Complaint Description:
I’m writing to report a deeply disappointing and unresolved issue involving boAt earphones purchased from Amazon India.
📦 Purchase Details:
Order Date: 12th July 2025
Delivery Date: 15th July 2025
Issue: One side of the earphones was non-functional right out of the box
When I tried to initiate a return on Amazon, the return option was not available for this item. As a result, I filed a warranty claim directly with boAt’s service center.
❌ Warranty Claim Rejected – With Conflicting Information:
The warranty claim was rejected, but the reason provided in the official Service Denial Certificate was:
“Like to like replacement of the product not available with us.”
This is a highly vague and unsatisfactory explanation for denying a warranty claim — especially for a product that was defective on delivery and had not been mishandled in any way.
🤝 Amazon's Support – Endless Waiting, No Resolution:
Following boAt’s advice, I contacted Amazon support for help. Despite several chats and calls, I have only been repeatedly told to “wait” — without any actual solution, escalation, or timeline for resolution.
😠 Summary of the Experience:
Received a defective product from day one
boAt issued a generic and unclear service denial reason
Amazon refuses to take responsibility or provide a refund/replacement
I am stuck between two companies, with no accountability from either side
What I Am Requesting:
Immediate action from both boAt and Amazon to provide a refund or replacement
Coordination between the two parties to resolve this matter professionally
Resolution Sought:
A full refund or a brand-new replacement of the defective earphones
