didnt work as it failed to detect the modem. During all these days I was calling 12678, the BSNL HELP DESK number which was answered for two weeks.

                            Yesterday at around 9 AM the call was answered and I was told by a lady that the software SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED AS IT RESETS THE MODEM.

                            If it should not be installed then why am I redirected?

                            I am very disappointed with BSNL not to mention there are so many other people who face the same issue.

                              Sir, I Md Aftar Hussain Chowdhury, now a NRI. I need a landphone with internet connection (so I can use video conferencing with my family members) in my home of Hatikhali, P.O Borhawar. Nagaon, Assam. When I was in my home I met a big profile officer in Nagaon BSNL office but he said me no benifit to apply for a new telephone as BSNL has no scheme for extending it's underground cable towards our village from Tangia Forest village.

                              We have experience of a faulty telephone line since 1998 to 2006. This line was with another 3 lines using naked wire with 27 posts and the distance between 2 wires in posts were only 1.5 inch, So often this naked wire jointed and line interrupot. But BSNL always send bill and we have to paid it. Several times we complaint about it but who hear us!.

                              Can somone give me a hand of help to gain a fault free telephone line in my home?

                                BSNL evdo has the worst services in Ahmedabad.... Technical team is poor to solve any issues from the consumer side .... " Sarkari Kamkaj" ..... My complain regarding the issue of poor network coverage at Vijay Char Rasta , Ahmedabad is still not resolved from past 15 days.....

                                    Still I have my new sim as well as I keep my old sim. I don't understand why they provided me new sim without handover my old sim. My new sim is not activated. I have again deactivate my 3G connection due to bad signal.

                                        My land line connection No[protected] provided with Broad Band is out of service from last 15-20 days. A complaint was registered on BSNL phone No[protected] with Complaint No. Ha [protected], but no one attended it. Today a fresh complaint has been registered with No.Ha [protected] as old complaint is not traceable. Please attend it urgently. There is some problem in the line, as some time we are getting incoming calls, but most of the time there is no dial tone.
