Bharti Axa — Mis-selling of Elite Advantage plan with false / fake promises

I was approached by Priyanjal, a Bharti AXA employee, in relation to a life insurance policy called "Elite Advantage" in Oct' 2021. Priyanjal briefed me about the policy benefits and sent me 2 PDFs on my WhatsApp number on the same day. 1 PDF was in relation to Life Insurance Policy and 2nd one was in relation to Medical/Health Insurance Policy.

Priyanjal promised me the following benefit if I invest minimum 50k annually in this policy:

1. Life Insurance cover
2. Guaranteed savings
3. Medical / Health Insurance of 4 members (including me) of my family for 4 lakhs
4. Discount on premium (10% for the first premium and 20% for remaining years)
5. Grofers coupons for 2-3K (I don't remember exactly)

Considering the benefits, I decided to go with 60k investment annually because 4 lakhs medical / health insurance with a life insurance cover sounds like a great deal. So we went ahead with all the formalities including various verification calls such as personal and medical details for myself and my family members (my wife, my dad and my mother) whom I wanted to cover in the medical / health insurance policy.

On every call, I was assured that a medical team will visit my place once the policy is enrolled so that medical / health insurance policy bond paper can be issued. On some of the calls, various employees from Bharti AXA also asked me not to discuss any extra benefit with the third party verification team because they were not supposed to be dealing with these issues.

Once I received my policy bond paper I contacted Priyanjal because nowhere in the entire bond paper mentioned anything about medical / health insurance details, discount on premiums and other benefits I was promised. Priyanjal assured me that this is the first bond paper and a second paper is in transit and will be received soon which will mention the details of all other benefits, as promised.

In the meantime, I also received calls from other employees of Bharti AXA that there is no need to worry as the second bond paper will be received and is only getting delayed due to month-end closing and rising Covid cases in Mumbai.

I provided all the audio recordings as proofs to Bharti AXA grievance department along with their senior management team but to the surprise, they claim that I was given enough information to cancel my policy within 15 days of receiving the bond paper but did not acknowledge the fact that the policy was sold with false promises.

This is the worst company with worst management.
