The number-[protected] was ported to BSNL- Andaman& Nicobar Circle from Vodafone-Kolkata Circle in June, 2018.
I have been receiving these messages from 1901 quoting “13 days left; your services will be withdrawn if you do not pay the final bill of your previous service provider and submit the payment receipt at the nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre by 18-Aug-2018. Thank You”
I have paid the Final Bill of Vodafone on receiving the above message on the same day(receipt attached). I have tried to contact the BSNL Customer Care and they have said that there’s no such information available to them on this issue and I have to contact the nearest BSNL office to get the issue resolved.
As I was on tour on I could not get to any BSNL service centre till 15th August. On 16th I visited the A&N circle BSNL office at Port Blair, I was told that everything is all right and I don’t need to submit the receipt and said that they are only concerned about the payments done to BSNL not Vodafone.
Now as on 22.08.2018, My number is not working since morning INCOMING, OUTGOING and Internet services have stopped working. On calling BSNL Customer Care they don’t have any resolution available for this situation.
I am sending this mail because I feel helpless, This is my official phone number and it’s availability is very essential for my work. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.
As you can see in the attached picture, Vodafone says that they don't have any pending payments receivable from me. I don't know where to go, that's my official number and that number is linked to all the accounts. This is acute harrassment by BSNL and Vodafone. I am regretting porting my phone number.
