Sir/Madam,
I am a retired Dy. Secy. (Administrative Service) to Gov. and patient of bypass surgery. Both my wife and I have been suffering from lots of incurable and hard-curable diseases for long. We have no sparable suitable person to represent us in any office in need. I have a Calcutta Telephones' CellOne Mobile Tel. No. [protected]. Our lives have been made really a hell due to increasing number of commercial SMSs including ones of sexual invitation and the SMSs do come after almost every 10 to 20 minutes. I requested the Customer Care Centre of CellOne over Tel. No. 123 in Nov. last, an operator advised a way that I followed instantly with no result. Then I lodged a complaint over the same Tel. No. 123 with no result also. Then I sent e-mails to CGM, Calcutta Telephones and others concerned and expectedly with no result and no reply. Kindly do the needful.

        I have faced problem with Teracom LW272 usb data card. Though BSNL in their site demanded the "DATA SPEED" of this kind of modem as "3.6MBPS", while connecting the same in the internet it shows "Max Received Speed 48KBps". I have given the complain to BSNL customer care, but they were not able to give any solution. I have written a mail to Teracom sales department, but still now they are silent.

        Is there any solution of this problem? Otherwise stop making us fool.

        Data Card — SWITCH OVER FROM ONE DATA CARD TO ANOTHER

        Sir,
        - We have two Laptops;

        - And are using two datacardsof Reliance ;

        - One is card type & other One is Modem of Reliance ;

        - Plans used: Rs.999/- per month unlimited usage ;

        - But, speed of one data card is comparatively better(of Modem);

        - So we want to surrender one of them(Data Card) & opt for the better(Modem) in place of that;

        - So kindly guide us what can be done in this regard.

        USB Data Card — page is not displaying even it shows connection

        It means I am fool who spent 3500 hundred rupees for having your services at home in a suspended mode.
        Learning a lesson from this experience , Can I be ahead to suggest to use this data card

        Hi, I am Janeesh from Bangalore, I am also facing the same problem, But i think it is the problem of the interface software, you please check what is your actual download speed, for me it crosses 1 MBPS some times. But unfortunately the interface software doesnot show it. When i purchased it, for the first day it showed 800 KB/S but the second day onwards 48 KB/S is the maximum speed shown. I m pretty sure the actual speed is much better, but only thing, it flexuates very badly, may be because of the distance from the tower. You please check your actual speed by downloading something from a server, where there is no restrictions for the speed or go to www.speedtest.net.

        Hi, I am Pankaj from Bangalore, it appears that there is some problem with the data Modem LW272 provided by BSNL, when I connect through it, it gets connected but I don't get speed and after few minutes it totally stops working. When I use my mobile phone as modem with the same sim, I get very good speed up to 3.6 MBPS and my mobile indicates "H".
        bsnl gives half GB at Rs.276. poor coverage..not work in cell one range..works only in EDGE/UMTS range..
        and any one gets its 3.6 MBPS speed Presently works at 48KBPS (.048MBPS) It's software blocks to use other sim..But you can use with other SIM in "UBUNTHU 10.04 " Operating system... airte gives 2GB at Rs.98 and unlimited browse ...so use airtel sim..

        I am Bose Dayala from Hyderabad. I purchased BSNL 3G USB last month.I have converted my 2G SIM to 3G and started using it with USB data card.After one week my USB started saying "No SIM" but it shows IMIE number when I connected to my netbook.I went to customer service center and requested them to change the equipment.After long discussions one kind and generous officer agreed to change it nd gave me another equipment(which not a new one but some one rejected it due to another technical problem !!).New equipment worked for another week and unfortunately started saying again "No SIM" :-( .What shall I do now ? I have tested with another euipment of my firend and it works fine on my netbook.

        I stronlgy believe that Teacom is producing very poor hardware.If somebody knows any suggestion, kindly help.

        I am Srinivas from Rajahmundry(AP). I purchased the modem along with BSNL 3G SIM for only the purpose of internet browsing at my home PC. In the very first day the SIM got replaced by another as there was a MSG saying "NO SIM". After replacing the SIM it worked for 3 to 4 days then stopped working saying "no sufficient amount-pls recharge". As I am confidant I was not used to that extant. Then I approached the BSNL officials. They checked the modem repeatedly by conneeting to their PC for two full working days (simply connects with in 2 seconds disconnects with out warning) then they checked the SIM by installing in a mobile (GPRS) and found/started working. Thats how they confirmed that the modem is also diffective/failed to work within 4 days and they replaced the modem with as usual delay of their own time. This justifies two things...
        1) The BSNL is not equiped to diognise the problem in first cut-it is only trail and error method they followed.
        2) The Quality of modem (LW272) is so poor that it cannot work/withstand in our environment.
        3) The after sales service/warranty is not yet derived by the BSNL authorities- the customer should absorb the pain of taking their delay.
        Hence I personally feel it is not worth buying BSNL modem (LW272), rather the services as well as the decisions are much faster in other brands.

        hi i m rehan 25 days back i purchased taracom datacard by bsnl exchange it speed very poor they make me phool to take me speed it always 1 or 2 kbps

        BSNL / usb modem — speed of internet

        sir i had brought a bsnl usb modem cdma2000 SN VMC059534 which boosts to provide speed upto 144 kbps but the actual speed is in bytes or some times 2 kbps....they are robbing us of our hard earned money....this is unacceptable....this card costs 3000 rupees which is a good amount of money....but what we get is nothing in return...this is frustrating....i think the company should be accused of criminal charges..i m in great need of internet plz help me in solving my problem........thank you

Some times it works with good speed but generally not. I donot suggest to go with this device. However BSNL coverarge is good in this region.

But its of no use even in this also the speed is very poor. It takes a long time even one single song. What`s the use of trusting this company.         Hi, Rishi Kant here. Purchasing BSNL 3G data card(LW272) is as good as throwing your money in lavatory. BSNL is making fool by doing advertisement that this data card is faster than the bullet.this is bloody slower than the constipation. its normal speed is 1 to 15 kbps and max speed is 48 kbps.

        Hi,
        I have used BSNL 3G in Goa, when i took demo at the customer care I had done speed check which showed a speed of 600 KBPS, where as when i purchased a new 3G card, which i intially used from my mobile phone, and later purchased 3G modem, Idea netsetter unlocked one, the speed was just 256 and never went above 300 Kbps, so happened to visit the CC again he checked again on demo and to my suprise demo card gave a speed of almost 500, I insisted to insert my 3G sim in the modem and check the speed.

        Suprsingly the speed was 202 kbps, Is it that the sim card provided for demo by bsnl has some extra setting to fool ppl.

        recently my friend also purchased a data card and the speed is around 300 never cross 300, the 3G service is really poor as compared to CDMA (tata) which when tested gives 1.1 MBPS speed
        Formerly i was getting around 2 mbps with my teracom datacard..it went all r8 for 7-8 days..then i faced a terrible fall in speed..decreased to 15-20 kb..i can only say bsnl has started cheating people and making money..Its only loosing its reputation by such things..Anyways m not happy with bsnl and recomend not to purchase any of data card provided by bsnl..CCE are also fools..they know nothing & they never come with any updated information..-Ambuj

JUST switch the card to 3G mode and enjoys over 400 KBps <3.6mbps> unde full signal strength-- lightning speed.. thats real it works evn with a 3G phone too..BSNL 3G USB DATA CARD TERACOM LW272 is not auto switchover from 2G to 3G that damn thing is manually change over..         hey my name is MRUDIT PATEL from gujarat.the bsal 3g card is very poor.the speed is 45 kbps also i go to bought and they are says that you are bought this card and speed is 3.6mbps.not a total speed in this card i think the 3g is very "BAKVAS" plz not it bought .it's ok not a speed but i think that i bought a new pen drive 2500 rs it name is (LW272)
        This BSNLs teracom LW272 3G usb modem doesn't work properly with WIN-7 OS. Apart from all those heating problem, Speed displayed, Whenever i try to disconnect the internet session, several dialog boxes appear with a messge "Operation must use an updateable query" and the application gets hanged.Then Only choice of closing the application is from task manager.This really irritates a lot.

        Hi! BSNL 3G Data card is not so bad. Last day i tried my data card on friend's home. his room was on the 1st floor. When i plugged in my data card and started it, i got amazing speed instead of my home. Hey friend speed is just depend upon the coverage of network.. This data card is very cheap and best.. atleast for me it is...! Now i'm going to shift mt room on the first floor to have a lightning fast speed...:-)

Narendra from vizag has a problem of speed getting just around 15 kbps to 21 kbps since from the time i purchased bsnl 3G data card .i have purchased 20 days back., since then we didnt use it properly . if we want to open google chrome, its taking time for about 30 mins. since the time from purchase i have faced many problems.so please kindly consider my problem and rectify it as soon as possible .
        hi i am kapil kolte i purchased a BSNL 3G data card 3.6 Mbps one from indore very recently in INR 2500 with 2 months validity and 12GB usage, 2GB in day and 10GB in night and they told me that it will work any where in india.

        Finally it is not given me speed more than 48KBps, and also when i am downloading songs from songs.pk then for one song which is of 3.3 MB it takes around 22 min to download . Which is very poor speed in mumbai.

        Also i tried to change profile from BSNL 3G TO BSNL 3G SOUTH AND BSNL 3G WEST. with there respective APN address bsnlnet, gprssouth.cellone.in, gprswest.cellone.in but then it is only accepting BSNL 3G with the same slow speed again.

        Also the helpline no given [protected] not working . Saying it is not valid. Teracom guys saying may be the data card usb is having some problem.

        I am highly recommending you guys NOT TO BUY ANY DATA CARD UNTIL BSNL RESOLVES SUCH ISSUES .

        I am Nanda from Bangalore, I had BSNLs teracom LW272 3G usb modem for past 4 days and I totally disagree with you guys.If they say that its a 3.6Mbps modem signalling rate, it means that the value is theoretically achieved only, practical speeds are limited by the following factors:
        1) Crappy software in the PC.
        2) closer to the network.
        3) Traffic on the 3G network

        Normally the speed which can be achieved is 1/10 of the signaling rate-around 360Kbps.
        I get around 150-250 Kbps in peak hours.
        Off peak hours i get around 250-350 Kbps.

        Really what a good device.
        hi i am dr abrar and have purchased the datacard 15 days back i get speed in range of 48-250kbps, but when i test the speed on speedtest.net the speed is 1.2-1.5mbps, i think the problem lies with interface software, also the speed fluctuates a lot, what more can u expect from bsnl hopefully speed will improve in comming days-thius was told to me by bsnl official they r still in process of laying out the network so do not take hasty decisions wait for fewrweeks speed will increase, and check ur actual speed at speedtest.net
        So many complaints regarding DATA CARD in this forum.. Everyone venting their frustration thru internet.
        What is this forum doing for that ?
        Is there anyone taking action to make these service providers to give some BASIC service ???

        bsnl 3g sucks i bought it and got 6 months unlimited plan i only get most of the time speed of 5kbps and max same as others 48kbps my usb data card is LW272 3g is their any way i can get even 100kbps plz let me knw i am even satisfied with that BSNL u really sucks... and its quite true to say Bhagvaan Se Bhi Nahi Lagega(BSNL)... if any solution for it do write it fokes...tc.

        Purchasing BSNL 3G data card(LW272) is like purchasing a bunch of problems.
        whenever i connect this device to my pc it always shows that "NO SIM" or "NO Device".it works only when my firewall is off and no antivirus is loaded.and when i try to load a antivirus it show "NO DEVICE".
        After purcaseing this scrap(deta card), no one can help you even bsnl office's officers.they always says there is any problem in your pc. they never take this problem seriously.
        I am highly recommending you guys NOT TO BUY ANY DATA CARD UNTIL BSNL RESOLVES SUCH ISSUES.

        I have purchased 3G data card but after 2 days later i am not getting signal though data card with normal sim getting signal and 3G sim in phone is working but when i am trying to connect both 3g sim in the data card

        very poor service of 3 G BSNL Data card taracon ; Why i wast 2500 /- Rs. for Bying card holder, even this is not support with other network provider; in this condidation it will stop modem and program closed.

        In Dec_2010 I had TERACOM (LW272) BSNL DATA CARD. How it is functioning means I cant say in words...because I spend more than one week upto 2'O clock midnight to install and identify the problem with instrument or sim. finally I got speed upto 46 kbps. For downloading of 2 Mp it is taking minimum 4 to 9 minutes. Then you can image its speed.
        SUGGESTIONl : instead of buying 3G Modem (LW272) of BSNL it is 100% better to use 2G sim with normal mobile it will work better way for your satisfaction.

        SUGGESTION2: It is better to you 3G sim in 3G compatible mobile if you want much speed. BUT DONT BUY BSNL 3G DATA CARD... FOR any Qery...please contact [protected]...sujay
        it is fact man, it giving only upto 48kbps download speed, either we should get the solution or not go for this in future.
        I am Rajmohan, Bought Bsnl 3g data card from bsnl office on[protected], it worked good for exactly two weeks and now the data card is not detected by the computer. I Know data card is card is corrupted or gone. I visited bsnl office and called customer care many times but no proper response from them, they are not replacing my data card. Is anybody faced the same problem? is it possible to repair the data card
        in outside market? Otherwise How, where and whom i have to contact to replace my data card as soon as possible. ?

        The teracom hardware is very worst even though i am just satisfied with the bsnl 3G service. I never expected that the hardware will get failure.
        Please help me if you know any solution or idea.

        Heyyyy the same problem is with me too..Iam staying at BBSR...It showed speed upto 250 kbps for around 6-7 days.& then speed slowed down to 48 kbps.Also max received speed is 48 kbps...
        BSNL is making fool by advertising such rubbish things...displaying 3.6 mbps..

        I have purchased a BSNL tera com 7.2 Mbps data card(dongal) and as soon as i plug it in USB port, sound of any song or movie become zero and volume is still on unmute.

        bsnl services & data cards are really very stupid
        i also bought a 3g modem LW272 . net connection is very slow with this card.
        BSNL is very poor in this 3G service. I wasted 2000rs in water.
        i have 3G data card(LW273) 7.2 mbps... that modem only show edge network..tower distance from my home...only 1 k.m. ..they not replaceing my modem...and also no money back from them...plz help me...

        Hi, I am Deep Bhoj, from Hyderabad.I purchased the BSNL teracom LW272 3G usb modem yesterday itself.When the person from BSNL came to my home for demo, he used EVDO device which is a CDMA device.It gave a satisfactory speed.For 3G usb modems he said they will give atleast 1 mbps speed even if 3g netwrk will be low.But I got max speed 7kbps for EDGE/GPRS and 17kpbs for 3G networks.I used the IDEA netsetter also and it was again a hell.Now I believe these companies are just making fun of customers.They promise a lot but deliver the least.Customer just waste their money on these devices and he had no choice other than repenting on his own decision.

        So be aware of these fradulents.

        I have got my BSNL 3G after tata photon was not good enough, looks like tata 2g was better than BSNL 3g, it just shows 18 to 29kbps, never go beyond that, we cannot keep this device for long run because it heated up fast and stops automatically after few hrs of switched on. Looks like its programmed like that.

        BSNL is fooling people with low cost modem with high cost on public purchase.

        I had given them complain and they say the problem is from chennai line, i just laughed because the official in BSNL office are there for time pass and lady chit-chat.

          Bsnl employs especially lady staffs are illiterate idots and ehaves as if they are the top officials.I have similat experience from bsnl ofice mavelikara and the lady sitting there ill treats customers.She is surely from a very vheap setup.

                I have been trying to get a BSNL pre paid SIM for the last several days. Whenever I visit BSNL office, I am told to go to Pari chowk, where SIM is being distributed free by SDO R S Paharia. As there is no BSNL camp functioning in Pari Chowk, I am forced to return empty handed. Next I am told to go to Kailash hospital. There too no camp is being held. Again I am asked to go to Tugalpur where again there is no camp in place.
                Next I am told that I shall be delivered the SIM at my home address by one Balwantji. I keep waiting all day but no one arrives to give the SIM.

                What is the reason behind harassing the consumers? Are the senior officers hand in glove with private players ensuring that BSNL SIM is not sold while consumers are forced to get other connections?
                ISatya Prakash Saxena applied for Broadband internet connection and also telephone connection at my residence at Plot No. A-50, N.R.I.City Greater Noida some two months back. After long persuasion telephone line was connected about three weeks ago and I was assured that my internet connection will also be installed in a couple of days. Almost three weeks have elapsed but internet connection has not been installed and in the mean time telephone line is also not available after communicating the telephone connection number 2342015.
                Will some body look inti my grievance and settle the issue.

                    i have recharged my bsnl cell one sim card with a top up of rs.300/- through mobile banking facility provided by state bank of hyderabad on 25/05/2010. my phone no. is [protected] and i got a message that the transaction has been successful and rs. 300/- was deducted from the account. But my phone has not been recharged with the amount. the reference no. of the transaction is (oxi transaction id) is[protected]. and another reference id is[protected]. when i contacted the customer care by dailing [protected] the executive did not give me any proper reply, then he transferred my call to one mr. m. sribalu who did not even take my complaint, and did not give me any complaint no. saying that the reference no. is wrong. When customer care itself declines from taking a complaint from the customer and rejects on giving me a complaint no. then whom i have to complain. it is not the case of rs 300/- but the one mr. sribalu who said he was speaking from banglore ( wonder why bsnl is not having a customer care for people of AP in AP) cut my phone intentionally when i was speaking to him and again when i called him, he said that he will give a complaint on me. BSNL DOES NOT TAKE COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS AND ON THE OTHER HAND THEY ARE THREATENING THE CUSTOMERS THAT THEY WILL BOOK COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM. i want justice, your justice and i want is at the earliest. and i sincerely believe in the saying, justice delayed is justice denied.

                          I got an SMS from 12630035 numbers saying you can chat with people without mentioning the mobile number by subscribing to the facility for Rs.30/- per month. in this connection a made a call to customer service to provide block such type of messages from your side they said to me please call to 1909 and ask to block marketing calls, I made a call to 1909 and request to block the marketing calls they accepted my request and wait for 45 days to activate this I waited 50 days still the messages coming to my mobile. Again I call to 1909 and asked for status of blocking marketing calls on my mobile they verified and said to me unfortunately the request is not activated please do the request again, at that I made a second request to block the marketing calls they said wait for 45 days now the 45 days time period is over but marketing calls is not blocked I made a call to BSNL customer service center and explained my problem starting to ending they listened and finally they said to me 1909 service is stopped and no DNC service is available in BSNL Mobile. I checked PDNC status on http://pdnc.bsnl.co.in/registerPhnNoforDNC.aspx web link my mobile is registered in 2 Months back and confirmed the registration. I went to BSNL Cell One Office and asked for PDNC service they also checked the same link and said to me your mobile is registered 2 months back and confirmed, they said to me in my hands we register a complaint against this and wait for 2 to 3 days to take time, again this time is over still I getting the marketing messages from BT service. Please help me.

                          sir, i am really fed up even after registering on this facility.my tel.no. is[protected] and my complaint no. is CL[protected]. my father is suffering from diffuse brain injury and after receiving this unwanted calls gone violent which is very painful for our family. so sir please take this complaint very seriously because if it will not done the results will prove very harmeul to my father.

                            I have applaid for a new land line connection from BSNL on 17th april (work order no[protected] days over and they were unable to give the connection even after frequent visiting to the concerned telephone exchange(shankarpuram exchange) and bringing up the issue with the responsible authorities including the divisional engineer but nobody is taking any interest in solving the problem.
                            Utter neglegence and irresponsible from all the conserned BSNL executives.

                              i am receiving unwanted sms's from bsnl regularily, i've registered on the national 'do not call' list, as well as on the bsnl do not disturb number, with no results. the sms's continue all from bsnl. today from bp-51819 advertising 'naughty jokes' and 'jokes on girls', this is becoming pornographic. what can be done to stop these disturbances? i regularly complain to the bsnl website with no response.

                              BSNL — Receiving unwanted message

                              I am using a mobile number i.e. [protected] of BSNL. I am receiving filthy message. I have requested the company for DND twice. Received a message from the company that your number has been registered. But it is not being activated.

                              Further I am receiving message from TD-Info and Number[protected] that "Your number has won 1,000,000.00 in Cocacola 2011" and"Congrats, you have won $850,000 in ongoing INTE'L cricket mobile draw 2011. respectively.

                              I request the BSNL authority to kindly enquire the matter and to bane these number and organisation from sending this type of messages to public.

                              Further, I request to kindly activate my "DND" service at the earliest.

                                In reply to my below complaint, Today i have received one SMS from BSNL saying that "Your Broadband usage has reached 100% of total free usasge". When for last whole month I hardly got the Net connection, how would be the Free usage limit of 2.5 GB got exhausted ?

                                My request is to check my connection if the same been misused somewhere?

                                Broadband connection not working
                                Dear Sir,

                                I am resident of Ambernath (E). My BSNL Telephone number with the broadband connection is[protected]. I want to inform you thet my Broadband connection has not been working properly since more than last three weeks. I have lodged compliant twice. The person from the BSNL office visited two times. Whenever the person comes the line was working properly. But after that, again the same problem appears with the error that the “Network connection is unpugged”. In nights, the connection does not happen only. My humble request is that the problem should be cleared as permanent solution.

                                Please look in to the matter.

                                  Daily i'm receiving more than 10 sms from 59595. I don't know how to stop this service. I have sended STOP message to 59595, but no response, and then i tried UNSUBSCRIBE to 59595, I had received message like as given below.

                                  "due to techical issue, we are not able to process your request. please try again."

                                  I've tried up to 12 times (for each time they deducted Rs 1.20 per SMS)

                                  No use in sending unsubscribe message. still i'm getting message from 59595.

                                  BSNL Mobile — Unwanted message

                                  Daily i'm receiving more than 10 sms from 59595. I don't know how to stop this service.                                   I completely agree with this, what takes them 40 days to stop/deactivate messaging these useless messages, it doesn't even take 1 day to activate it.

                                  My mobile No is [protected]. BSNL wap service is deducting Rs.30 per month for bollywood zoom videos of the day. I want to unscribe this with immediate effect.They are not giving us the unscribing provision and deducts without prior notice. with regards Shahadevan

                                    My phone number is [protected], I live in Shrirampur, dist - Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
                                    I got the broadband service about a month ago, and have been facing disconnections since then. I work full time, and my work (job) is entirely online. I depend on internet like anything, but BSNL had been so careless about their customer's needs. I face the disconnections almost everyday, it varies from 5-10 minutes to whole day. It is costing my job, when I launched complaint, the representative gave me another phone number to call, when I called that number, he gave me third number to call, which I couldn't call, as I received the message that the phone is not active. I have been calling their land line number during working hours but no response, how can they be so careless. I am so furious at this moment as I just faced another disconnection a while ago, and then decided to write an email to top authorities of BSNL, but I wasn't successful in finding their email address or another phone number where they could help me with this. IF they can not provide a good service they don't have any right to stay in the market.
