Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a relatively new customer. I received my first 20-ltr bottle of Bisleri around a week ago. When I called my regular retailer for a refill, I was told he would charge me Rs 10 over and above the registered price, and not give me a receipt. So, I decided to place my order for a refill with Bisleri directly. After all, as the company's advertisements and branding so proudly proclaim, it makes deliveries across Mumbai.

I placed an order for a refill of my 20-ltr Bisleri jar approximately 25 times between Monday, August 3 and Saturday, August 8. I didn't receive ANY water. Worse, I was promised the water around 7 times by Bisleri staff. I waited at home on these 7 occasions, only for Bisleri to fail on its promise.

Needless to say, I will find myself a more reliable company. I want to inform Bisleri, however, that I intend to pursue this matter to its conclusion. To begin with, I will take this up with the press. Its advertisements are fraudulent and its claims are wrong. I also intend to take this up with the Advertising Standards Council of India. The company simply cannot make claims it has no intention of fulfilling. Thirdly, I intend to file a case against the company in the city consumer court. My calls have all been placed on record.

It may take time for the court to reach a verdict, but I have no problem waiting. Bisleri takes its customers for granted, and I intend to change that attitude. Considering it is involved in the act of charging people for water — a despicable thing to do by ANY standards — the least it can do is make sure it delivers, at the listed MRP.

This, I can promise you: Bisleri will hear from me. And I will stick to my promise, because I don't work for Bisleri.

I strongly second this comment because Bisleri takes it customer for granted.
The no. is always busy. Even the local service representative toss the matter on one another.
The response if [censored]g d**n poor.(Sorry for this kind of Language But can't help) Without water you really become angry.Customer has to suffer like hell and that to without water for days.
I had placed an order on Friday[protected] and was given the assurance that the same would be delivered by Monday[protected]. Now today being Friday[protected] there is no response.This is not the first time even for making payments we have to follow up relentlessly with them like anything
sad to hear such thing. Nexus is too strong to earn in black that retailer collude with the company representatives to get Rs 10 extra over the actuals and pass the share to company (not sure but is one of the tricks in many companies). They do this by not fulfilling the promises by defaulting to their commitment, thus reducing the reliability factor of company. In turn, customers have to turn back to the (irony here) thirsty retailers who would then command as per their whims. Hope actual authorities pay heed to all your complaints and get to some action path soon.

Anyway I just checked today in my office that bisleri bottles (20 L was checked by me) comes at Rs 70 (though online order of bisleri to home charges show Rs 80 on website). The bottles also have Hologram on the can cover (green in color) and also contains printed date with batch numbers, packing date and so on. Keep this under check whenever you get bottles? When you dont find these, maintain distance and dont pay as this could be normal water from some well @ Rs 1/can also. :)

    Its been more than a month that we stopped using Bisleri packaged water however the distrubutor is not returning the deposit (Rs.300/-) for 2 cans. Everytime he keeps on saying he'll come next day and doesnt do anything. Now he has stopped picking up the phone. We live in Jeevan Bheema Nagar, bangalore and the distrubutor is Panchmukhi Distrubtuers, Next to Om Shkati temple, Jeevan Bheemanagar, Bangalore.

    Bisleri — refund of deposits

    sir, I am greatly disappointed and regretted to bring to your notice that even after stopping the supply the two empty cans were not takan back by the agency for the past one month. I need it to be tken back and refund the deposit. Kindly do the needful.

      Respected Sir,
      I being one of the dealers would like 2 draw ur kind attention to the marketing behaviour o[censored]r LUDHIANA office staff.
      1. Ur products bear no fix price. They vary from dealer 2 dealer.
      2. There is a lot of quality complaint in water.
      3. They donot provide a VAT invoice to their dealers.
      4. Order of a dealer despatched is delivered to another dealer if needed.
      5. All the other companies have a single dealer in a town but urs company has many.
      6. If anyone else other than dealer wants BISLERI product, then its just a call away.
      7. It seems like a personal company.
      All over one thing can be concluded that there are no rules n regulations at ur ludhiana office.
      I think my points will be taken in consideration n hope for early positive results.

        Dear Sir,

        Due to repeated complaints to your departement, not doing the correction in the problem infact every time they come up with the money matters saying that give me 45000 and I will do the cross connection. Asking for 2 lacs rupees to connect to the main chamber. We are in food beverage company and facing due to dead line of sewerage. It is humble request to your senior officers to issue necesary directives and serious actions to complete the job in order so that the food company will not face the logging of water inside the plant.

          I am a person who is always away from house, so i am a regular user of Mineral water.
          So throughout my life i hav given more emphasis on the brand Bisleri which i beleive a lot.
          This product is very close to heart for any one because its a sensitive product where you pay a good amount to safely quench your thirst.

          This happened with me

          I used to eat food regularly in a restaurent at Mahim - Mumbai and used to take BISLERI water also.
          That day i took a 2 ltr bottle whose Manufacturing date was just 1 week before. I took it home; drank a gulp, that was the worst moment, immediately i smelled the bottle's neck it was even worse but the water was very clear and properly sealed.

          I gave back the bottle to the restaurant and complained, i know there will'nt be any action taken but i have decided to quit the brand loyalty towards Bisleri and i promise i will use the word of mouth technique to make others aware of this cruelty.

          I took this much time to type this message to u all cos thats what will happen with sensitive brands if they dont provide QUALITY & HYGIENIC product

          Hi,
          Ive read your complaint & agree with what you say. However, I have my own reasons to believe that Bisleri was not at fault.
          What really happens, it that these restaurants look quite spick & span at the dining level, but at the kitchen level, its a heap of dirt & sundry. heap of cut & uncut vegetables, rotten food, mops etc etc.
          What i forsee, is that the kitchn staff must have kept the cartons/bottle near an unhygienic area, which would have caused the bottle to stink.
          & since you would have taken a sip from your bottle directly, your smelling sense came into contact of water bottle, earlier than water touched your tongue etc.
          Therefore, the nasty smell was not of water & must have been due to the unhygienic conditions of that restaurant/shop etc.

          Need to clarify that im not from Bisleri & not clarifying for them, but its my independent view as a consumer.

            This is Harshad Ambokar from Kingfisher, I deal in 20 Ltrs Jars, We have always been hearing complaints regarding Bisleri, so you would be glad to hear about Kingfisher 20 Ltrs Drinking Water, which we can give at a cost of Rs.50, ( less that actually MRP ) as Kingfisher which is a brand. The deposit is same as the Bisleri i.e. 150 ( 1 time only) . And if your monthly consumption is more then we can even reduce the rate. Be assured about the service you will get the delivery from time to time and the delivery is free.             I think so you got some commission in Kingfisher company.
            Dont spoil other company business.

              I AM GAURAV GUPTA FROM DEHRADUN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT GIVING THE SCHEMES WHICH ARE TOLD BY COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES
              We were gone to visit mathura last week.all the shopkeepers at 'Janambhumi' were charging 4-5 rupees more than the M.R.P. printed on the bisleri minrel water bottles.When we asked them the reason, they told us " increasing demand due to hot season can make large profit for us".Plz take some action against it, as it is a tourist place and a large no. of tourists visit this Holy Place...All the tourists and devotees will be benefited by this...
              Not a surprise.

              He takes extra money for every product. But we don’t have time to fight. Only we can stop buying from that shop. No one care about consumers.
              reputation of bisleri is down.the supply chain is worst.you call them 6 times even then they dont supply.their distributors are worst.stop drinking bisleri as mark of your protest.this is what i have done

                We were purchasing Bisleri water cans through the distributor

                We wanted to stop the service from June 15th 2009. For two weeks we have been repeatedly calling these numbers and asking them to come and pick up their cans and return the security deposit for the cans. They say they will come and never actually come.

                I live in Parkview Apartments, Defense Colony, Bangalore and many of the people in that enterprise by now know who the affected party is, if the address is mentioned.

                Again send reminder on 30th May 2016 and 20th June 2016.
                They are not replying or not showing courtesy to reply on mail.
                Many times talk with customer care but no use.

                  We call for Bisleri water 20 LTR but if we keep it for 4- 5 days we can see a kind of algae getting deposited at the bottom of the container.

                  We have even told the same to the person who sells it higher than the MRP printed and if we call up customer care of Bisleri we have never got a response back.

                  Bisleri 20 liter bottle — Contaminated water

                  I have been purchasing BISLERI 20 liter water bottle for residential purpose, on 28.03.2012 i have been supplied 1 bottle from M/S Meghana Enterprises Khughat South Kolkata, when started using today morning, there are white flakes floating. BISLERI like company giving such poor quality products that too selling at double the price of other brands and they are playing with lifes of the people.

                    not giving the correct bottle

                    i from uniworld garden sec -47 gurgoan tower -4 7th floor 703 complain- we have been taking bottle from starting of the may and today he came to give as bisleri bottle {20lt} and we gave him 60 rs he said its of 70 rs but since after a while he said ok fine give me 50 rs then as i asked why ? he replied that the water is not besleri and it was packed in a bisleri bottle so i have complaint to see over this mater as the bottle we got is not...

                    Dear sir,

                    Here I complain to u of regarding insect found in ur Bisleri-20 litre bottle .
                    My complaint number is 6969 dated 30th March 2009.
                    Your quality inspector Mr. Pramod has visited the same on 31st march 2009 physically and confirmed it.
                    Vide batch No. 0322, dated 22 march. Which I bought from the ur local dealer. As am drinking water regulary.
                    I have called so many time for compensation for the same. But none o[censored]r senior person turned up.
                    Either none o[censored]r senior person bother to call up . How can u play with human life with such a reputed company and quality control.
                    Till now talk to Mr. Lal, Madam nitu and Mr. Pramod. But no response.
                    I request to settle the compenstion with in two days.
                    Failure to this will make us to move to not only consumer court but also will to various news channels and Govt. agency. So that at least Govt. should insure that ur company should ply with human life and people should know what they are drinking.

                    Looking forward to hear from u with settlement and compensation.

                      Mr. Manoj Gupta Mayur Traders who is authorised Stockist of Bisleri having phone numbers 26225957, 30829710 Residence number 65653842, having address of K-79A, Main Road, Kalkaji (Opp. Gol Chakkar), New Delhi - 110019 is a supplier of Mineral water bottle to our office address #221, First Floor, Okhla Industrial Estate Phase-III, New Delhi.

                      He had supplied a duplicate bottle of the Bisleri water, consuming which 3 people have already fell sick due infection in Stomach.

                      An strict action should be taken against such a person and company.

                      Gupta Traders — No water supply

                      Delhi Jal Board is not in a position to supply water for delhi people properly. Everydat there is news about leakage of water in line yet other hand lacs of people are facing shortage of water in delhi, particularly at South Delhi.

                      Very humbly I request to you pl. do something otherwise Govt. should take steps to streamline this worst department. In the capital of country, we are facing problem of water supply.

                      We bought a carton of 500 ml bottles which have B.NO. SA197 (M/D). I want you to replace the carton and let me know why it tastes so bitter.
                      Duplicate bisleri bottle(bisceri) is supplying at triputi restaurant, kallawas-kaluwas Road Rajasthan.
                      Shame on them, when I said that this is duplicate then why you are selling it at bisleri price, so the shopkeeper replied we earn extra in this.why we would worry about people, why we would sell bisleri when we are earning more in duplicate bisleri(bisceri)...

                        I WANT TO INFORM THAT NOWADAYS THE BISLERI BOTTLES ARE COMING WITHOUT ANY PRICE TAG AND EVEN BATCH NUMBER .I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW U EVEN COUNT HOW MUCH YOU HAVE PRODUCED DURING A SHIFT I ALSO WORK IN A COMPANY APART FROM THAT WHEN YOU SEE BOTTLE FOR PRICE IT SAYS REFER CAP AND WHEN YOU TRY TO FIND IT OUT THERE THEN IT IS JUST PLANE CAP WITHOUT ANY SINGLE ALPHABET WRITTEN ON IT WHICH MAKES THE SHOPKEEPER TO SELL IN HIS OWN PRICE AND WE EVEN CAN'T ASK ANYTHING.                           use to buy bisleri bottle (1ltr)from Bhiwad(eat well shop near SBBJ), Rajasthan for Rs12/- . But today when I sent the boy to purchase one from the same outlet the shop owner asked for Rs15/- while the MRP written on the bottle was Rs12/-. On being asked why he is doing the same he replied that the dealer is supplying to them at Rs15/- per bottle. I would bring to your notice that this is unfair trade practice which brings disrepute to the Brand like Bisleri. Request you to please look into the matter.



                          I promise you that I will never buy a Bisleri till the time I get a satisfactory reply.

                          i am dr pranay singh chakotiya, senior resident RML Hospital New Delhi, is a regular consumer of bisleri water since last one year, but since last two months the local supplier (pandit ice depot, near hanuman mandir, gole market, central delhi. mobile no. [protected]) is not supplying bisleri 20 litre bottle properly. he used to supply it after 3 to 4 days even after repeated calling. and his employers who supply it also asked for extra money apart from the cost of bisleri bottle. as there is no other supplier nearby i have to suffer a lot making my and my belonging health at risk drinking normal water. kindly do necessary action to maintain the prestigious image of your brand or i have to stop drinking bislery and start searching for other options. please do reply against your taken action

                            I am getting poor quality of Bisleri 20Ltr packaged water bottle.Shop owner refuse to listen and gives response "If you don't like, don't buy from us.".

                            On Bisleri website, there is no place where one can lodge their complain. Suggest how to take this matter further so that we can start getting hygienic water.

                            Recently we have seen white particles floating in Bisleri 20Ltr jar, we asked the shop to inform bisleri, but nothing happened, finally we called bisleri care number in blore, they are collecting the jar and replacing it, BUT they are non-committal about the quality of water or even giving a lab test report as yet.

                            Our fear is that if we blindly trust these companies, what safeguards are there to ensure that water they are supplying is not contaminated, there should be some agency that certifies the quality of portable mineral water by suppliers and also have a mechanism to redress complaints from consumers.

                            This is a huge health hazzard and sadly no one is accountable for it. A company like Bisleri can toss its weight around and a single consumer - who is affected - will have no recourse to wrong practices, as well there is no known procedure available to consumers to get his/her complaint addressed and also make sure that such laxity in supply of the most essential element of our life (water) by companies like Bisleri is stopped, thus ensuring some level of health safety to the citizens.

                            That makes it two o[censored]s! Yes, we buy those 20ltr jar and witness the similar white particles floating around inside the jar. The bisleri agency here in bangalore did respond trying to say that it was "Ozonised Air Blow' to keep the water clean. I for one did not buy the answer and wrote to bisleri marketing team. The result; N-O-T-H-I-N-G. So, where do we go from here?

                              I recently bought a 5 litre bisleri water botle from 'bake n cake" bakery in koramangala. I did not check the botttle at the time of buying. took it home, and after pouring some water in a glass, noticed that some fungus like particles were floating in the glass. I checked the bisleri water bttle and found many such slimy particles. i took it in my hand and it was like mucus, but when it is in water, it floats to quite a big size, white/a slight tinge of orange color and almost invisible. the bottle was sealed when i bought it

                              must have consumed dirty bisleri water before as the dirt partices are almost invisible.

                              please be careful and dont trust the brand.

                              Ironicaly, , it is supposedly one of the most trusted mineral water brands!

                              A disappointed customer.

                              Bisleri 5 Litre Bottle — Higher price charged than actual printed MRP

                              Shopkeeper in Kandivali (Welcome super market, vasant utsav, Thakur village, kandivali-W) charged Rs. 55 for 5 litres bisleri bottle when MRP printed on the bottle was rs. 35/-
                              What is the reason for this???

                                water which we are getting is always contaminated

                                i am Mr.Devendra A in our office we use to buy always bisleri water bottle 20ltr. the bottle which we getting is always contaminated or it is getting contaminated within 10 days we have even complainted to agency also, some white or green color particles are always present, but when we communicate to the Agency he is telling it come from bisleri they are not responsible for it & i m facing this problem for last 3months.

                                Sir,

                                This is to bring to your notice that the stores inside the international airport at mumbai - Chatrapati shivaji terminal sell products which are overcharged way above their MRP consumables like water, chocolates, biscuits etc...(A bottle of mineral water which has MRP of Rs 12.00/- is sold at Rs 50.00/- )when asked why am i being overcharged they say that its being sold inside the airport, I think so the airport is Government run and selling items above the MRP is an offence.
                                Could you please take sum action regarding this matter.

                                It is always wrong to sell more than MRP weather it is inside or outside.
                                The Deli outlet in the recently opened GVK mall, Hyd charged Rs 17 for a 500 ml Kinely mineral water bottle. The MRP was clearly stated as Rs 10.00 . On being asked what the extra Rs 7 amounted for, the guy manning the counter replied in the most disinterested tone that he could muster that the extra money amounts for Service tax, VAT etc!!! ... I mean is this actually legal???????
                                I think you will not get help on this. I have seen almost all airports charge above MRP and give same excuses. It seems govt officials are alos involved in it.

                                railway stations in Chennai like egmore and central , Stalls are selling more than the product value and all the stalls are government approved on asking they say they need some commission on their sale

                                so i would like the consumer forum to act and stop this act from helping them collect black money

                                  Foul Smell in Bisleri's water

                                  We've been buying Bisleri's 20 ltr water bottle since the past 15 months. Recently, during the past month, a foul smell comes from some of the bottles. The bottles are sealed during purchase. There is probably something in the water itself. I have reported the shopkeeper, and he also says that more costumers are complaining the same.

                                  I had blind trust over this brand, but not anymore...
                                  Now i have switched...
