BharatPe — Someone using my phone number in fake UPI ID

I received a call from someone claiming that he had sent me a UPI transfer with a BharatPe UPI ID: "BHARATPE.[protected]@fbpe" belonging to a merchant named "Sundar". The UPI ID contains a phone number that belongs to me but the UPI ID as stated does not belong to me and the merchant name is also not mine.

I am receiving WhatsApp messages from multiple people who want payment back, I confirmed that the payment was not received by me, which is obvious because the UPI ID doesn't belong to me
