I would like to mention about the so-called home delivery system that Big Bazaar has. If there was no home delivery provided in any store there is no issue but as far as Big Bazaar is concerned these people are promising something and we are getting something else.
I want to complain about the incident that happened on 13th June. I purchase every month from Big Bazaar, Spectrum Mall, Chennai but I recently got to know that the home delivery option is available so today I made a purchase for 2876 and opted for the home delivery. But the staff seemed to be clueless about the process. First they asked to write down the address on the bill. The issue started when I asked them for acknowledgement. The guy told me that they will neither give me an acknowledgement nor a duplicate bill copy. Then when I insisted, the staff at another counter said that there is a challan that they will provide. He went in search of the book and came back after more than 15-20min. Then he filled in the details once again but didn't give a copy. There were 3 copies and he didn't know which one to give me. He kept on enquiring to other on which copy to give. then he called someone over the phone and was discussing the same thing for a very long time and then started having personal talks. It's so annoying that a staff doesn't even know which copy to provide to a customer. He didn't even provide a duplicate bill copy. The entire process took more than an hour. I got so irritated that I cancelled the home delivery option and carried everything myself. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a supermarket and from a retailer like Big Bazaar it's just not acceptable! I also forgot to mention about the staff. The staff behaviour and knowledge on product prices etc is zero. I am sure that Future group can employ better staff and give better training than this. You guys should learn from Nilgiris about staff behaviour!
I really don't think that I would be going to Big Bazaar once again. And I would definitely share my experience with friends and collagues. This attitude from Big Bazaar employees is just not acceptable!
