I have applied for 12 years payment (Elite Advantage plan) insurance policy in Bharti.Axa life insurance on 24.05.2022. Payment of Rs 30, 000/= also made online on 25.05.2022. Subsequently, they issued the proposal number on the same day (i.e. 25.05.2022 proposal number is [protected]). Then they asked me to complete the ECS(E nach) transaction, so they may automatically debit the money for premium every year. This also I have completed. Then I got the verification call for verification.
Subsequently, they sent the policy and I received it on 30.06.2022. After reading the policy terms and condition I am not satisfied. Hence I have sent a request through register mail on 05.07.2022 for cancellation. But they refused to cancel. They asked me to go to nearest branch for cancellation. Further free look period is there up to 15 days from the date of receipt of policy. Now I have to take leave from the existing job and go to the nearest city for cancellation.
This statement is not at all acceptable. While taking the policy they allowed us to take any mode anywhere you can apply online or offline, but for cancellation, we have to go to the nearest branch. As I am residing away from the city (around 80kM), and taking leave and how I can go to the city for cancellation. They have to enable the online mode for cancellation.
BHARTI.AXA has to take the necessary initiative to cancel the policy through online/registered email/ through registered SMS.
Based on the above Kindly cancel my policy and refund the amount immediately.

Complaint marked as Resolved Still issues not resolved. No one from the company contacted. Without contacting, they are indicating in the response is resolved. This is not at all correct.

Same thing happened to me with so called HDFC relationship manager Ajit lokhande. But I think Bharti - axa is somehow involved, as latter they accepted my complain and claimed that they refunded my money on 16th Feb 2022 but I have not received it 30th June 2022
