This is regarding the unsettled transaction against the monthly electricity consumption bill for CESC for the month of August through BillDesk (consumer no. [protected]). The bill amount (Rs. 1670.00) was paid online through UPI based method (transaction ID:[protected]; Gateway: BillDesk; recipient UPI ID: billdeskpg.[protected]@icici) from the CESC website on 19.20.2020 at 9:18 AM. The transaction is showing successful (screenshot attached) and the amount was debited from our account and successfully credited to the recipient's account; however, the payment status is still showing unpaid on the website and no receipt has also been generated against the transaction. Upon contacting CESC, they replied that "the mentioned payment has not been received by us till date" and requested us to check with BillDesk for further details/ refund of the transacted amount. Billdesk is not responding to the email communication.
