[Resolved] Big Bazaar / Futurebazaar / Future Retail / Hometown — late delivery | |||||
I had unfortunately purchased a zina four seater dining table from hometown company through the online platform peperfry.com. The product was delivered and took another few days for a technician to come and do the fitting.in a matter of few days the bench broke when a member of our family sat on it causing injury to him. This just blurts out the quality of the product that they falsely advertise as pieces of art. Keeping the quality aside we raised a complaint for replacement hoping a fresh piece would do us justice. Yes we decided to give the company and its products another chance rather than asking for a refund! A technician had come to inspect after a few days again and he said this will be replaced as the damage was evident and clear that it was a quality issue. He left informing us the bench will be replaced in 10 days. So since july 29th i am now waiting for those very long 10 days to come to an end! These long 10 days have put me through immense amount of frustration and mental torture arising due to sheer negligence and lack of responsibility from their part. I have made countless follow ups and escalations to get this matter to closure however all my efforts have been unfruitful. Countless number of times their call centre employees have assured me they would get back to me with relevant information within 4 hours and have left me hanging. I had talked to their employees at floor manager levels mr. Kailash and mr. Fayaz who have promised me the item will be delivered on the same day we talked and again i was cheated. Today the last straw was pulled. I was assured that it would be delivered today and now when i called the carpenter whose number i painstakingly acquired from their concerned teams after being put on hold for a painful while he has informed me the driver has left and this wouldn't be closed today. I am suffering a great deal just because i have spent my hard earned money on their company's product! I feel cheated, betrayed and exhausted. Was this information helpful? | |||||
