[Resolved]  Billdesk — request for a refund : transaction failure and money deducted

On 23.06.2020, i filled a online form of ptet2020 and paid rs.500/- from my debit card through billdesk payment gateway.
After paying, i paid and got the message "maintenance activity is currently in progress, please try after some time". But meantime my money has already been deducted from my account.
I wait for 24hours and called to the ptet office and confirmed that the money has not been reached in their account.
I thought the money will refunded back.
So again i paid the same amount though the billdesk payment gateway.
In this way i paid two times for the same form and for the same candidate.
Due to server error in the billdesk, so the payment was failed on the said date.
After two days, i got to know that both the amount has been reached to the merchant.
Then i mailed so many times to refund one excess/double money, but no one is responding this matter.
Kindly do needful to refund excess/double money of rs.500/- through original payment method.
Note: merchant refused to refund because they have no provision for it.
Due to server error from bill desk, double amount has been debited from my account.

I mailed so many times to BillDesk in this regard. I got the reply also. They have written that the money is with the Merchant. Then I mailed to the merchant. The merchant is a govt. organization. They told there is NO provision to refund the excess amount. My point is that if the error is from the BillDesk, so the BillDesk has to refund the money. Kindly do needful and instruct the BillDesk to initiate the refund amount. I mailed to : [email protected]. I mailed so many times to refund the money, but every time I got the mail from them to contact the merchant. As I told, merchant refused to pay as there is NO provision to refund the excess money. So it is the duty of the BillDesk to resolve the issue at the earliest.
BillDesk customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
