So I wanted to send over a cake on my father's birthday and was looking for a same day delivery option. Since ferns and petals was not accpeting same day delivery orders and igp website was acting up, I decided to go with the new bloomsvilla website. I am based out of India and often need to use such websites. I was skeptical of providing my CC details but I was desperate so I took a leap of faith. And as was expected, this is a complete fraudulent website.
Details:
- Order No. - BV22117712
- There was an order confirmation email and then no calls were made to the recipient
- The order of course was not delivered but a fraudulent delivery email was generated the next day
- No their customer support is a scam as well, no one picks up calls
- If you check their website, on the contact us page, there is no physical address mentioned of the business, which is so shady, wish I had checked that before
- The sad part is Razorpay, which is a trusted payment gateway, is their payment vendor, so Razorpay is getting a cut out of the fraud money too. And if you use the netbanking and wallet methods of payment, you would notice, that Razorpay lists it as a trusted business, so thats speaks tonne about Razorpay's own ways of vetting their own customers.
This website, just collects credit card details of customers living abroad, so if you have made a payment with your card, be very alert of the transactions and should also set up sms alerts for any transaction here on.
Ideally I would love to get my money back, but lets face it, its gone gone gone and its never coming back. If you need to send cakes or gifts to someone, please use trusted sites like Swiggy or dont send a cake. Better than losing your personally identifiable data.
