sir
i am citizen of dehradun and i have take a connection on 08.09.2008 and i regeret to said that my bsnl broad band connection did not work it shows error 678. the remote computer did not responding.
i have complain at 197 and other numbers but bsnl worker did not solve my problem now my internet connection is not working anybody did not take any action about it.
i am press reporter i am sending you my i card copy also
i am not intrested to print about bsnl activities in media
if my problem will be not solve then i will print the truth of bsnl service in news papers. i have evidence also

BSNL Broadband — internet connection not work frequently

sir I would like to submit this kindly for prompt action.. I got connection 1.5yrs back first two months very poor service. I complaint many times but no response. they did everything time being only. hope I complaint more than 100 times but still struggle. so finally i wish to apply at consumer court.pls help me

    I MADE A PLAN TO PURCHASE ONE INDIAN TELEPHONE CARD FROM BSNL PORTAL ONLINE ON 11/09/08.
    I MADE PAYMENT THROUGH MY BANK (I HAVE TRANSACTION RECEIPT ALSO) AND MY MONEY WAS DEDUCTED BUT I COULD NOT GET THE PIN NUMBER TILL DATE.

    Today, 11/2/2009 I have purchased one indian telephone card from BSNL portal for Rs562. I made payment through my Axis bank a/c, transaction receipt is ICONN/7846469/[protected]/110209/110. and debit my a/c also same time. At the time system given me a 14 digit no ([protected]) please give me correct 16 digit IT secret number or Rs562 credit my a/c .

My mob set is Samsung SGH - B520. and I was dial up with *99***1# but the error is contiuning. That why I was continue ph to the Customer care contiuniusly but no positive reply is from them. They are adviced me that my complain already been fwd to the concern deptt. and but no phone or call tome from your concern department. Please do the need ful. I am wait for your positive action.

      i have get my bsnl broadband connection ulimited at 08.09.2008 . i regert to said that my bsnl broad band did not work it shows error 678.
      the remot computer did not respond

      Despite the complaint lodged two days, once again this morning the error 678 has re-appeared and the broadband is down.
      Cannot reach complaint booking on 1500 as IVR systems abruptly stops and no oned answers 2225225 ( time 11.35am)
      Finally I have lodged complaint # 4 on phone 2385385 ( Telephone exchange at Sushant lok, Gurgaon)
      Please note high frequency of error occurrence on account error 678

        I am a customer of BSNL CHENNAI telephone for more than
        twenty .years. My telephone instrument is not working properly.
        While making call by my friends and relatives there is no corresponding ringing here. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work.I will be much obliged if you arrange to change the instrument at the earliest.

Network coverage is full but it always demands select network OR show emergency calls only. when i do search for networks cellone is there but when i select Cellone, the error comes, Forbidden network. I took new SIM card today morning around 11:00 am for the same number, as of now the SIM is not activated. I am really wondering about the services offering by BSNL to customers.           BSNL 3G — Never Activated

          I got a coupon with BSNL broadband bill which told to ask for a free 3G sim. I went to the BSNL customer service branch (behind IIMB, Bangalore). They saw the coupon and provided me the sim card with the number [protected]. They told that it would be activated within 24 hours. It was not activated for 2 days. When I went on the third day, they said that it would happen by 22nd, Aug since the free sim activation link has not been updated in the application that they use. When I went on 23rd and complained that the sim is not working, they told that they do not have any offer of free 3G sim card and returned my application. Further, they told if I want my sim to be activated, to pay Rs 180 to them. In my life, I always refrained using government services because they are slow and people are not helpful and money oriented. For the first time, I took BSNL broadband and was happy to see that services are good. With the experience of the 3G sim, I came to know that the customer service is 10000 lightyears back.

          you are right. they make fake promises especially bsnl and then do not deliver. May be the 5000 cr loss or another 10000cr will make them some responsible. I dying to see bsnl giving govt the 3g cost.

              I had been facing problems since (6 months) when i get first time broad connection from bsnl, i had been complaining again & again but there is no response from BSNL Office the condition is as it is, i am not able to use my broadband connection, despite i am giving the monthly fee for that broadband connection.

              It isvery hard to describe to explain why the internet connection fails to connect. But there is a logical reason why it didnt functioned the way it should . We did forget to power up the modem.
              I am a user of bsnl dataone. When I dial dataone it sows an erroe "the phone line is busy". Please give me the solusion.
              try changing your modem (or) reset your modem
              my net shows error code 676
              For error 676, "The phone line is busy", we have to reconfigure the modem.
              Solution steps:
              Go to http://192.168.1.1
              Give username and password as : admin ( A new window will be opened)
              Open advance setup
              Trace out the VPI/VCI values as 35/0 and click on edit at the end of the row.
              Click on next (no Modifications)
              In connection type select eigther PPPOE (for always on mode) or Bridging (for single user)
              [ in PPPOE mode give u r username and pwd]
              Click on next
              click on next
              click on save
              click on save/ reboot
              Wait for 2 minuter untill ADSL/ LINK and Ethernet/ WLAN lighter are stable and then u can brow internet

              we are using BSNL broadband. Last couple of months the password is automaticaly changing. we cannot access the internet.we convey to the bsnl. and they rectify that. They save dataone icon in desk top and give default password also.This is worked for 4 hrs. Now we give password.it shows error connetion678. Intenet conection is not open. How can we change it. BSNL Technicians also blame us for the change of passwod.But we are not doing like that. while we we connect our modem it show

              i waana suggest u something which can be remove ur problem.

              First of all make sure ur : user name and password
              bothe are correct, if yes

              then in dial up connection under options tab increase the "idle time before hanging up" to maximum like 24hrs.

              then under security tab select : "Require sequred password".

              hope this will help u to remove ur problem.

                I took a broadband connection from BSNL (Calcutta Telephones) one and a half month ago. Though I have applied over 6 month before. But anyway I have got the connection. After that it ran for 15 days, then the original drama started. When I try to connect it is giving a error 678. And it is not connecting. I called there 24 hour help desk(which is usually on IVRS only after 5PM, no one there to take direct calls), and booked the complaint. But one month has past and I am still suffering, no one is bothering to solve the problem. Everyday I try to call the local exchange(669), but no body is there to pick up the phone. Still I know that my bill will come and I have to pay. But the fact is that I have to pay for no service. This is BSNL(Calcutta Telephones).

                I have BSNL Broadband from last 8 months, but before 10 days some problem occoured and it got disconnected. Now, I am not able to connect the internet. As I am doing most of the things online from my home and many of the things I do depends on internet. From past 10 days my work has completely stopped. I have given the complaint on 3 to 4 times on the same complaint number i.e, 41549. I have followed it up 5 times but they are not taking this as on priority.

                Two months back I have paid the Unlimited Broad band bill and contacted at Service Supervisor/JE at our Place to change the tarif[censored]nlimited Broad band to Limited broad band i.e., Rs.500/- month tariff. Since two months no action has been taken, and they replys that, we are no way connected to change the tariff just we makes entries in the Computer. Remaining have to look higher level officers or some other persons which they are concerned from District Head quarters or Bangalore Head Office. Where we have to approach to change the tariff and to restore Outgoing calls. Please advise in this regard and arrange to depute concerned persons to rectify the same. An earliest action in this regard is highly appreciated please.

                  I had taken a connection in 2004 from Tezpur BSNL. This number was surrendered in )ct 2005. Last week- Sept-2008. I received a letter from the Chief accounts Officer speaking about unpaid dues. I seriously dont understand why it took the organisation so long to send me such a letter- if ever there was such a problem. Contacting the concerned person on is desk is impossible and he is never free for an appointment. Mails have been sent but there has been no response from the Assam circle. Delhi has deigned to reply saying that they are looking into the matter. But the letter from the Office - Assam BSNL threatening "Legal action" gives me only 7 days. I am in a quandry as to how to proceed. How can a named organisation like BSNL harrass the common people like this?
                  Please refer my mobile no. [protected]. I have paid my bill for the period of 01/06/09 to 30/06/09 in the moth of July'09 itself. But my outgoing services have been discontinued from 11/08/09 onward. Please resolve the problem at the earliest.

                    (i) Subscriber needs to dial 56700 from the BSNL network.
                    (ii) Subscriber will listen the welcome message.
                    (iii) Subscriber needs to select the language, in which he wants to continue.
                    (iv) Select the option ‘4’ for entering to your profile.
                    (v) Select the option ‘4’ for unsubscribe the service.
                    2. Through Web:

                    (ii) At User Login enter your mobile number & passward.
                    (iii) Now click on to ‘My Album’.

                      It is to be noted that I have been using a telephone connection (Phone No. 224021) with a registered customer ID 1788602 for availing the telephony services for the last 4-5 years. I have started using this connection for broadband services (Home Plan 750 Unlimited) for the last 1½ years. This way the monthly financial burden was nearly Rs. 900 a month for the use of broadband. All went good till end of May 2008, but now I have been produced a Bill No 47100017 for the month of June and July 2008 amounting to Rs. 5783.00, which seems inappropriate in all the way. When discussed with personnel of BSNL unit in Bhadohi, I was stunned to note that my plan (Home Plan 750 Unlimited) has been changed to Business Plan without any request for plan change from my side. In this connection, I contacted various personnel at Bhadohi office to track the file and come up with the facts. The personnel at Bhadohi office agreed that there were no any request for plan change and admitted the discrepancies in the bill, hence suggested me to get it rectified from Commercial Office, Varanasi.
                      Again I approached Varanasi office on 3rd of September 2008 to discuss the matter. A letter in this regard was submitted there on same day. One of the personnel at Varanasi Branch said because you live in the PC Market and must be using the connection for business purpose, hence your bill is correct. One cant stop him from laughing to hear such an irresponsible statement from an authority like him.
                      I wish that this case be looked into deeply and I may be suggested appropriate steps for the correction in the Bill.
                      Moreover with such silly statements from craps is causing great amount of loss to the entire nation in terms of monetary implication.
                      An early look up in this case shall be highly solicited.

                        Hi,

                        It has been almost more than 3 weeks our home BSNL Landline 26480285 has not been working.It was initially a case of late payment of the bill and we assumed in a day or 2 it would be set right.After numerous failed attempts to contact BSNL we got to know that our landline is now in safe custody.How did they decide to put it into safe custody we have no idea.We have not placed any request for the same.Each time we call the BSNL Customer Service, we get shuttled bewteen different numbers that we are expected to call up.Some of them being 22448181, 26541500 which are always engaged.No one seesm to know what is wrong and it appears like BSNL only tries to get rid of complaints by making them call up numbers which they know are always busy.Their complaint forum online is of absolutely no use.Please help!

                            hello,
                            I am seriously fed up from highly poor, unresponsive and ridiculous behavior of BSNL officials especially Mr.A.K.Sharma (S.D.O. Dehradun). Whenever we face any problem regarding our broadband we have to wait atleast 30-40 days for its repair and sometimes still unrepaired same as this time...Every time during need I have to rush to cyber cafe although I have connection of my own (which now I feel is seriously useless) .

                            Kindly pay attention on your pathetic services otherwise everyone have to think over to switch over on another connection like me.

                            I am an customer of BSNL BroadBand services and really want to share with all my experience with all o[censored], actually m running an cyber with only 5 computer with the BSNL BroadBand connection, and i want to say that " IT's really Sucking me Every Day i handling it" . Actually what the thing is i regularlly has problem with it and when i call 197 to lough a complain they said "It's not over work " our work is only to take complains and forward it, and if have problem then take this number and that number and that number not even respond".
                            M daily trying to get rid of it, but it's my badluck that our location is little bit interior so sify and other are not have their line's here and I am really Fed-up with "BSNL BroadBand" . What to do if someone had the answer of my query Plz... i m waiting...

                            BSNL Broadband — Delay in connection & Rude behavour of BSNL exchange employees with customers

                            I have applied for BSNL broadband connection last one week but till now nothing is happening. When I had been to BSNL exchange office in BTM Layout, Bangalore, there behavior is so rude, Mr. Sriniwash (employee of BSNL exchange BTM Layout) has shouted on me and when I have asked that oter service providers are giving connection within 3 days then he is showing me hand. He told me that talk to officer, when I asked where is he, answered me that he is outside so go and search is main road.... rudly. he told me that still it will take one more week means total 2 weeks, after weeks also it is not sure ki I will get the connection.

                            I just want to know to the BSNL high athorities that is this way to behave with your costomers. I know nothing is going to happen...
                            Next month only I will take any private sector BB connction, at least they will behave with their customers in well manners.

                            I have a broadband connection to my phone no.[protected] with 500C plan. But i cannot access full dounload speed which usually goes to 200KBps. I got the speed within 20-60 KBps usually. sometimes lower than it. Also i cannot open the site to see my Broadband usage due to page error. I complent for it many times in my local Telephone Exchange i.e. Belurmath Exchange. But they usually say that it is totally good by their ends.

I want to change the name from my late fathers to mine.my father expired in 1988 and since then I am paying the bills regularly. Since now we are getting reimbursement for telephone bill from office, I am unable to claim because the connection is not in my name.and also I want to get broad band connection.I had approached your office near Darshan lal crossing opposite St.Thomas school and submitted the form for transfer twice, one they misplaced the forms submitted in triplicate next time they refused to take the form saying since the connection is OYT category the phone cannot be transferred.Then they said I have to meet some officer and talk to him without asertaining whom to talk to and the number will remain the same and it will be in my name. I am confused by this sort of reply. Kindly let me know how to get the phone changed in my name, or else I have to take another connection and stop paying future bills for this phone. waitin for you reply to help me out.

The higher authorities of BSNL should take immediate action in this regard. Otherwise, people will not wait for your action, rather they will take action to get detached from the burden of BSNL and then BSNL will feel burdened by the people like SDO… Patelnagar.                               Respected Customer Care Executives,
                              I am using BSNL broadband connection (500 compo plan) since Aug 10th. All these days i didnt get the speed as u offered(2mbps). I am getting a downloading speed of 2 to 6kbps b/w 6 am to 8am. Then 20kbps to 40kbps b/w 9am to 10am. The rest of the time the downloading speed is diffrent sometimes 2kbps sometimes 20kbps. Today morning I tested the internet speed in an internet speeedometer Web. The speed shown is 12.2kbps. This speed is very low
                              Also their is another problem am getting a very low speed than that i mentioned above when i connect ADSL splitter. Now i directly connected that line to my Dlink modem. In the begning i thought it was the problem of my ADSL splitter. I bought a new one. But the same problaem is occuring again. Infact i couldnt use phone while using internet.
                              I tried to call u several times to 2378440, 2377879, 2324844, 2324811, 2324822 thse numbers. But i couldnt get u. Plse take necessary steps to solve this problem. My landphone number is[protected] mob num:- [protected]

                                I booked my connection through bsnl shoppe franchise : Vasantha Comunications opp . Kamaraj arangam, teynampet . i booked it on 20.08.08, paid the deposit of 5oo /- too . Ive still not received a connection of the telephone it self . due to urgency n renowned company only i booked it with bsnl but as of now its not serving the purpose . Ive been following up every day, the response is really bad . Request you to send the line man for connection and finish the job as early as possible .                                       I hav been using BSNL Broadband since May 2008 and it is disheartening to know that i am unable to browse with this connection. The telephone line is always havning som disturbance. and i l lnever get the link steady for more than 5 minutes. I hav called the engineer in our exchange. But now i am fed up wid compling to her.

                                      I also wanted to shift to a higher plan from ma eisting plan. But the poor response to my complaints from the conerned authority is forcing me 2 to quit the connection.

[protected] but when it was not attended then I called D E on mob.                                       BSNL Broadband — Disturbance & poor conectivity

                                      My Telephone No is 24989935 & I have Broaband Service with this phone
                                      Since last one week we are facing two problems
                                      1. The connectivity is very poor
                                      2, When the B B servcie is on there is huge disturbance in the telephone line & we cant talk on phone.
                                      Neither we can hear nor the person called can hear us.
                                      Since Sat ( 30.05.09) there is no connectivity of the B B service

                                      I completely agree with your complaint and also i am facing same problem here at my house.
                                      I tried talking calling with other than BSNL phone(ORPAT etc.) there were no disturbance so may be some telephone instruments do not have noice tolerance. There will be no use of complaint to BSNL they wont listen or work on it. I suggest u to try different telephone instruments belong to different brands.

                                      Inform me which is best in tolerating noice...
                                      I use ORPAT but still it has little noice but better than BSNL's.

                                      i m not getting download speed they are providing me as 799b/s speed for download and they mentioned the 39kbps... wen i called customer care service they are not solving my problem . this is too bad service...

                                      bsnl broadbank — Disturbance in talking

                                      Sir,
                                      I have installed BSNL broad band at home. There is no problem about connectivity or speed.

                                      However, I am experienceing problem while talking on phone when Internet is connected.
                                      I am almost unable to here the voice of the opposite party. Other party can here my voice clearly.

                                      Hi. I am Wesley Thomas from ICF Chennai, I have been using BSNL broadband for the past one yr. BSNL seems to be very careless in taking care of their customers. The toll free helpline adds misery. Many a times the calls on this toll free call centers are unattended. I have recommended many of my friends to install BSNL broadband and they did it in belief in me. But now a days I am fed up by the poor connectivity. Some of my friend's connections do not get registered with the ISP immediately. They can switch on the computer and go for a shopping and come back so that they can work. While there is a huge competition in the market the BSNL is very cool in loosing its customers. Wire free USB broadband is gaining popularity because of BSNL's negligence. If the connectivity problems of the BSNL broadband users are not set right at the earliest I am sure that BSNL will see a great downfall. I will be the first person to prevent my friends falling a prey to this poor ISP. Sorry BSNL u are on the edge to set right yourself. Even though I am a Govt employee, I am unable to tolerate the attitude of BSNL. The government has given priority and provided adequate infrastructure to BSNL but of no use. Dear friends if necessary we will approach the Ministry of Communications and find a fair solution. Thanks. My mobile number is [protected].

                                        OUTGOING CALL BARRED

                                        I am owing BSNL Cell-one post paid connection since 3 years ago. I have never missed my bill payment any month. On 1st of september 2008 at 1900 hrs my outgoing calls were barred. Enquiring about the same from customer service I was told that my bill of July 2008 amounting to 359/- rs has not been paid. Where as the bill has been paid on 25th aug 2008 and I possess the counter receipt of it. It has been 36 hours and my outgoing call has not...
